How To Make A G-Scale Outdoor Concrete Railroad Building That Is Weather Proof and weighs 90lbs. Hurricane proof. Awesome work!
Yeah, these should last for over a hundred years at least. Mine show no wear just a little aging from the weather. I saw where a guy made his like 65 years ago and most of them are still going strong
Re weight: I have noticed my buildings getting smaller over time as they are heavy, so the smaller buildings are easier to work with. My first planter I made took two people to move it LOL. I hope to experiment with adding styrofoam to the mix to make them lighter. I worry they will not hold up as long. Anyway, thanks for watching
Very cool, thanks for sharing
LOVE IT THANK YOU
Glad you like it, thanks for watching
wow!! I dont think the cats and racoons that invade my garden could move this great looking building. Thanks for sharing your technique!
You are welcome
WOW !!!
I liked that’s a wonderful idea
Thank you, glad you liked it.
Very nice job and simple technics 🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Thank you. I am still experimenting. I hope to try one with styrofoam mixed in the concrete so I can get the weight down a little. Thanks for watching
@@hookedonconcrete I will like to see how that works 👍👍👍
Now I will have to find a similar video where the creator is not afraid to narrate and explain the steps.
Hopefully you found what you were looking for. When I started building these, there was very little online so I had to work most of it out for myself. Basically these uploads were done so people who received my buildings would have a video of how they were made. That being said I believe there are a few videos on the channel that show step by step with narration Here is one

The basic process is the same no matter the style of the building. Making these buildings like this, they will probably outlive us all. LOL
Hope that helps, happy building
Thank you for sharing, you are very talented, this is very impressive. Would you mind including a link to the roof tile mould sheet, please? Thank you
Sorry so long, I just found this,
Thanks for your kind words.
Here is the link, www.rrstoneworks.com/casting.htm
I think they are showing it out of stock :( But they do have others.
If you look through some of my other videos, I do have some where I hand made the roof. I hope that helps, thanks for watching.
Play with fairies (elves about 4-5" tall). It would be nice if you could put real doors and windows so they could live in it. LOL! Thank you for making this videos. You do a wonderful job, beautiful just beautiful houses! You inspire me. Thank you!
I am glad you like it. Putting doors and windows could be done, we have problems with wasps, so I try to make them wasp proof ; ) Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching
Do you sell these?
Most I give away to family members. I thought about selling them but shipping would be prohibitive. Thanks for watching.
