Canadian here and I can say I loved watching Jeter compete throughout hee amazing career, and I still think her 10.64 was the most complete race I've ever seen from a female sprinter. I know she didn't beat Flo Jo's time but the way ran that race was poetry in motion.
Love her, Shelly Fraser, Felix and Thompson. ...now Dina is killing it..🔥🔥 Just so many incredible female sprinters.
    Great attitude Carm...👍❤

+Y Hideit Actually, I don't which Women's 4x100m impresses me more......London 2012 where they won Gold and set the World Record, or Rio this year, where they won Gold and clocked the 2nd fastest time ever, out of *lane 1*.
As you put it, both races really blew me away. (:

first time seing this video and the queen of Track and Field sprints is as beautiful as ever. Great legs as well as the interviewer : ) Glad they mentioned that great performance by Jeter that 2012 Olympic year. gold silver and bronze. She was up against an incredible field that year and she almost pulled it off. I haven't seen a greater performance against the power of the Jamaicans sprinter than that given by Jeter that Olympics. She enthralled me that year.

It's a shame that Carmelita, with all her experience and history with the sport and personal contact with these women decided to make a misleading statement without knowing the full facts. SAFP didn't lose to Elaine because there was a changing of the guard, she lost because she was injured. I still don't know how SAFP pulled off medalling considering the pain she was in and how much her training suffered that season. I think that points to her fortitude and natural abilities. Unless a fit Elaine beats a fit Shelley Ann, SAFP hasn't relinquished a thing. She may very well bow out, since she's on the mommy track and pregnancy is really hard on the bodies of female athletes, but until then, give SAFP the respect she's owed. Especially since she mentors Elaine and the two of them are quite close.

Ugh! Carmelita....why? Why the horse hair? You were already a natural beauty with your short hairdo. Why do black women fall under the spell of the hair weave? What is this obsession?
