i picked up my raptor 2 days ago it was my first time ever driving a manual ATV an i will say it was pretty easy to learn thanks to your videos. an the raptor is very forgiving. i had to do some high speed runs to get my quick shifting down
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL yeah the tricky part is when you have to rev it… say you’re in 3rd and need to get up a hill 2nd. Would you rev it a bit to keep speed or will that make you wheelie?
I bought a bike in December and my buddy fix it up good. I finally got to ride it and i watched the old video about 50 times. Going from a stop is the hardest part but i almost got shifting down. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Hows your heart doing anyway’s?

Great video gave me a lot of new knowledge, by the way is is true that if you start a bike without the clutch pulled in that it will wear the clutch even more or no? Oh and also what is the best way of getting better fuel mileage on a 2-stroke?
Awesome!!! Glad I was able to help!! So anytime you have the clutch pulled in while in any gear except for natural there is some friction between the clutch plates and the clutch basket therefore it'll wear out faster then having it in neutral. Starting it with the clutch pulled in more than anything is hard on the starter as the starter is not only having to turn over the motor but it is also working against the friction of the clutch.
got a 2000 yamaha blaster 200, my first EVER 4 wheeler and im getting used to it and my dads mad at me bc i cant get used to takeoff, but hes been riding since he was 4 yrs old
That's awesome! That's a great quad! That's understandable, just easy on the throttle and let the clutch lever out very slowly and you'll get the hang of it very quickly! Good luck! 🤘😁
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL the other important thing that you should tell him if he ever owned it two-stroke before as if not it's better to start with a four-stroke on a four wheeler
I let off and as I'm in the motion of letting off, the crankcase releases pressure, allowing me to instantly shift. So yes, the second part of your question is the way.
@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL ok, thanks a lot, and yes, u are a really great teacher. I'm sorta knew to riding a clutch, but u explain the mechanics of it very well
One of my friends just fixed up my wheeler for me its a old Yamaha not sure what year... we are customizing it now but i would like to know when you do your racing how do you slow in your gears really quick mine tends to backfire but it is old lol,
I'm applying the brakes while engine breaking. Usually you won't catch that I'm using the brakes because I'm using the back brake pedal. Does this answer your question or did I interpret it wrong?
I'm sure this is a super noob question but if I have an underpowered quad, weigh a little more and cant slowly release the clutch to move into first gear without throttling, will it hurt burn the clutch if I throttle up a little and and slowly let off the clutch? Would it be better to do this in 5 seconds or 10 seconds?
Question.. so lets say im in a trail and have to ride on either 1st or 2nd gear… i feel like sometimes i have to press the clutch so it doesnt stall and at the sametime play with it while giving a little bit of throttle (you mentioned it as feathersomething on dif video) So is that wrong? Since you mentioned i would be buening the clutch.. what can i do about it?
Great explanation on ATV and shifting gears!!! Man I wish I lived down south… I could shoot my guns and (not at the same time… but you get my drift) ride ATV’s and dirt bike’s!!! In NY you’ll get chased by cops and they’ll impound your wheel’s
Oh man that sucks! From my understanding New York has some beautiful countryside and the city is a sight to see, but there's no way in hell I'd live there with the liberal law that they have.
Please guide me, my father, I have a 125 ATV. Why does it happen that when I want to go straight, the ATV actually goes sideways, as a result it hits a trash can. what should I do sir? Kindly ask for tips🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm very familiar as I had an R6 at one point in first gear did 83 mph. The reason the gears are much shorter on an off-road machine is because they can gain more explosive low end performance while not needing to exceed much over 80 mph. A street bike doesn't require all that much low end in first gear and then has a very close ratio after that to help keep its power while over 100 mph.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL ahhhhh makes sense! These things are so similar yet complete opposites, on my crocket to do a quick 180 you just turn the handlebars & stab the back break, NOT ON A QUAD!!! 🤣 thanks for the reply, love your videos.
(I have a 392 4mil vp race fuel) when climbing I'm only getting full power @ 5,500 / 6k to 9k-10k but really 6,500 to 8,500 / 9k rpm, is that normal? Because with keeping it in the power band up hill I over heat ( 210°f to 230°f depending on how long or how steep it is )
Hatfield and Mccoy trails, I have a few videos of what I talking about. I am just learning how to ride a full race banshee( this is my first real banshee, long story) . I've had other bikes with some upgrades but never a full blown race bike like I do now. any help would be appreciated 🙏 thank you!
Yes that's normal for a Banshee to make power later in the rpm range. If you're overheating I would look into a larger aftermarket radiator. If you already have one then perhaps the engine is running too lean and you need a bigger jet in the carb.
Hello, I need to know ... How I know if the temperature has become very high and I must turn it off??? for banshee 350 + Believe me, I don't speak English fluently because I'm Arabic, but I know a lot from you. Thank you my friend.
It's easy every time you going to be shifting you got to be on the high RPMs at the moment you let go the gas shifted and go back to the gas and at that gear go back to the high RPMs and at the moment you let go the throttle shifted same thing when it comes to downshifting but downshifting you got to give a throttle and release the throttle and shift it down bring the RPMs higher again release the throttle and shift it downshift again then give him more gas and then let go the throttle and down shift there again right at the same time you let go of the throttle
Your cool But advance riders or on another level they will flat out make that banshee scream quick shifting no clutch you can’t win separating your clutches
