The thing I like about Dante and Vergils Divide hate is that while dantes Go to a demonic then angel voice, Vergils just all demonic voice which fits. Dante hasn't embraced his demonic side, but Vergil has embraced his demonic side as much as he can.

Here's my thoughts: DMC1's Seeds of Love is more of Eva or Trish's theme, but I'll agree that the HR/HM Arrange slaps hard and felt ideal for Trish as well as her character. DMC3's Taste The Blood felt like it taunts the player as they would likely screw up, either from Dante or a demon's perspective. Divine Hate's arranges between Dante and Vergil represent the former retaining his humanity after gaining DT, and the latter being more intense and embracing his demonic blood. Lock and Load(Blackened Angel Mix) is also good despite being my least favorite out of the Lock and Load's remixes imo, but proves that Dante mastered his skills so far in addition to the style changing timed with the player's input. The Time Has Come/Shall Never Surrender were perfect on portraying Nero's personality, but also his romantic relationship with Kyrie(and eagerness to protect her from demons). DmC Devil May Cry had very decent vocal tracks, however they're licensed from Combichrist. Also, for DMC The Animated Series, and the Pachinko games, Mermaid Rock/Future In My Hands, Burn in Hell, Dream Out Loud, You Have No Clue, and Devil Moon will always be bangers; but DMC5 continued the recurring theme within the franchise's characters splendidly. Devil Trigger even mentioned Nero's line after gaining his DT "I will endure the exile" prior to the first verse, hence why Nero channeled his demonic birthright and it's his story for the remainder of DMC5. Crimson Cloud teased the plot twist, but in my opinion the male and female vocals felt like contrasts between V and this Nightmare Trio, as well as Urizen/Vergil. Subhuman despite being out of place for Dante makes sense cuz he still had a goofy and cocky personality whilst having the form of a terrifying devil who's not afraid to overthrow a czar of hell. Bury The Light enveloped Vergil yearning for more power to the point where he abandoned his humanity after splitting himself into two. The instrumentals from the first and second verse really gave me vibes to The Birthday Massacre(aside from DMC3's Taste The Blood and Divine Hate reminding me a lot of KMFDM, Suffer with Skinny Puppy no pun intended, and The Time Has Come with Chemlab), and the lyrics toward the end with the song's title "Bury the light deep within" mirror Devil Trigger's "Embrace the darkness that's within me", as Nero is Vergil's son you know, let alone they, V, and Dante's connections.
I didn't know about the artist for Vergil's theme. It makes sense tho because the song has way too many call backs and little references to his personality than I could imagine. To me it didn't make sense how good it was because I think in 5, Vergil isn't a consistent character. I never thought of Vergil being butt hurt about their mom not looking for him. I mean I don't think Vergil was even told that their mom hid Dante. I think in the comic he just assumed both were dead. And the song perfectly, at least to me, depicts Vergil's motivation to get stronger and "I am reclaimer of my name, born in flames, I have been blessed, my family crest is a demon of death". He's trying to prove to be a son of Sparda by getting stronger and in the comic I could've sworn as a kid he swears to never let something like that (his family getting slaughter) to happen again. Being born in flames as that's where his hunger for power came to be as he saw his house burning down. I love the song and how it feels like Vergil, but it's a shame the game and story itself didn't really give it that feeling. He just feels even more whiney. Like the line of, if we switched places, would we be the same? Like dude I feel like that doesn't matter. You're whole drive was just to get stronger in general because you wanted to fuck up mundus yourself.
Awesome video dude l love devil may cry tracks because they are very layered thats what l love about them my favorites are devils never cry and bury the light they are dante and vergil's themes to me and since l'm a vergil fan boy bury the light is my favorite song ever it just embodies everything l love about dmc and vergil😊
