Serena is absolutely correct, Roger’s serve is so underrated. Even in his bad years, that serve has kept him competitive
he doesnt have the biggest serve in the game either so he's obviously doing something right with it

@@stuewz Yes his serve is super underrated. Everyone talks about John Isner when it comes to best servers in the game. Fed may not have the same pace or depth of Isner but he is accurate af.
Serena just says what all professional players, legends and experts already know. Federer has one of the best serves in the game. For me, he has the best serve of all. The best serve is never the fastest. It is the placement, variation and you just can´t read it. Even the rivals who played him like 40 times (Djokovic, Nadal) have all the trouble in the world when he serves above 65%. No surpise that Federer is right after the top acers Isner and Karlovic in terms of total career aces.
They’re both genuinely humbled to be in each other’s company. That’s so refreshing, for two elite sportspeople at the top of their careers.

It was so cool to see that Roger had so much love for Serena and she had so much back. I also thought it was interesting that they both struggled returning each other’s serves because they both disguise so well.

@@jameswyatt4443 well, I watched the match and he wasn’t returning very well against her. Maybe he was taking it easy on her. I dunno but they are both competitors through and through so I would find him going easy on her a bit surprising.

Tennis will be kind of boring when they retire. Love them or hate them, their accomplishments will always be in the history books. I have enjoyed both of their games.

Totally agree with the comments saying the best Tennis moment in 2019 is there right here. Incredible to see the amount of respect they have for each other. I didn’t think about it till Serena said it but I suppose they did in fact grow up along side each other, and have the utmost admiration for each other. The last couple of years have shown what amazing giants of tennis we were blessed with with these two.
