This is fantastic! Love how you showed all the ways you can use the Derwent materials! I have only played with water-soluble colored pencils once, but now I want to give them a go again! These are so lovely! Thank you for sharing
Loved seeing how you used all the different inktense products 😄 I bought the 24 set of inktense pencils this summer, haven’t used them to much yet. But I was really impressed with the color intensity and how they worked with water. Definitely have to play with them some more after watching this video 😄✨
Aah thank you so much! Oh that is exciting! I know it can be a little daunting at first, I wasn't sure how to incorporate the water soluble mediums into my art but now I can't stop 😆 I hope you enjoy experimenting with them!
@@KatieMoody yes, I wasn't totally sure of how I could incorporate the pencils with different mediums, but this definitely gave me some ideas 😄 I'm going to try dipping the pencils in water like you did, gave such a lovely texture, haven't thought about doing it like that 😄
Hi there, thanks for sharing! I don't quite know why it took me so long to stumble upon your video, but I'm glad I did! I bought some Inktense products a while ago but never got round to trying them, but I will now! Incidentally, Derwent has a Black Friday sale on and your code can be used on top of the offers! (I checked! It makes for some serious discounts!) I am now expecting even more art supplies in the post! 😄
Thank you so much for watching! And what good news about the discount code - so glad you could get some good offers! Enjoy your new art supplies when they arrive 😍😍 What did you go for?
Please tell us how you liked the special erasers. I break the smaller Inktense blocks in half by scoring a line with a craft knife and pressing the two sides down over a straightened paperclip. They are smaller and lighter to carry for plein air. It can be hard to tell what color you're using when you look at the dry blocks. To solve this, I created a small cardboard box with a slot for each stick, then I mark the number and a color swatch on the side of the box where each stick belongs. I'm not sure you mentioned in the video that Inktense don't re-wet after they're fully dry. Also, the pencils often layer over mixed media sketches successfully when other pencils failed to make a mark.
Those push button water brushes are the best! I find other ones have a constant dribble of water whereas these only do it when you press the button! Those pencil colours though! 😍 me want but me also wedding poor 😂
Thanks so much Tristen! I can see it on the UK website but can't on the US site, so I think it depends on where you're viewing from! I'll pop the link to the UK site below just in case: www.derwentart.com/en-gb/p/2306130/collections/watersoluble/derwent-inktense-range/derwent-inktense-100-pencils-tin
Thanks for another lovely video! I went straight to the store excited to try your coupon only to find out they shop pretty much everywhere except Europe (thanks Brexit😡). It’s a pity since I was thinking of buying the new Inktense colours released, I haven’t seen them for sale out of the complete 100 set. Could you please tell me the name of that gorgeous neon pink you swatched at 15:20?
Thank you for watching 🥰 I'm so sorry to hear they don't ship to you though, what a pain!! The pink is Pink Flamingo 0405 - fast becoming my favourite shade at the moment! 😊
I enjoyed your video and learning some new ways of using my inktense pencils. I seems I’m unable to buy from Derwent in the UK? I’m in the US. I’m wondering if your discount code will work at the US site?
Thank you so much, I'm so glad it was helpful! Unfortunately the discount code only works on the UK site 😔 I don't have a discount code for the US one, so sorry!
your explanations are always very thorough, and I appreciate all the swatching!!
Aah thank you so much! 😊

Thank you so much Jaclyn 🥰 I always used to avoid water soluble pencils but now I absolutely love them! They create such a lovely textured line 😊

@@KatieMoody I 'invested' in a set of Lightfast and a set of Drawing - now I just need to get practising so I can do them all justice! 😅
Oolala fun stuff!
So much fun! Thanks for watching Claudia 😃

Hahaha totally get it Kate 😆 And yes I totally agree! They have much better control than ones I've used in the past!
Awesome! I don't see the pencil set of 100 on their site. Is it brand new?

@@KatieMoodyno worries!
Can you try the inktense crayon on cotton
Do you mean cotton paper? 😊 The Inktense paper pad I swatched onto is 100% cotton!
I meant fabric
I don’t need ínstense blocks, I don’t need ínstense blocks…… that money off code is tempting though.
Hahaha when it comes to art supplies, the limit does not exist 😆
