Yeah. This build is a great start. It's missing a lot of stuff, like a manual shifter? Also, the seat, pedals, monitor and steering wheel should all be adjustable.
I loved the fact that I was considering "well, what if the phone rings and you have to get out of the thing real quick? And then you proceded to show the wheels you put underneath it to be able to grab a beer and I thought: "ok, this man has it all covered!". Genious craftmanship
Love your builds and your channel. All you need now is to mount your racing sim rig to a motion base to get even more realistic racing fun! keep up the great work on your channel.
Man can't believe I never seen this when it was uploaded, looking in to building my own sim rig and I've been subbed to you sense the screw drive tractor project.
Bit late to this party but had to comment on your frigging skills. Massively overkill for the hardware your running but oh my, how beautiful does it look. I would say a top DD motor and high end pedals would really bring this rig right up with the best home made solution i have ever seen on YT. Top, Top marks to you sir
Looks amazing and unbelievably sturdy! Consider getting the pedals a further away if you can. Racing like that will get uncomfortable really quickly. Not to mention bashing your hands on your knees.
That's the nicest sim rig on tube, looks like a section of a sprint car. The casters on the bottom make sense. Guessing your racing will be Tony Stewart's sprint car simulator or F1 racing.
It does look a little cramped with no room for adjustability. In my opinion it is a major fault and it's a pity, as it would have been an excellent build.
I was looking for homemade sim cockpits, wasn't expecting something this awesome O_O I havent been blessed with this level of skill, to try and make something like it but fun to watch nonetheless 😀
Man, looks awesome. I wonder if you might need to build in some adjustability for the pedals though, as those look a little close, which might hurt your ankles after a while (hopefully not). Awesome rig man.
Wow!!!! You have the exact same kirkey seat and harness as I got. I would totally buy this cage from you. What's gonna be your asking price? How far you live from Chicago? To anyone thinking this setup is too close and compact, your wrong. In a little 4 banger race car with a full cage and detachable steering wheel this is exactly what you would look like. The only thing I would say is the steering wheel diameter is too small. I have the TMX Pro and the one thing I wish is the steering wheel had more diameter to it. Overall you nailed it sir BRAVO!!
"Oh yeah guys so it's gonna be a very cheap rig you just need to buy a few metal pipes and uhhh oh yeah have a racing seat, welder, saw, hydrolic drill press and some space like a whole ass workshop guys!! Very cheap trsut me!!!"
These guys will never know the pain of trying to find a house with a decent garage in the UK. You can't even get car in most of them, never mind entire workshops
Use lubricant! 😂 The pipes for adjusting the steering wheel position could do with a bit of lube but what the hell. Great job - obviously you have quite a bit of experience with welding frames like this 👍 I can only envy your skills and that huge garage!
dude i know its clearly been said before but you could make some serious cash on the side or even as a full buisiness. that pipe is even way overboard on what it needs to be. you could do min/max pipe sizing so people can build to their budget. i have no idea where you are located but i know it would be insane to ship it to me otherwise i would pay you to design one with me. that thing is epic!!!
Really awesome build, and if you ever get tired of it as a sim, you can throw a motorcycle engine behind the seat and finish it as a dune buggy.
Dudes racing set up looks better than most cages I put in cars😂
Probably one of the nicest rigs I've ever seen! Good job, Man!
You could 100% make and sell that cockpit
and make a shit load. That thing is super sturdy. These cheap cockpits cost a few hundred and flex like crazy. That thing is mega solid.
I'd buy one!
Lovely design 👌
@@jakobfolmar6604 You can make a sturdy sim setup out of wood.
LOL. Sure he could, but would you buy it for what it costs? No, you will buy a cheap Chinese version.
Really cool. The pedals look uncomfortably close, but if you like it that way that's all that counts.
If you saw me at 6'3" 220lbs in my 4 Cylinder Honda Accord it would look identical to this. With my helmet on my head is about 1" from the roof.
@@mattsenft4810 do you wet fins when it rains?
Yeah. This build is a great start. It's missing a lot of stuff, like a manual shifter? Also, the seat, pedals, monitor and steering wheel should all be adjustable.
Really nice rig! I also am a former racer who has gotten into sim racing. Your rig brings that added bit of realism. Very slick.

This is the first time I've seen you smile in one of your videos for a while, keep up the good work buddy
The best SimRig I have ever seen, looks amazing, and built amazingly nice-good - your skills really show.
Hats off!
9:35 im gonna sub just for that. that is the single most impressive sim racing innovation i have ever seen.
Amazing build! I wish I had the fabrication tools and skills to be able to do this myself
Best Homemade Racing Sim I've seen. Great Job !!
Love your builds and your channel. All you need now is to mount your racing sim rig to a motion base to get even more realistic racing fun!
keep up the great work on your channel.
Quality craftsmanship as always, keep up the good work.
The wait was worth it!
awesome job
That's totaly mint mate they would sell like hot cakes
dude the wheels make this so practical
Yo I was already amazed by this build ...... And then you showed the casters on the bottom . Legend man 💪💪💪
Incredible craftsmanship, beautiful build!!
Now you can throw some quarter turn tabs on there and put on some side panels too! Lol Badass man, I dig it.
This man is an artist
Damn I wish I had your skills, and a garage. Impressive!
Man can't believe I never seen this when it was uploaded, looking in to building my own sim rig and I've been subbed to you sense the screw drive tractor project.
Wow, very good looking and compact, nice! You should make the steering wheel detachable with some quick clamp "thing". This way you enter/exit easier.
Lovely rig. VR is the biggest upgrade I’d make if you haven’t already. You’ll be surprised how real it feels.
Bit late to this party but had to comment on your frigging skills. Massively overkill for the hardware your running but oh my, how beautiful does it look. I can tell you really enjoyed that build. Imagine how fun it would be to build another one and send it to me!!!
Glad to see you back...been a minute
9:30 mark for the win. Great Build.
I'm blown away. Amazing job.
Awesome job! I love it. Great to see another fellow Canuck get into sim racing 😊👍. Liked an subscribed.
Looks amazing and unbelievably sturdy! Consider getting the pedals a further away if you can. Racing like that will get uncomfortable really quickly. Not to mention bashing your hands on your knees.
That's so heavy duty and badass, really cool rig
What happened to the screw drive ?
U r a master engineer I have taught me so much stuff in this video
Looks awesome
Glad to see you working on stuff
One of the best DIY sims I have seen yet! Amazing job 👌👍
Wow! Beautiful job! I'm envious of your skill set.
That's the nicest sim rig on tube, looks like a section of a sprint car. The casters on the bottom make sense. Guessing your racing will be Tony Stewart's sprint car simulator or F1 racing.
looks amazing but the leg room, is it enough?
It does look a little cramped with no room for adjustability. In my opinion it is a major fault and it's a pity, as it would have been an excellent build.
Needs a cup holder! Haha awesome job
And to think I’ve been sitting close to a fabricating genius at Bomber games all these years !!! Well done …
Really great fabrication
Beautiful job. Looking great
I do like the build and wished you could send the details of the measurements that you used its fantastic mate well done
awesome work, just gained a subscriber!
Dude. That was an amazing project.
I was looking for homemade sim cockpits, wasn't expecting something this awesome O_O I havent been blessed with this level of skill, to try and make something like it but fun to watch nonetheless 😀
Wow. That’s great. Gave me ideas. Thanks
Stronger than most cockpits on the market.
congrats, great rig!!!
"I've been dry walling, and those dimensions make sense to me" 😂🤣
Man, looks awesome. I wonder if you might need to build in some adjustability for the pedals though, as those look a little close, which might hurt your ankles after a while (hopefully not). Awesome rig man.
The beer fridge casters are ingenious.
looks awesome, nice work

They use that holesaw blade to resurface hips (partial hip replacement)
Great build
Fantastic work!
Looks amazing. Nice 1 :)

you can buy plumbing pvc pipes and make a rig like that
@@CptSaveAHoe. It will look the same, but flex like crazy. The real material for diy sim rigs is wood.
Casters so that you can get a beer. Genius. :)
Mad skills
Use lubricant! 😂

beautiful design!
Looks bad ass!! But is it comfortable long? You look crammed into it. You should mass produce these with the pedals furthur away and a seat slider
Yeah it cozy for me, but your right, made for me, average size currently lol
Amazing job!!
this looks better then most pre fabbed rigs out there.....
Amazing work man 👌👌
"Budget" ...man I wish I had your fabrication capabilities :'D
It would be nice to put some actuators to put some movement to the rig minus the screen, beautiful job !!
Very nice .good job !!!
1. Beautiful setup! 2. Where’s the shifter???
pretty well done man.
That looks awesome
Great job.
please make these. I would 100 percent buy one.
Nice job bro !
Real nice work
Just need some good pedals and wheel in there. Be perfect
Where are you located man? you build stuff for others?
Is it possible to share/sold the plan for the whole frame? I love this project and would like to try build something similar :)
dude i know its clearly been said before but you could make some serious cash on the side or even as a full buisiness. that pipe is even way overboard on what it needs to be. you could do min/max pipe sizing so people can build to their budget. i have no idea where you are located but i know it would be insane to ship it to me otherwise i would pay you to design one with me. that thing is epic!!!
Okay so when are you gonna put an engine on that rig and cruise around
good job very cool i wonder if it would be easier for me to buy one or make one. i have no tools
Congratulations on the video!
The cockpit was incredible! 🇧🇷👍🏿
to tight !!... great job !
Awesome video! You've definitely done this before a time or two. BTW what is the measurement from the sim to the beer fridge?
OMG I want one!
Reminds me of the hoonigan rig
is it possible you could send me or post the measurments for this awesome sim rig?
amazing! you should sell these
What a beauty
What a handy man!
Im sure it’s strong enough for direct drive right?
Safety first 👍😀
Great! Great! Great!
fucking bravo man. i just got into sim racing and i have a rouge fab bender that id to use to make something like this. this video helps alot.
Awesome!
approximately, how much does it weigh in total? great work by the way!
Do you know that the Winnipeg Sports Car Club is about to start an eSports series which will be starting soon?
