That was a ridiculous pull. You looked good and showed you can play in this league without a doubt. Keep it up man, hope we see you starting again soon.
He looked good? Are we watching the same video this guys slower than a sloth and gives up rebounds like no other. Let’s in 2 goals on 6 shots yea I’d pull him too
@@derekpaddon9553the scoreboard is clearly just behind. There is very clearly more than 6 shots in the video lol. Not a great start but still an early pull after one unlucky bounce.

Thanks trav. Happy to see you’re at least on the bench for Mississippi and not getting healthy scratched. That’s progress and you’re in a position to succeed
Man why in the heck did they pull you!!!? It was a fluke goal and the backup let three in? You played well. Hopefully you'll get your redemption. Just keep working hard.
I can't believe they pulled you. The team was awful in front of you!! The first goal wasn't your fault at all and the second goal was just a freak lucky play. You proved you could play.
I’m a fan of Trav! I notice it’s always the same people that seem to say the most hateful stuff so I don’t pay much attention to that stuff. You mention that first goal, and that guy was wide open alone in front of Trav. That was clear! Bad defense there. But I thought Trav kinda gave up a meatball rebound for the guy. Which happens of course, I was a goalie at Trav’s level 25 years ago. 😂😳. So I understand that rebounds can happen no matter how well you can follow the puck. Trav was screened to begin with (again, nice defense), so he let that rebound get out and with that guy standing to his side wide open, there’s nothing that could be done. That’s just how I saw it though. I could be totally wrong. But I’m definitely not going to hate on this guy that’s trying to live out his dream for as long as he can! I’ve been there. It’s tough enough without the shi**y comments.
they don’t pull because the goalies bad, they pull the goalie to wake the players, and not have the goalie waste their energy on this game and to be ready for the next one they play
7:00 Props to Steph for the food. I don't care what team you play for there's always an awesome hockey mom / nice lady /super fan there to take care of the boys and make sure they're well fed. We salute you!
Not trying to be a hater, just see a lot of people pumping Travs tires in the comments, I think he needs someone to be honest with him. I’ll be honest, He didn’t play terrible, for the most part actually played pretty good. But the pull was totally justified. Both goals are travis’ fault, the first is just simple rebound control, it’s “pro”hockey, you can’t kick rebounds straight onto guys sticks, someone should be on that player back door, but good goaltenders are aware of that and also have the ability to control their rebounds, shooting pucks into the slot is just not good rebound control. I’ve seen some people saying the second goal was a “freak accident” and that is simply not true. Trav was moving slow and being lazy and he payed for it. Anytime the puck is in your end as a goalie you need to be ready for a shot on net, it’s that simple, trav fell asleep, was lazy with getting to the post and he payed for it, nobody to blame but himself. Not trying to be a hater, his team didn’t play well in front of him, but if he actually wants to succeed those are two goals u can’t let in.
Congrats Trav! I thought you looked really good in the footage and don't really understand why you were pulled. Wolves were being horribly out-shot up to that point. Can't be blamed for second goal... those things happen to the best of them. Looking forward to the next start ... and it's coming soon.
@@sherlockholmes60 considering where the shot came from and the sequence of the play, the fault has to lie with his teammates who didn’t collect the loose puck and allowed the shot to be made in the first place. Trav made the right play but the angle was against him. The defense should never have allowed the shot.
Thought he played well to that level and could play even better if given the reps.. looked like your d were struggling along with the forwards to have that many shots and penalties in just the first?
@@jeffhaggarty9879Disagree. He slides over to make what he’s expecting to be a one timer on a 2 on 1 chance. Puck gets deflected away by the defensemen, and the shooter just makes a 1 in 100 shot that sneaks through. That transition also to the post rvh is one of the hardest to do in hockey without exposing holes. The only way Trav makes that save is if he dives for it (might still not make it) which leaves him out of position for a rebound chance. Just an unlucky play all around. Certainly didn’t deserve the hook given how he’d played the whole game before that play.
@@jeffhaggarty9879you hate all over this guy in multiple posts wheres your goaltending history? Do you play? Are you a coach? What are your credentials
Good job man - you've had quite a long journey. Been watching you for a while and you have improved tremendously over the years. Now, I'm no professional by any stretch - but a goalie at least. If you're interested in constructive feedback from your audience - this is the one thing that I did notice When you kick out a big rebound or make a blocker save and the puck is still alive but you have a bit of time, you slide to almost each and every rebound. When you have the time I think that you should try and get back to your feet and into the play. It is a lot easier to make the save up on your feet with your feet set rather than sliding over to the rebound at the hashmarks. If they make a quick pass while you're sliding towards the rebound then you're wide open on the other side and have to try and backside edge back again to recover to try and make that save. If you're on your feet for those you can read and react to the play more efficiently. Just a thought that I had - if you agree, great! If you don't, well that is fine too! Like I said, I'm a nobody on a couch watching your vids on a Sunday morning 😆 Cheers man
Coach is a tool for that pull man. Look at the other goals that went in on the other two tendies, Trav was the best of the three! Keep your head up man!
One thing you need to implement in your practice time is the “oh sh!t there’s no way I can slide over to make that save” movement. I’ve used it with goalies I’ve coached over the years and it was first taught to me as a 14 year old and something we always worked on until I retired at 25. It’s basically a Hasek style of play when technique can’t get you where you need to be. You could have made a save on that first one but chose technique over desperation.
Experienced Advanced beer league FPHL move right here at 4:51 🤣 love it! I used to do that a lot but realized there's not a huge benefit to trying to "Slow him down" a little bit to give your man behind the net a little extra time. The last time I did this to help my D out he panicked when the guy rushed around me at the top of the crease and the D shot the puck through the crease off the back of my skate and in.... dope. I got blamed for it though. I said screw it then last time I try to help you guys.
IMO (been watching for a long time) you getting pulled was very weird but i am thinking had more to do with your delay of game 😬 in the first 5 minutes of the first than anything. You just didn't seem to be set most of the time and very slow to react. For someone claiming your size as your assest, time after time, what is your end position after a goal? 4/5 is the splits or the sliding splits. Which means your positioning is either bad, you aren't controlling your own rebounds or your size doesn't make up for your speed. I watched the last two games of Watertown (their coverage is palatable compared to Miss) just to see if they made the right move. Both Rosensweig and Bouchard are playing very well with Bouchard letting in just 1 on 40 (.975 SV%) the entire game against a more Suped up Black Bears last night. When you are told to trim the fat, sadly Trav, they made the right move. Best of luck in your next start, and don't think of me taking jabs, just giving you some constructive criticism. You are making improvements but you just aren't capitalizing on your chances and in the end, that's where they count the most.
So in the influx of positive affirmations comes through, bottom line is winning and to say you are undefeated is a reach. Your movements in the crease are not as smooth or quick as your peers and you flop around once you are out of position instead of being square and closing holes with your “large man” body. As a coach it is obvious you are not as technically sound and there is no upside to keeping you in the game when a more seasoned/trained goalie is on the bench. You just don’t have starter experience in any league you played in and that is a big deal, until you steal a game or two, you will not be the first choice, so just win a game and gain some momentum, just my 2 cents
Nice video. At 4:52, you are facing the puck handler and skating backwards to the top of the crease. Why aren't you facing your body forward? The guy with the puck is not your concern and you want to be deep in the net so he can have better options to pass the puck up ice. Even if you didn't run into that guy, you would have been at the top of the crease, and from a puck handler's point of view, you are taking away a cross ice option. To be specific, if the puck handler moves to the left of the goal, he could pass cross ice to the right side, or if the puck handler moves to the right of the goal, he could pass to the left side. If you are hanging out high in the crease, you are taking away a passing lane or you force the puck carrier to skate farther out to the side or up ice to get around you. Or worse case scenario, he passes it up and it ricochet's off your skate and into the goal, which has happened in the NHL. ruclips.net/video/q24w0OaXfa0/видео.html
Cool you got to do the jersey off your back thing to remind you what it's really all about. Tough outcome for the game, tough pull, but that's hockey. I had sort one of like that on me today, stupid bank off my pads from behind the net as I was trying to get back to my post. That was dumb lucky and no need to pull you on that. Keep positive buddy!
As a coach you need to look at how the goal breaks down.. where did you lose possession of it? How did they get through the neutral zone, and how did they get the time for the shot in the d zone?
And as a coach you have to consider the other two goalies that are better overall. More consistent, better positioning, and faster. How you have a goalie this big who plays that slow and that deep is a shocker. They love him due to his social media reach.
How’d the skipper pull you In a 6 min clip of the 1st period there was 7-8 high danger chances turned away by some great positional saves and lateral movement great game buddy great video keep going brother 👍
Looked good in your start. They should have gave you a chance. Good thing they won when they pulled you. Thanks for the content. Hopefully you get in to some rotation and get a few games in your new spot.
You were getting SHELLED in the first period. 13 shots on goal is quite a bit that early in my opinion. You handled it well with the crowding in the front. Team defense just didn't seem to be with you at all. Still, a great first start considering!
I’ve watched this guys videos on and off for a number of years now. I’m not trying to hate or be negative, but I think Trav for his performance and hockey career it would probably be best to put the cameras away for awhile. I understand it’s a stream of income and attention for his business of RUclips and his hockey. I just think coaches, teams, and players would like and treat him better if the cameras and RUclips connected to a team was cut off. ✌️
He's only there because he brings that attention unfortunately. Guy is stuck. Either cut this off and focus on hockey (where he will not be getting the support and will need a regular job) or he continues as is and is not getting respected by this league.
The stats on the FPHL website are wrong from his first start with Miss. He is only 8.00 GAA but I fear his SV% might be worse. He got pulled after he let 4 in (rightfully so, he looked bad) but they put him back in after his counterpart let in 4...just to let in 4 more (4x4x4 makes weird houses). And if you look, he hasn't seen the ice since.
@@OneFoxTwoFox if you let in 8 goals in 2 periods, your GAA is 12…so 8 in the amount he played makes it 11.25. It’s not that complicated, it’s actually correct

Was watching the game on youtube. Was a BS pull forsure. You were playing very well, no reason to pull you. Good on getting traded cause it looked like another team who feigned support for you for the simple reason of new supporters. Will wait to comment on the first start for Mississippi but keep working hard.
I’m the first person to give you grief but have to say pulling you was a bad move. You made some really good saves that actually kept your team in it. Short leash.
I did not understand why they pulled you, the second goal was a bit unlucky but nothing to pull you out in my opinion. Maybe they were scared because of the big loss before. Solid game Trav
You always worry about your gear when you need to worry about your athleticism! Learn how to play goalie and quit worrying about having the newest beat gear! It ain’t gonna make ya any better
second goal was just unlucky. Your technique and positioning is rock solid you just need to keep working on your quickness but looked like you belong hopefully with new team you get some more opportunities
Yeah, funny thing is Trav have actively avoiding the subject. I asked about it before, and he kept deleting my question. So much for his "I say what I think" act.
You don't get a lifetime ban from the OHL for no reason. I have firm standards and morals and when I believe something is wrong, I speak up. I was told by management I was in the wrong and needed to apologize. I told them to trade me.... never thought in my life I would be traded for believing we should have respect for women in the community and treat them like human beings but here I am in Mississippi. Go SEA wolves.
You definitely got pulled too early and I don't think that 2nd was your fault. This game is far behind anyways, focus on the future and keep that positive attitude bud. Hope the Sea Wolves will give you another start soon !
Granted the second goal was soft, but if you’re going to give a guy who you’ve scratched the entire season a chance then it should be a fair chance and not the hook after two goals.
Good start.. a little slow head movement wise when the pucks behind the net. Little things make a huge difference in this level of play, keep at her bud.. oh and second goal was soft.. 😂
The coaches pulled you way too early. If you had let in 4 or 5 early then I would have pulled you but you made some solid saves as from the footage it looked like Binghamton was dominating play and you kept the team in the game.
Trav! I COULD NOT BELIEVE you got pulled after goal #2. Goal #1 wasn't yours and even goal #2 was a bit quirky. With the level of saves you were making, I think pulling you was a HORRIBLE coaching decision. Anyway, you played a great game!
Do you play in net? Goal 1 was his fault, he let a rebound happen right out in front. He has to control those way better. Goal 2 was also his fault, poor positioning.
@@randovidupload9422 You are ridiculous! Look at the replays of goal #1. That was a kick save through traffic. You cant control that! He's lucky he got his leg out there in time to make the save. Your defence is leaving you out to dry badly lol. 5 min into the game and you had like 8 high danger chances. Can’t stop them all if they are little peppering you
BS that you got yanked after those 2 goals. #1 nothing you could do. #2 was a unfortunate goal that happens. You had several great saves prior , not off your game. Definitely not pull worthy!

You were getting SHELLED in the first period. 13 shots on goal is quite a bit that early in my opinion. You handled it well with the crowding in the front. Team defense just didn't seem to be with you at all. Still, a great first start considering!
Good games trav. Looking solid
@@thephotonepoch9759 yup, you’re speaking facts man. Hockey past minor hockey is a business and always will be
Looked good! Can’t wait to see you in the Mississippi uni!
“Marriage is like an unfunny, tense version of Everybody Loves Raymond, but it doesn’t last 22 minutes. It lasts forever.”
Little surprised you got the hook there. You were battling. Tells me what the coaching thinks about you.
you looked good out there. if you keep that up and improve even more it'll be a fun season
Beauty stop at 2:49 🤙
Can we just skip to the part where you are in Mississippi with a 11.25 GAA and a .811 SV%?
The stats on the FPHL website are wrong from his first start with Miss. He is only 8.00 GAA but I fear his SV% might be worse. He got pulled after he let 4 in (rightfully so, he looked bad) but they put him back in after his counterpart let in 4...just to let in 4 more (4x4x4 makes weird houses). And if you look, he hasn't seen the ice since.
What does your fphl goalie stats look like ?
@@brycegrozli9794Some know when it's time to move on...some keep pretending. That's the difference.
@@brycegrozli9794 Bro Trav is an absolute joke of a goaltender. You can pretend all you want that he’s not lol
@@OneFoxTwoFox if you let in 8 goals in 2 periods, your GAA is 12…so 8 in the amount he played makes it 11.25. It’s not that complicated, it’s actually correct
There’s some pretty good skaters in this league I’m surprised. I mean it’s obvious this is pretty credible hockey. You made some good saves bro
Sat behind trav and the at the river dragons game wish I could of seen him start still want my shout out mr trav lol and I do got to ask what's up with the bottle of mustard??? Lol
You looked like an athlete out there man💪
keep grinding and more starts
You played very well trav don’t listen to the hate. The goals you let in are goals all goalies let in nothing against your overall play. Shouldn’t have pulled you you kept your team in it for a long while
Trav, keep going!
Was watching the game on youtube. Was a BS pull forsure. You were playing very well, no reason to pull you. Good on getting traded cause it looked like another team who feigned support for you for the simple reason of new supporters. Will wait to comment on the first start for Mississippi but keep working hard.
What’s with that shot count. They fall asleep in the box? I counted 15 before the pull. The counter showed 6???
U looked pretty good there Trav, poor decision by the coach. Hopefully more opportunities coming your way.
I’m the first person to give you grief but have to say pulling you was a bad move. You made some really good saves that actually kept your team in it. Short leash.
Congratulations on the start
oh the fedzino it a real ride guy....
I did not understand why they pulled you, the second goal was a bit unlucky but nothing to pull you out in my opinion. Maybe they were scared because of the big loss before.
Solid game Trav
Is there no trapezoid rule in the Fed?
Christmas is coming the under is not looking good trav keep up the great manscape advertising....
Attaboy Trav! You deserve it man!
Wait im confused. Why did they pull you?
Not great coaches 😢
You always worry about your gear when you need to worry about your athleticism! Learn how to play goalie and quit worrying about having the newest beat gear! It ain’t gonna make ya any better
Lot of intense action
I agree with you, you shouldn’t have gotten the pull. Big credit bro ur attitude is good
Thank you brother!
second goal was just unlucky. Your technique and positioning is rock solid you just need to keep working on your quickness but looked like you belong hopefully with new team you get some more opportunities
As if Rosenzweig is another goalie on your team.. That kid was kicked out of the OHL for bullying and harassing teammates
I've never deleted any comments. Look at the comment section, it's full of comments I could delete but believe in free speech
@@trav4oilers So wait I'm out of the loop. Did your old team sign a d-bag with a terrible rep and you called him out on it?
@@trav4oilersThank you
You definitely got pulled too early and I don't think that 2nd was your fault. This game is far behind anyways, focus on the future and keep that positive attitude bud. Hope the Sea Wolves will give you another start soon !
"I want Stamkos!" 3:50 Stamkos at home
Tough luck getting pulled.
why did they pull is it preseason ?
Who coaches the Wolves -- Mike Babcock? "Get "Hollywood" outta there! I've seen enough!" The second goal was a fluke, but otherwise you played well.
why was josh rosenzwieg banned from the OHL?
Granted the second goal was soft, but if you’re going to give a guy who you’ve scratched the entire season a chance then it should be a fair chance and not the hook after two goals.
hell yeah
Why was that guy not even close to being covered? Were they on a PK?? Yes, the second one was more his fault but still a flukey goal.
Your defence is leaving you out to dry badly lol. 5 min into the game and you had like 8 high danger chances. Can’t stop them all if they are little peppering you
Your a beauty trav
Travs career going down like the titanic, and we all here for the ride 👀👀
Seems like Trav is just rearranging the deck chairs until the inevitable occurs, eh?
After he did Brian's dirty with that equipment scam I'm loving the sinking ship.
@@randovidupload9422 ok, I have to ask what did he do to Brian's? Never heard that one.
WHY DID THEY PULL YOU?!?!?!?!
BS that you got yanked after those 2 goals. #1 nothing you could do. #2 was a unfortunate goal that happens. You had several great saves prior , not off your game. Definitely not pull worthy!
Hey Travis! I'm a photographer with the River Dragons. I heard you were looking for pictures from warm ups. I sent you a message on instagram. I think I have one or two of you but I'll look for more too.
Keep it going 🥅🥅🥅
Coach has no faith. Looked like y’all were getting worked out there and coach pulls you after ywo. How about a word to the defenseman on why so many odd Man rushes and why no one’s tying up sticks on the door front
Definitely looked like you were gasping for air and looking out of shape.
BS pull in my honest opinion. Definitely want that second goal back but you gotta be allowed to work through a mistake. But oh well, head down keep working
Where you traded
Port Huron and then 45 minutes later to Mississippi.
@@OneFoxTwoFox thanks
Why did they pull you after 2 goals. One wasn’t on yourself, and the other was weird
No defense. Watertown just letting them freely crash the net. No cover on the back door.
You played good, not sure about the team tho lol
The coach yanked you too early
Trav i just think second goal was garbage first D let you hang ti dry a bit. In my opinion they didn’t need to pull you just yet!!! Keep up the great work and you’ll do great. 💚💚💚🇨🇦
What kind of a pull was that, you were playing really well kept the team in the game, you’ve definitely improved and belong in the league, the team in front of you was absolute garbage
mAde no sense then and now lol
Hook after 2? Leave it alone let the boys settle.
I thought you had an equipment malfunction with your skates when you were pulled no other reason for you to be pulled after two unlucky plays 🤦♂️
Great way to ruin a rookie's confidence, pull him after 2 goals!
Tough luck on that second goal :/
really harsh to get pulled after the 2nd goal....
Not when 1 out of the 2 goals is your fault, and your team hasn't even put 1 up on the board yet. Pro is a different animal, can't let up soft shit.
Lee Helen Martinez Mary White Margaret
That coach is kinda weird for pulling a goalie for who its his first start of the season for one bad bounce goal while therewasa couple PK's etc
I wonder if they knew he was being traded and pulled him so that he couldn't get injured before the trade could be finalized
idk why they're keeping you on such a tight leash, you looked fine in net and the first goal was really a defensive error. second goal was just a wtf play all around, can't be too mad about it but get back to that post faster
