always been curious about that sensor, i thought car would eventually compensate with cam position sensor to start, but haven't had the failure myself. with my 99 i have a semi aggravating almost-stall when first putting in drive or stepping on the brake right after gas, like when i have to abort entering an intersection. thought it could be a weak fuel pump but after my pump died and i replaced it i still have the gremlin. now im thinking the gremlin's in my ignition coils, which'd be nice since that's pretty easy to change.

I have a 1999 Lincoln Town Car it is setting up at 9 years I have not tried to crank it yet it has 72,000 Mi on it
Put some new sensors on it won't hurt the car and is inexpensive on ebay compared to auto stores
