Gamma trimmers are garbage. Did one haircut and the blade was hot like a curling iron. I returned them while I could get my money back. A full day in the barbershop is the tru test for clippers and trimmers
Not sure I always just try to reset any trimmers that don’t operate how I want. Sometimes multiple times a day until I get them. I’d try that a few times.

This trimmer fuckin SUCKS! If you're planning on getting these trimmers, DONT! It drags the skin and tugs hair. The whole modular aspect of the trimmers is all gimmick. The replaceable lids are easily scratched and is made out of cheap plastic. Save your money and buy a Slimline pro
They're a good trimmer but i bought them recently and i have a big issue with how they seem to drag against clients skin? They line up well, they are great when using them in a downward motion to remove bulk but when using them in a upward motion to clean up with your base ready for balding they seem to tug the skin or dont glide well against the skin, while other and cheaper trimmers seem to work buttery smooth, any idea why?
Just noticed you addressed this in your video, i spent £100 on these and wanted something that did both, guess i gotta face the facts and get a different pair of detailers for bulk removal, any ideas?
Agreed. That’s basically what I said in this video. Killer for line work, not great for removing bulk coming upward. Got a new and improved hitter since then and they’ve been nice

Seancutshair cool cause on this barber supply website I was deciding between the cordless detailer and gamma hitter. On the site if you buy the gamma hitter you get the gamma shaver for free too lol so that was tilting me towards the gammas, I’ll go with the detailers tho

Are you able to use stylecraft absolute hitter covers on the gamma? I wanted to get a clear cover for my stylecraft but only gamma makes them and i was wondering if it would fit.

Just got mine today🔥 was going with the gold fx. Really close to the skin and sharp blade🔥but hate the look and way to bulky and length. While the hitters are small powerful easy to go around the ear. And I have had the wahl hero’s they are beast. But they heat up crazy. The absolute hitters are great. Barly warm to the touch. After 2 or so hours. Small and reminds me of the trimmer I had. And plus it’s cordless 🔥 10/10 totally recommend
So had them for a while and man they still hit. Just finished cutting hair and I forgot to charge them. And I charged them I swear to you not even 8 mins and was allready good for another 7-8 heads. Crazy how much these little guys can hold up

Ive had 4 pair of these. The hitter puts a crisp line but for balding out they snag a lot and dont have much power. I like wahl detailers or andis t edgers for balding out the best.
I bought these, the edge ups are amazing, however, taking bulk is awful, I used it straight out the box used its oil etc. When I came to scooping bulk it kept pinching the skin and hurting the client. Maybe ill use a T wide andis or wahl blade, that might change everything.
@@Seancutshair its a shame, because for the price, I was expecting to atleast debulk as well as line up. If I had known from the start the issues it had with debulking, I wouldn't have purchased these.

I would recommend the gold skeletons and the gold shaver. But for a cheaper price these are nice. Haven’t tried the gamma shaver yet but want it strictly for the wireless charging
