I’ve got the Rodecaster Pro 2, great big of kit. My question is will it be able to power a pair of sennheiser hd800s or would an amp still be required?
Question: With so many USB mics offering software routing, eq etc. Why do you think ppl are overlooking Rogue Amoeba's Audio Hijack and Loopback software, Yes it can't apply DSP on a device itself (like the NT Mini) but with any other setup and (as always) a little of time it can achieve routing, eq, compression etc etc. FD: I own the software but do not work for the company or am affiliated to it in anyway
Probably because it isnt well known. To illustrate my point...I have never heard of it. Not necessarily the benchmark of being popular...especially since my standpoint on usb mics is clear...but still. That is an interesting point though...and might make for an interesting video
Really appreciate your videos. I use the RCP 1 unit in several studios for interviews w people who aren’t regularly on podcasts. I’m concerned that the latency in the RCP 2 will be a distraction and detract from content quality. Hosts can get used to it I’m sure. I’m worried about the interviewees. Thoughts?
@@DarkCornerStudios hello i did called , no one answer me, finally after many repetitive emails, instructing me to reset the machine they asked me to return it, bu i can not return it because i drive a truck for a living and i have no way to receive it back. thanks so much for your reply, i enjoy you channel. saludos
Thanks for answering my question. To clarify my use case- I do a solo podcast and to now I have been doing mixing and EQ in my computer’s DAW. I was wanting down the line to have a mixer -> plug into P4 -> P4 connected into my computer as a USB audio interface.
Cables dangling all over the place like spaghetti = NASA TECHNOLOGY :-P
That’s what I do, and create podcasts for audio and videos also. A beautiful piece of technology. Wonderful video here.
Great video! Thanks for the advice about voice over work on the RCP2!

What latency?
Several RUclipsrs are reporting a slight latency on the RCP 2. Curtis Judd reports 6 ms of latency for the headphone and monitor/line outputs.
@@ConsumerTeamPete up to 20ms is imperceptible to the human ear.
Basically up to 10 ms is considered incredibly fast.
I wouldn't worry about it
Cables all over the place? Sounds like one of my dj gigs.
I do need to get better at it...though the point still stands.
It doesn't matter
You seemed a little salty on the first question but in a good way. Nice video.
I have been rather grumpy lately...lol
@@DarkCornerStudiosI like it but I have social anxieties.
Did a live remote last night, it was cursed, the only thing that worked flawlessly was my P4
Yeah...that thing is a beast for the price

0:43 - Do you really think it's a wise idea to insult your viewers?
