    Hi Sati! Your videos are incredible! Just an idea: people would love to see a video where you delve into the process of preparation for entering FAANG companies as a mid/senior UX Designer. (I am based in EU) Share the materials you used(channels, books), the time required, and maybe throw in some behind-the-scenes details, as you always do! Online, this topic is a bit blurry.. If you're not planning on making such a video, could I consider you mentoring on this topic? Thanks a bunch!!

      Hi, Thank you for the fantastic suggestion! Exciting news - I'm currently writing a book that will encompass all this information. The plan is to publish it at the start of next year, and I will also create a video on this topic. In the meantime, I encourage you to book a mentoring session through my Buy Me a Coffee page: www.buymeacoffee.com/taschiba. This will be a great opportunity for us to delve into your personal questions in more detail. Looking forward to connecting with you!

    What questions do you typically get or anticipate in a case study presentation interview?

    • @ProductDesignTube
      @ProductDesignTube  4 месяца назад

      Typically, questions revolve around teamwork and the project's scale. If interviewers ask questions, it often means something wasn't clear in your presentation. This indicates a need to make your presentation more understandable

The situation might evolve in the future, but currently, I'm unable to manage both channels effectively. Thank you for your comment and interest! Please subscribe to this channel, as I'll be regularly posting new videos here from now on!

    That was a brilliant presentation! BTW, I have a serious question: How can I represent my UX case study in an effective way, considering my deafness and unclear speech issues? If you have a great idea about that, please tell me! I will appreciate it!

      Are you not wanting to use an interpreter? I have a colleague that uses an interpreter during meetings and it’s really helpful for everyone. Also, AI has come such a long way, you could get a voice AI to read notes for you if you want to go a different/unique route.

    • @ProductDesignTube
      @ProductDesignTube  3 месяца назад

      Hi! Great and very important question. When a deaf person is presenting a UX/UI case study during an interview, there are several effective strategies to consider to ensure clear communication and showcase your skills effectively:
      1. Accompany your presentation with written summaries or bullet points on each slide to guide the interviewer through your project. This helps in clarifying any points that might be missed during verbal communication.
      2. Leverage technology like real-time captioning services or speech-to-text apps during the presentation. This can help in bridging communication gaps if the interviewers are speaking.
      3. If you use sign language, consider requesting a sign language interpreter for the interview. Ensure the interpreter is familiar with technical terms related to UX/UI design to accurately translate any technical discussions.
      4. After presenting, invite questions in written form if that makes you more comfortable responding accurately and thoroughly.
      5. Prior to the interview, clearly communicate your needs to the hiring team to ensure they can provide the necessary accommodations for a smooth presentation.
      I hope this will help you!

    Hello
    I am in my final year of college (bachelors) and will be starting at Ford as a SWE (which I am grateful for considering the job market). However, in the past few weeks UI/UX has really peaked my interest. I think I have a natural aptitude for it (more than coding).
    How do I choose what should be my career? I am really confused :(

    • @ProductDesignTube
      @ProductDesignTube  5 месяцев назад

      Hi! Thank you for your question. You're not alone in questioning your career direction. I recommend starting to work as a Software Engineer to confirm whether it suits you, while also exploring freelancing as a UX/UI designer in your spare time. This dual approach will give you hands-on experience in both fields, helping you to clearly identify which path brings you the most satisfaction. With time and experience, you'll be able to make a more informed decision about which career to pursue long-term. I hope my advice proves useful to you. Good luck with your decision!

    Sadly, you're more likely to win awards for doing decent work for cool famous brands than great work for average unknown brands. It's very rare for the latter to get the publicity for the award companies (they are for profit companies, not charities) unless it's exceptional and will generate publicity for the awards.

    • @ProductDesignTube
      @ProductDesignTube  Месяц назад

      You might be right, but the company where I won all these awards isn't well-known at all.
