In my opinion Dave's farm was in the top 5 best RUclips channels at the time. I would love to hear some of the untold stories of things that happened at the farm over the years.
It's been dead for a long time, great content back in the day. Everything must come to am end. Good luck Dave. Been a fan since the beginning, thanks for the entertainment. Cheers
When he used to say "it's alive!" And do the crazy laugh. I miss that shit. It would be cool to see some old school videos of you starting cars or whatever. Just to feel that sense of hanging out with you like the old days. Even a tour of the farm and going over some memories would be cool.
@@jamest6850 I don’t care about those ignorant haters honestly David Rock is a nice guy he never did nothing wrong. The haters should just mind their own business what is with people out there today? Like really life is so short
Been watching your content since way back when Dave. I stumbled upon this channel almost a year back. And I was overjoyed to see you again. But somehow I only saw this video today. I cant express how much your technical videos on how to fix stuff helped me to become who I am today. Im 30 years old already. I fix all my own stuff. Weld my cars and have fun in the forest in my Lada Niva 4x4. I cant explain it but this video brought on to me a feeling of nostalgia. Like visiting a place long forgotten. A feeling of what great times used to be. Anyway. I hope youre doing okay and keep uploading more videos. Loved your side cutting lawnmover death machine. Greetings from Latvia!
This feels like a very bittersweet but long anticipated closure. After years of wondering what happened it’s nice to kinda put it to rest at least knowing Dave is doing well. Agreed on the nostalgia tours and stuff going forward if you’re up to it btw think that would be fun to reminisce. Years of entertainment corrupting my then young mind in all the right ways, loved every minute of it. Cheers too the good life sad to know David’s farm will never be what it once was but happy to see you doing great!
You have a lot of knowledge Dave, and I always enjoyed your instructional videos giving tips and explaining how things work etc... More of those, if/when you feel like making them would be great to see. All good things come to an end as they say, I have fond memories of watching the videos back in the day, and I still watch them from time to time and get a kick out of seeing those old cars. Still remember the first video I watched and was hooked from then!
Dave you always have a special place in my heart, loved watching your vids about 10 years ago if not longer. Thanks for teaching me all you have. You enjoy life doing what your doing just glad to see you back
Welcome back Dave. OG viewer from way back in the early days. Always enjoyed your videos of projects, old vehicle resurrections and such. I was the guy who sent you the shifter cables for your blue Diesel Caravan. Enjoy retirement, take it easy. You don't need to deal with the drama you dealt with years ago.
I totally get toning things down Dave, you have every right to do so. We're just happy to hear that you're still able to enjoy life, and are willing to share what kind of projects you get up to now and again.

That’s the 2nd video I saw back in the day. Then the half car. The first one was “damn ram van won’t start again”. Once it finally started he did his maniacal laugh 😂
Man I’m so happy you’re back and doing well! It’s weird thinking of how life has changed from when I watched your videos as a kid and now being 30… I still remember how bummed I was when your channel disappeared. I’m sure you played a part in my addiction to hoarding non running vehicles lol Anyways fuck the haters and put out the content you want to share. Take us on a nostalgic tour of the farm! So many things are remembered from watching your videos as a kid. I even messaged you once to come too London from northern Michigan..id still love too come visit sometime.
I was just thinking today "man what ever happened to Davidsfarm?" I remembered the early days of the youtube channel, And now here I am at 30. The old Davidsfarm sure was part of the golden era of RUclips, but that time has come and gone. Good to see you're still out there enjoying life, even if it has slowed down, we all do.
I still can't believe it Dave is back!! I remember watching you starting in 2006 or 2007 for years and I loved and learned so much from your videos. I just discovered this channel today and still have been talking about you with a few highschool buddies for years. You were always such a a great inspiration fore to get out and build cool shit. I think you made a good call by calming down on sky Hill and the rest of the farm. I remember back in 2009 a buddy of mine and I were going to drive up from New Jersey in my first car 1979 Pontiac Catalina, just like the cheviac. You were always an icon growing up for us to go live life and have fun doing it. Your still my absolute favorite RUclipsr and I'm so glad your back. As I sit here and drink this beer it's time to reminese all the good times back than and remember a few buddies that past away back than. Thanks for the come back Dave, your fucking awesome!!
It's good to see you back on my screen again. We can't help getting older man and we all slow down. I think you were one of my first subs on youtube. They were some great vid back in the day. My favorite was the oxy acetylene car bang, and then there was nothing left, those were the days.
For one reason or another I ended up punching your name into a google search and found out you're back. Boy did it bring back a lot of memories. Your videos were always entertaining, the educational ones were by far the best and helped me discover how much I enjoy buying a diamond in the rough and polishing it up bit by bit. It's disheartening to hear that the good times have come to an end but I'm glad to see you're doing well. If ever you feel up to it, make some videos on the repairs you do on your vehicles. Spread the wealth of knowledge you've gained over the years and inspire the younger generation to fix the things they own rather than throw them away. You're a great teacher Dave.

Well Dave, life is an evolving process. Interests change. Just an FYI....the "will it run" videos that you essentially invented here are very popular these days. I think people would really enjoy those if you cared to do them occasionally...the piece of sh*t. Lol.
Flexiny's big, but boy is he boring. No talk, no redline, no progression videos (guess he doesn't own the cars). Doesn't even reply to questions. RUclips's progressed, a bit, but there's still no one producing content like Dave. (Hellhammer666666 maybe, but also like 15 years ago)

Tuning motors, changing parts, etc. Just film whatever and post it. Maybe get back together with the guys and do a meet and greet if you're still on amicable terms with them. Tuning mowers, et cetera, stuff you did before when you first started.
i had a battery charging problem in my truck years ago, went to 2 garages, neither could figure it out. went to dave and he had it fixed in a half hour!
Looking back at the farm and those crazy times, all I can say is "those were the days". But you're probably right. Had it kept going, there's a chance someone could have died. Which is something nobody wants. But other than that, it was a good run.
No hate here. IMO you paid for the things you did and are square with the house. I've always enjoyed your videos and I'm glad to see you're slowing down and still enjoying life.

Please keep some videos coming! I still love to watch! Thank you for the years of entertainment you given me dave with all your videos! Massive respect for you still doing some!
@david brock :You're a great teacher Dave. I also noticed people enjoy learning finances on youtube. You could teach us what you know about taxes, finances, economics, GICs, how to rent out property all that stuff schools should teach us, but don't. People like to save money and make money. Feel free to give us more tips and tricks that you do. Looking back, I also noticed a lot of good science videos about nuclear energy, microwaves and all that other stuff. Learning that stuff is always fun. Thirdly people love cats and cat videos. As long as its a new video, I am sure people will watch, even if it was a video talking about something you've already done long ago. I am too cheap to use Bell or Rogers, so all my viewing entertainment is very cheap or free online. OH and fourthly, you might find travelling to countries like south pacific like Philippines or Thailand interesting for how cheap it is to live there. You could make travel vlogs to post also learning from videos already posted on youtube. Canada is just getting way to expensive to live here.
thanks for coming to buy that alh tdi from me a couple years ago it was great meeting you after growing up with daves farm on youtube great to see your back in your own way
glad your still around / i saw Redneck Rickem video pop up to night and it made me think of the farm and all the fun i watched over the years past gone / glad your doing good / i miss seeing the different flags being sent there / i am in the states in the north Georgia Mtns
Damn Dave. I had no idea you were on RUclips these days. It's hard to believe that all those years passed. It really doesn't seem that long ago. I used to love watching your videos. Especially your ones giving technical advice and know how on fixing cars and things. I'm surprised that you don't have more viewers and subscribers! I will be one from now on that I just found ya! Was just bored and got thinking about you and here ya are. Hope your doing well.
@@davidbrock4506 I suppose so. But I think it's alot of things. Probably alot of people like me just didn't realize you were back around. And also RUclips is really different these days. I dont like the way it is now. Like everything else. It used to be better. Why do things always seem to get shittier with time? I am not on any other sites either. I used to have Facebook and that was it. But I lost the best job I had in my life. Working in a dairy manufacturing plant. For the teamsters union. Was making about 60k a year. They fired me after I posted a picture of myself just smiling while at work. Said because it was in the building I was giving away company secrets... Gotta watch out with how technology is any more. 1 stupid picture ruined my damn life! Lost my job. Then my house, my truck and my girl friend... Been 2 years and still am messed up from it!
@@ron1836 Facebook isn't what it used to be either, and I miss the yahoo groups and yahoo chat. People get offended too easy when they can just scroll and ignore things.
It was a fun timd watchin all the stuff that happened on the farm. Felt like if was a never ending party. I was 13 when i first found the channel watched a few vids, got hooked and wanted to visit the farm.
I miss the early videos and all the crazy antics had on the property, but glad serious injury was avoided for the most part. Watching your videos pushed me to want to work on old cars cheaply and just have fun with them. Still hoping to have my own piece of land at some point.
Just seeing you again Dave is enough. If you choose to upload anything from you is cool. Just glad to see you again it's like reuniting with an old friend. I always dreamed of visiting your farm when I lived in Southern manitoba. Funny enough I live in ontario now and drove by. Didn't look like anyone was there so I carried on. But hopefully one day I can meet you and drink a beer (its on me) least I can't do for all the entertainment you brought me
hi Dave good to see you on the blogs and nice to hear youre slowed down for your retirement days. was a long ti me watcher 20yrs ago with my sons gave us many laughs over here in New Zealand. Peaceout! enjoy your retirement
Oh my god. So I used to watch your videos every morning before school when i was 11 years old around a decade ago at this point i think, I did that for many years. Its amazing to finally see you again after all these years randomly on my recommended even though all those years ago I never used an account. Amazing. Thank you for all the great memories my old friend! (though we've never met)
It wasn’t just about the wild and crazy vids. You would always teach us stuff while doing your projects. Yeah you are older, but you have a lot of knowledge and miss when you shared that with us. While you are tinkering around pick up the camera and share what you are up to now and then.
Happy to see you back. Perhaps just film a normal day, we enjoy hearing your wisdom and life. I remember when you used to video going in the neighborhood looking for scrap/gold. You picked up a lawnmower. I wish my retirement to look like yours.. Acreage of land, hanging out as a nudist, and enjoying a beer. Cheers.
Glad to see you are doing well Dave. I bought your catnip in the past and have been watching your original videos since 2008. Like many of us probably agree, your original channel really was the first of it's kind and you truly are the originator of the do-it-yourself and how-to youtube videos. They were truly inspiring and I have to give you credit for helping shape me to be the person I am today.
Dont blame you for not drinking James Ready. Its like drinking rye, that extra .5 % will mess you up, for days after. Great stuff for the young guys just looking to get wasted , fast.
Did you even watch the video? The beer he's drinking now is Laker Ice which is 5.5 also, what's the difference? He even said it's not as good as JR but it's cheaper. I hate when people make stupid comments.
Not gonna say anything about Dave’s past regardless how I fill about it.don’t have to like it and I don’t however I personally have watched Dave’s farm from almost day 1 so much crazy fun and so much info to learn from him.I am ok that he’s back on you tube and wish him well and will keep watching his vids.
Sucks to hear but I understand. I need to make my way out there one of these days. It's been a childhood dream to visit the farm, I've been watching since I was 11. Are there any specific days you would prefer to have visitors?
I'm Canadian, your age and have followed you from the very beginning. Your channel was so interesting because of the mechanical innovations and crazy stunts. I remember all the people gathering around my computer at work in around 2008 just to see what you were up to next. You gave up the stunts and most of the repairs but I know you still live cheap! Please make some videos about any cheap changes you have been through in the last few years or that come in the future. I'd also like to see what Jen looks like today just to confirm if the ladies hit the wall at 30+........lol......Appreciate this update video and hope to see you again!
Hey Dave! glad to see you still on the tube. I know in the past you use to show alot of the farm and your shop. Always been curious as to whats in the garage at your house. I dint know, Just curious. thanks from Maine.

Always enjoyed your videos Dave over the years. My all time favorite channel forsure.
David, I would like to visit. How can I do so?
I really love to see old style videos. Not the crazy ones, but old start cold start etc.
Does Bloke and Rickem still go to the farm? Do you still have the 95 diesel caravan?
they dont come . still got the van.
Look forward to seeing what crops up over the coming years.
thanks for coming to buy that alh tdi from me a couple years ago it was great meeting you after growing up with daves farm on youtube great to see your back in your own way
glad your still around / i saw Redneck Rickem video pop up to night and it made me think of the farm and all the fun i watched over the years past gone / glad your doing good / i miss seeing the different flags being sent there / i am in the states in the north Georgia Mtns
Hope your doing well.
i don't do social media to promote myself.
Surprised how this channel is not deleted yet.
But hopefully one day I can meet you and drink a beer (its on me) least I can't do for all the entertainment you brought me
I miss the old videos dave, good to see your still around. Id love to visit just to see the farm once
hi Dave good to see you on the blogs and nice to hear youre slowed down for your retirement days. was a long ti me watcher 20yrs ago with my sons gave us many laughs over here in New Zealand. Peaceout! enjoy your retirement
I watched all your old videos when you were at the top. RUclips legend. Greetings from Spain!.
Get Pug on for a open discussion / interview on the old days
Even do something about daily routine on your farm. I love these video's bout starting old cars etc. Miss them :) keep up.
some cold starts would be good and fun ;)
Redneckrickem was the only reason I watched this pos
Man I miss your video’s hope you are doing well
It wasn’t just about the wild and crazy vids.
Cheers.
i cant film a normal day because i am not wearing clothes.
Cool, thanks
Thanks Dave, carry on !
The farm was great while it lasted.
👍😊
Sucks to hear but I understand. I need to make my way out there one of these days. It's been a childhood dream to visit the farm, I've been watching since I was 11. Are there any specific days you would prefer to have visitors?
David's Farm was such a great channel! You're a legend!
I'd also like to see what Jen looks like today just to confirm if the ladies hit the wall at 30+........lol......Appreciate this update video and hope to see you again!
my grey van conversion is because i am cheap and like to challenge myself.
Hey Dave! glad to see you still on the tube. I know in the past you use to show alot of the farm and your shop. Always been curious as to whats in the garage at your house. I dint know, Just curious. thanks from Maine.
mowers and blowers.
@@davidbrock4506 Hey Dave how are you doing? I hope you can do some Coldstarts on your farm cars, my 2002 Buick Regal is still doing great 👍 I currently have 140,000km on it.
i am recovering from foot surgery.@@fordmustang98guy
@@davidbrock4506 oh you had foot surgery, Hope you feel better David.
What’s the content of those recorded movies on your PVR? Sorry for the CHILdish question
science, car shows, documentaries.
Docs about Ch!ld P0r*0gr@phy, I’m sure.. But at least he’s wearing clothes in this.. AT BARE MINIMUM!!! Definitely won’t watch anymore of this creep’s content. Should be in jail still…
Beautiful.
The best revenge for those who dislike/hate you is to live well.
That annoys the haters to no end.
They want you to be as miserable as they are.
This channel is a perfect response to highlight to the haters that all is well, life is good and you are doing fine.
How's the cheviak? Glad to see you are well, Dave.
Good to see you Dave the farm was wild hope you keep putting out some engine car Truck tractor snowmobile ATV mechanic videos
Glad to see you’re back, Dave. I have lots of great memories of watching your videos. Whatever happened to Sarah?
Glad to see you back on RUclips. If possible try to bring back the Cheviac and some of the other cars.
I have my own haters club 😢 Now I know how Dave feels
How are you out of jail when you were caught with child porn
I remember David's farm in it's's prime. I spent so many hours enjoying watching. Cheers to the next stage of your life. Best of luck. Many people are probably still in for the ride.
Can you start all the cars you have left from the old time fan from Sweden
I still have my moms version of the moldsmobile. I tried to buy the taillight for hers at one point. That was so long ago.
I'd love to put a diesel motor in my 1996 Chevrolet Lumina APV Van 🙂
I miss the circle track days and redneck ranch
Hey Dave, what do you think about the ecoboost engines?
most are good.
When you do the engine swap on the maroon caravan, it would be interesting to see videos on it.
I’d love to see some old Honda content, on the xls
I love that your videos are back, I watched them all back in the day
HELLO DAVID IVE BEEN TO THE FARM 3 DIFFERENT TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND LIVE IN OHIO.... DOES THE POSSIBILITY STILL STAND FOR ME TO COME AND VISIT SOMETIME? LIKE MAYBE NEXT SUMMER? THANKS
next summer is good.
Dude im from Ohio too!
Dave, would love to see some old start cold starts this winter and some trash picking videos. Also, I read a comment that said the turbo Aries was gone, sad to hear it.
