This was my first in-person run since AGDQ2020 and I had such a great time. Showing off my favorite games for a great cause will never get old. Thank you again to GDQ for having me, it was a pleasure as always.
This was my first and most played dmc game. Vergil was my main and the combat really shined in bloody palace gamemode. Loved the speedrun with my favorite runners and their commentary and witty, cheeky humor. Much love decosmic and friends
DMC 4 is my second favorite Devil May Cry game after DMC 3. I got into DMC a lot later than most folks so I started with 3 and then played 4 once I could. Eventually I got to play DMC 1 & 2 via the HD Collection, I didn’t hate 2 as much as others did but I could see why people dislike it so much lol (Obviously DMC 5 is godlike, no need for explanation)
31:31 Actually they first introduce Zangief final atomic buster in Street Fighter 2 in 1992? 1994? Over a decade before this game. So the move is originally Zangief not Nero. I'm enjoying the commentary tho.
back when i played vanilla DMC4, i could swear the Faults simply had a bunch in the room, but they did have a limit. like if you manage to take out 4 or 5, they stop spawning and you can concentrate on the other enemies with ease. but i think back then, i just saved them for last since they always dropped a health orb, so i got free heals at the end of the room
i have a love hate relationship with speedrunners cuz on one hand ive already playing for hour but they are there in 15 minutes and on top it all of they destroy parts of the game that made you wanna rip your hair out. thats so damn cool...... especially when DMC 4 is my fav out of the series

Its a testament to the series where 3,4, and 5 are jsut so highly regarded and a few runner-ups.
I love how once you get good enough this game is like those arcade games can beat it in an hour and have some insane strats to do it

DMC series, along with Hollow Knight, FromSoft games abd Trackmania, has the best and the most entertaining runners!
I really miss Nero's original arm it just looks so damn cool, I wish there was a skin that gave you it when you're out of breakers in 5 thatd be cool
