Very nice year for the Eldo. My father worked for Raines Cadillac in Smithtown in the 1970's and probably drove this car at one point! They rode like silk. Amazingly smooth.
I was 22 when I bought '73 Eldo. Oh those good times of 1970's! Yet on the weekends we had a fight with my brother (he had Jag XJ6) , who gets to go to a disco with our '65 VW, to see which girls go out with you because of you, not because of the car. 😅
I've had a couple old Cadillacs, never a convertible though. That rear brake light indicator was always at the top of the rear window, dead center, so you'd see it in the rear view mirror. Just blows my mind that Cadillac would actually put that doo-dad on the convertible. Also I'm not a huge fan of the 70's Eldorado, but man this car is drop dead stunning, I'd imagine that it didn't look this good sitting on the showroom floor in 1973. Love the "Jimmy Bond" tuxedo color scheme. Its not James Bond, its his impeccably dressed 6'7" 300lb American 4th cousin lol.
No body or paint guy ever said black was hard to spray. What they say is it's harder on the body work as the color will show any flaw, so the body panels have to be perfect.
i had a 73 coupe, loved that car, probably my favorite of all i've owned, the 73 has the most short trunk long hood, the 71-72had shorter nose, and 74 had a little longer tail than the 73, and the 75 then had a longer back end than the 74. funny thing i never liked the long hood short trunk, it was what bugged me the most about my 73
I owned one, It was and is still my favorite of any I have ever owned.
Beautiful '73 Caddy 😍
Gotta love these old land yachts.

Amazing car and restoration.
Beautiful Caddy ❤
Beautiful Caddy! ❤
I have a black Trans Am and I agree on the color. The worst for maintenance, but fits every car.
Beautiful
Perfect additions.
Such a beautiful two door cruiser with a great restoration. I would drive that daily.

Nice looking Eldo !
Black Beuty 🇺🇸🤙🏻
1974 Eldorado was last year it had fender skirts. Then it went with square headlights and open rear fenders.
Fabulous.
Thanks Mr. Dennis...How ya doin' !

I want 1 😮
The 500 was introduced into the Eldorado in 1970 and remained an Eldo exclusive until 1975

Very cool 🤙 I prefer the 71-72 myself as the front bumper is recessed more than th 73-74
My Dad had an Eldo same year, 7 mph.
It only went 7 MPH? I think you mean it only got 7 MPG?
Love yu
Never a fan of the '71-'78 land-barge Eldorados. This specimen, however, is almost enough to change my mind
Those taillights have a slight resemblance to the Imperial tail lights of maybe the mid to late 60's.
Take the front end of a Impala and the back end of a Monte Carlo and bingo; a Caddy!
Very surprised to find out it's front wheel drive!
My parents had a 71 teal color with white interior, it was a cruzer, untill someone hit them head on .totaled it,but tks goodness parents were ok
These were front wheel drive
Weird my dad had a 73 Buick Electra Limited and it was rear wheel drive
The Eldorado and the Toronado were GM’s only front wheel drive models at the time.
Had the same one but sadly in not the best shape.
The painted hubcaps would look better.
Absolutely never a white interior....
