I said "early" and if you don't have the rupees. And in the podcast one of them said they couldn't afford the armor. And that armor looks kind of not great. So you don't have to sacrifice fashion for function 🐳🐋🐳
Sidon's shield becomes even more powerful when you realize that charged attacks and bow attacks don't spend the shield, so if you have a silver longsword (the two-handed Zora weapon), you can do a powerful spin attack while still keeping his shield up for protection, and you can also use the shield to give you a bit of extra time to line up a shot on a Gleeok's eye if you don't feel like using Keese eyeballs.
None of them are useless but i still end up using him the least the more I played because i have equipment to make him not as strong. But they all suffer running 5k away from you when you want to use them or hug you when you don't. But in combat i feel like he hits the second most for me.
i find all of them useless in combat, they get in the way and activating their powers is just a nightmare. in the time you can chase one of them down to do something you could have done 10 other way more effective things. It's more so they have abilities and you can use them in ways you might not have thought of. but yeah they really dropped the ball with the sages. Idk why it's so weird activating their powers lol
@@Wralis tulin does get the crit hit a lot for me and sidon i think is the only other one I've seen do it but i could be wrong on that but yeah they all over all suck in one v one but do an okay job when fighting multiple to help keep them off and yeah I don't know why the made impossible to grab sometimes.
that's true. Usually stuff is dying too fast for me to notice and I don't like the visual clutter/frame drops during combat so it's rare i have the sages out at all if ever
I am just going to say this. There is something unsettling about Link's Smile to the camera. It may just be me reminiscing about that creepy smile Mr. Dream has for a Profile pic in the 1990 remake of Punch Out.
🐳 Sidon gang rise up
no sidons ability is garbage Tulin is the best by far
why use his ability to prevent fire damage in hot areas just go to caves and farm gems to get money for the fireproof armor.

@@Wralis you can get caves early
k, go inform them of that, it was a major complaint in their podcast, which I am responding to.
Sidon is the eye candy

the ones I found most useful were tulin/riju but the wills did literally nothing besides increase the damage a bit
@@dapondboi yeah I wish they reduced cool downs
Yeah I use Sidon mainly for water warrior weapons and for set ups for combos. He's for advanced players not just wack with big stick players lmao.
The Zora has uses then 🐳🐳🐳
also I'm mainly an "unga bunga" big stick player myself 😆
only found him useful during muktorok, elemental enemies, or during the war when I was riding mineru
So, not useless 🐳🐋
@@Wralis yeah
@@Wralis but only sometimes
How have I never thought to use the bubble for the gleeok fireball
probably b.c sidon is running the opposite direction and you have to adapt loool
Get links pinks Toe wet and the Zora weapon is considered wet. Just throw a splash fruit at links feet
