Volunteers who are rolling up their sleeves to restore peace to wartorn areas such as South Sudan, and many of them say that what’s happening in these places concern everyone all across the globe. In this week’s edition of the Globalists, we invite Catherine Shin, a senior political affairs officer at the UN Department of Peace Operations, to hear her personal stories from behind the scenes in South Sudan and other conflict zones.
