    Hi from France ! I saw your videos for the first time a few years ago, when I was injured, and I need to say thank you. You are part of the people that helped me becoming pain free when countless doctors kept telling me to rest and stop weightlifting/running. Your work is precious.

    We always think stretching is the answer and whatever aches will pop into place. Muscle strengthening specific to the area is not something grained into us. These helpful videos rock to get rid of area pain.

    Thank you - I found the table top exercise and flies the most beneficial because it feels like I’m building strength to keep my head upright 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Several years ago I had severe hip & leg pain. Was seeing chiropractor 2 to 3 times a week but no long-term relief. Finally listened to friend & went to her physiotherapist. Guess what, I had no core muscle strength; my hip was rotating forward etc. He gave me exercises (which I did as told), and pain went away in a very short time. Now I do the exercises weekly just to maintain core muscles. I am going to try your exercises for shoulders & neck as too many long hours in front of computer has taken its toll. I like the way you explain things clearly.

    Recommend the Egoscue exercises for neck as well. I didn't realize that a lot of issues can be related to hip function and after I started doing hip/glute exercises along with neck/shoulder exercises was able to progress further with my chronic neck pain. Getting stronger is definitely the way to go for pain management if it's not some acute injury but chronic pain that appeared over time. Best of luck to all suffering this is a long process but it does get better if you do the exercises and get stronger and more aware of all of your body's muscles.

    I have a long neck and bad eye sight. So I would always lean my neck Forward and downward to see my screen/book better. So I have this posture problem. Definitely will do this to improve my health and appearance.

    If you have lots of problems from the neck down is it best to try and target one area first (like the neck) and work your way down your body once you have helped correct one area? I hope that makes sense. I am not really sure where to start. Thank you.

    My parents definitely took part in my posture being fuckt (patting on the back to make me straighten up which only made me counteract the kyphotic tendency with hyperlordosis).
    Little did they know having to fix my posture would later prompt me to get educated in this area and terrorise them with daily exercise every time I'm home (especially dad who doesn't want to exercise but always complains about his back).

    I find when I am on my yoga mat stretched out flat it takes some time for my head to relax enough to touch the mat after other parts been touching for 2mi or so. I will do theses exercises 8:49

    Hi, Matt! Thank you so much for this!!! I wanted to ask if you could do a video with tips on how to reduce and prevent migraines? I have chronic migraine and have tried everything. I have a really bad back hunch and am doing these exercises. I suspect that the hunch may be partly to blame for my migraines. Any suggestions in addition to these exercises?

      Oddly enough, I also have a really bad back hunch and get chronic migraines, I'd never considered that they could be linked 🤔

    What if your forward head posture caused your bones to move in cervical spine? I’ve had multiple surgeries on my spine and now I have an extremely weak neck. Will this help or is it too late? Surgeon suggests spinal fusion but I don’t want fourth cervical spine surgery,

    • @Uprighthealth
      @Uprighthealth  3 года назад

      Impossible to say for your specific instance. Suffice to say: once things are fused, they don't get unfused. I would NEVER let anyone fuse anything in my spine unless it was 100% ABSOLUTELY LIFE-SAVINGLY NECESSARY.

    i have this problem that my jaws hurt (i think I constantly clench my jaws) and I try your exercises because I think my jaws for some eason compensate for my weak back muscles. But during the stretches I feel the tension in my jaws, I try not to but I just can't, it's like my jaws don't know how to relax.. any tips?

    I don't understand the Posterior Neck Exercise. If one has forward head wouldn't the back neck muscles already be strong from fighting gravity all day?

    I just now discovered your videos...1 1/2yrs after having c5-c7 fused. I had full range of motion before and after. Still have the hunchback neck. But it seems like the pain is worse. At least before surgery I had days without pain. Not so now. Can I still do these stretches? I have fibromyalgia which I do know causes inflammation to settle there and I really feel that as well. Really want to stretch the muscles out but don't know if I can.

    Hi Matt, hope you are well. Just a quick question, you mention body signals, what are these?, how do you tell which signal are saying this is dangerous and which ones are just signal of weakness and tightness. Do you have any advice on this or links? Shane
