The Church building must have thunder protection. On the roof let us fix many photovoltaic (PV) modules and generate electricity to light it and all houses in the compound.
Ankober Medhanialem church was established by Ras Wsene Seged, the father of King Salesilasse of Shoa who has finished the construction of the church. This is the church where Emperor Minlik II was anointed as king of Shoa. The church was destroyed by Thunder. Ever since it was not rebuild. Praise the lord and God bless all who have contributed to build it again.
Furthermore, I would like to comment , that the roof of the church has not any gutter to collect the rain water. Since water source is not available in the near area, one must use rain water collecting it during the rainy season of the year.
