    I don’t usually watch these kinds of videos entirely but dude you knocked this out of the park.
    I am absolutely sick of the wireless issues in my warehouse with my Sonos plate:1s so I went to Amazon looking for an alternative that allows me to use my own speakers.
    This is hands down one of the best review videos I have seen in some time. Pacing is perfect and the technical side of things told me 110% of what I was looking for.
    5 stars, killer job. Thank you so much for putting this much time into this kinda of thing.

    I'm thinking of buying one to have speakers in my kitchen, dining area, and back screen porch. My only concern (especially since this is a new small company) is that if the company goes out of business (and internet domains and apps expire) it could be an expensive brick. That happened to me with a large video camera system at my business.

    Really enjoyed the review. It was very thorough. I am seriously considering this unit (actually, 2 of them). Also considering the HTD LYNC 6 unit (again, 2) which is pretty similar price wise. Have you guys ever done a review of that system? Anybody else commenting here compared the 2 or have experience with the HTD?

    The biggest flaw is that it's Airplay. That excludes 87% of smartphone/tablet users. Honestly, with all the limitations this is a really expensive product. The argument for it being affordable is only applicable when you compare it to other high-end solutions,.in my opinion. I like the ability to upgrade the software, but it's got some hardware limits that make the overall product "fine" in the end. I dunno - just my opinion.

      Hello Matt - In addition to Airplay, we also offer the ability to stream via Spotify Connect, DLNA for a downloaded music library, as well as from up to two analog sources. We're also close to rolling out GoogleCast as a streaming source option for all of our units, to make it just as flexible for non Apple devices to stream to Juke.

    Love the video. Juke is indeed an interesting option. For my house reconstruction I purchased a six-zone system by HTD. Complete with wall mounted touchpad controls and ceiling mounted Echo Dot cans. I went with HTD after a friend had much success with a system some years ago. I'm not using their speakers and instead purchased different speaker brands and types for different purposes around the house. For my system, I'm only using four zones, one of which requires more power so I'm bridging channels to increase the power in that zone. This leaves me with a "spare" zone or extra channels to bridge should I need it. While I haven't installed it yet, I would love to hear your thoughts on their equipment if you have any experience with it. Cheers and keep up the great work!

    Haven't tried it, but Airmusic is an Android app that apparently supports streaming via Airplay.

    Do you think its possible to connect a Sonos Port to it and tie it into my Sonos system? it would make it a cheaper way for mutizones that having to purchase 6 separate Sonos Amps. What do you think?

    Love your info…can you recommend the best quality speakers for the best quality sound output? Are there dual speakers that have a tweeter that would work and achieve better sound without having an EQ?

    Nice review.
    Did you test the bridging option mentioned?
    If so, how did it perform?

    More content like this would be useful! Messaged Mathew Poes on exactly this topic about my preparing to learn & use on a lower budget older 2nd hand rack mounted comercial equiptment that is configerable + does have DSP & a similar wattage bi-ampable + build upon add more componets to use with it through a PC/Laptop +ethernet AVreceiver giving many features as like that the Duke does.

    I own a home that was built with a ZON home house audio system and the controllers have begun to crap out. I have had numerous audio people come to the house and give me a hundred different ideas to make my current audio system (speakers in the kitchen, out side in the screen porch, pool, and living room, and 4 bedrooms and the game room in the lower level. A side note, I rent my home allot and want something that would be easy for renters to use and not screw up or spend time calling my rental company. Please advise the best you can....

      Hello Dino - Hopefully you give our system a try! Our brand is rooted in simplicity and reliability. Should work well for any renters that you have coming in the house.

      @@jukeaudio Hello. I have just built a new home, and I want simple for my 5 locations. I want the Juke I could live with the review not much treble/bass control. I am an Android and Google Home person. This is ONE concern, although I want Juke. How can I add an amp for more base to this system being a newbie I am confused about what he said to add an amp?

    I need some audio advice. I have this Kenwood reciever and a full surround system. The Kenwood is rated at 8-16 ohms. The speakers are Onkyo surround speakers for a home theater. There are 5 and they are rated at 6 ohms. Whats the likelihood somethings gonna go wrong here? thanks so much for all you do for the Audio community. Cheers.

      It should not be too much of an issue unless you are pushing the amp to its limits. That would only be the case if you were playing very loud for long periods of time, or it is a low powered amp in a big room for example. Many receivers have a 4 ohm/8 ohm switch, which basically stops it from drawing too much current in 4 ohm mode rather than making any actual changes to suit the speakers.

    • @nikobuerk346
      @nikobuerk346 2 года назад

      @@jasonschubert6828 Well in order to get audible sound I have to bring the amp all the way to -30db which seems high but I'm very in experienced here.

    • @jasonschubert6828
      @jasonschubert6828 2 года назад

      @@nikobuerk346 I can't really compare as my receiver is a Sony, but mine switches on at -25db and I listen anywhere between -30db and -15db depending on the input and surround format (running 6Ohm speakers as well on the 8Ohm setting). Bear in mind these are just arbitrary numbers depending on where 0db is set, the range of mine is -70db to +30db.
