They are! I've put the link for Jampot Glitter in the video description if you want to treat yourself, though I'm not an affiliate for them so I don't have a discount code for you. Their prices are very sensible anyway :)
This is absolutely beautiful ❤ A few tips to make placing the rhinestones a little bit less fiddly would be to use a wax tip pencil. Not as fiddly as the tweezers 😉 another helpful tip is starting your rhinestones at the base or edge of your project and working your way to the middle of the top😊
This is beautiful. It's frustrating trying to use any kind of crystals in resin because it wants to mute the refraction. Seems like you were able to keep it tho. 👏
It's awesome stuff - I'd been asked if it worked on porous surfaces like Eco Pour - I was pretty sure it would :) Let's Resin do an actual 5 second cure UV glue, I need more but they are out of stock right now
Thank you for this video. I just started using Aqua Cast. I am curious, you seal first before you add anything to the pieces? And what about stickers, paint or temporary tattoos?
This is Eco Pour rather than Aqua Cast but I think you'd find it similar as regards the make in this video. I didn't seal these as the UV resin will do that for me in this make. You could seal the back of course. Yes I have tattoos on the to-do list and have already done paint on Eco Pour as well as stickers. Those videos are both in my Resin Alternatives playlist :)
So nice! Great idea. What I was getting at last week on Claire’s channel is this :). Let’s say you make a piece out of uv resin or you used uv resin on top of regular resin and you make a mold of those pieces. My experience was that the mold came out all gloopy. It’s like there’s a reaction between the let’s resin silicone and the uv resin. I used let’s resin silicone and j diction uv. Have you had that happen?
No never. As long as the resin has cured properly ( I leave it 24 hours to make sure and wouldn't proceed if there's even the tiniest bit of stickiness) then silicone should never react to it. You don't mention what UV resin you use - I use Apex or Let's Resin, and have made moulds as you describe loads. I'm not sure why you're getting that happen sorry
Thank you so much. I did mention that it was JDiction uv and lets resin silicone. I'm conducting a test tomorrow. You wait 24 hours... is that after curing the uv?
no problem. I don't use JDiction products. To be honest for mould making I usually use Epoxy for the originals anyway as it sets hardest. But I've never had the issue you describe on the odd occasion I've used UV
@@miniscenesgb I have a small mold (which is matte finish) so I used UV to make it shiny and took a mold of it. That's when I had my problem. But I've done two little epoxy squares. Coated one with Let's resin UV and one with JDiction. I'll try making a mold from both of them to see if Let's Resin UV gives me the same problem.
Wow,Ms Tracey, what a genius idea to use UV resin 🤩🤩.Now even eco pour jewelleries can be made more shiny and stylish 😍😍😍😍💜
Yes! Thank you!
Made it look beautiful Tracey, useful video 🎉🎉
Glad you liked it
Beautiful eco pour heart charm and you made it even more beautiful Ms Tracey 😍😍💜💜.Love your idea of making the eco pour jewelleries more beautiful 😍 🤩
Thanks so much 😊
I'm loving the Guinea pig interludes ❤❤❤
Beautiful crystals
Lol Fudge always steals the show. I vary them though - we also have Isopod and fish interludes :)
That worked great. I think the top coat was probably needed to help secure the crystals. Looks wonderful Tracey. 💖
They did seem pretty secure to be honest but the top coat made sure. and it glossed them over so they look almost like bubbles :)
Love these ❤. May I say, anyone who has a glitter things playlist is just the resiner for me. 😊
Lol yes. I think we're all glitter crazy
Being a big fan of bling that I am,love❤❤ this piece.
Glad you like it
Those gems are stunning!!! Xx

Hi Tracey very cute idea 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
You're welcome :) I'm sure it can be done way better than that but for the sake of just showing it can be done I think it worked
How beautiful. I've never seen anyone put resin over crystals so this was really helpful. It looks fabulous!!
Thank you!!!

Glad it was helpful! It does smooth their surface but you end up with like iridescent bubbles :)
@miniscenesgb Thank you. I just made a keychain for my niece with rhinestones. My very first rhinestone project Thanks to You!!!

That is spectacular, I love the rhinestones x ❤ thank you Tracey xx❤
Glad you like them!
This is so BEAUTIFUL 😍. You can't go wrong with crystals. Fudge is a worthy opponent when it comes to the camera lol 😆 ❤ This is Gail btw.
Lol thanks Gail
@@miniscenesgb you're welcome 😊
Lovely gems 💎 worked out great.😊
Thank you! 😊

Thanks for the info!
loving the gems and what you have done here 😍
Thanks, it was actually fun to do :)
Super cute!❤ Hi fudge!
glad you like it. I was keen to see if it worked, so simple. And yes Fudge always steals the show lol
Real nice Tracey 😊
Thanks Marcy
Beautiful. I like the crystals, worked great for you!
Thank you!
Those are gorgeous crystals!
They are lovely. they have a range of colours and sizes now too
@@miniscenesgb That's awesome! Do they ship internationally? I'm in Idaho Untied States. The clarity and colors are beautiful!
Sooo cool! Thanks for all your experiments 🎉
You are so welcome!
Thanks again for sharing your tips. Very useful. ❤

Yes, it's worked well, I'm at how it turned out. those crystals are fab
Very pretty, I might have to embellish my eco pieces ❤
It's quite therapeutic to do :)
Loving ❤the bling bling… I’m doing one with a skull… still at it after 2 months 😅
Oh that will take forever! Should look amazing though I look forward to seeing it
Pretty! I want one 😃. Great video, I'm going to have to try it. 😍
Go for it!
Love the colours the crystals are throwing off and def needed the topcoat i think
Yeh it works with or without - I was surprised the top coat didn't spoil them. It's a rather nice effect I think
This looked very pretty
Glad you like it :)
IMO the crystals looked clearer with out the uv on top x
works both ways to the naked eye, just an option :)
I always use uv resin to stick things 😊

Adorable 💕
I was wondering if you could put the crystals upsidedown..
😊
Glad you like it - not sure what you mean? the back of them is plan?
Wouldn’t flat backs have been easier ? Cool idea though it has to be said Tracey.
Can we have sound with Fudge pretty please.
They are flat backs :) Yes if he's chirping I will put the sound on :)
that's really pretty. question: will Eco Pour pick up mica powder from a mould?
not terribly well. with resin, mica gets absorbed into the surface, with eco casting powders it sits on the surface and therefore comes off.

Tracey did you seal the eco poor piece first?
No, the UV Resin will seal them and as I say in the video, you could seal the backs if you wanted
