I think is nice to have companies creating new boards and stuff for the pinball machines. Last week i just bought 4 pinsound cards for my flippers, and i don't regret it
Finally some competition for rotten dog... I've been 50/50 with rotten dog bless her hearts for making the boards however it's always your fault and not theirs with components that seem to fail and I have no way of checking at home I've been in this business for 16 years I feel I know what I'm doing when I'm putting boards in...
Great to see this! Build Quality looks first rate on this video. My Fishtales cpu is still good, but it’s a relief to know I can replace the cpu for 300 (or less)! Thanks for the update Cary!
Appears to be good quality and it looks attractive in the game. I have a Gilligan's Island with a hacked board but it's still working for now. I will definitely keep this one in mind when I'm ready to purchase.
What would happen if you accidentally put the getaway chip in the Doctor who Pinball machine? Would it act like the getaway Pinball machine? Or would it cause damage?
Got my replacement CPU from Pinball Basement. lil cheaper and its done off the original WIlliams design files so its like a factory fresh part. plus I know what parts are on it if it needs fixed in the future, dunno what parts on this Rocket design and dont have a hot air station to try to repair it. Maybe ask them at TPF if they will be providing a repair service on the boards in the future if say somebody would accidentally send coil voltage into the switch matrix.
You can go 5 years plus. I wouldn't worry about replacing them until the game isn't able to retain settings. These don't leak like the typical AA batteries.

I love PinSound products. No doubt this will be a winner too.
Thank goodness these are being made!

Definitely a good product! I'm glad we'll have more alternatives. I love my Pinsound Plus I hope they do a Driver Board (WDB089).
Pinball Basement already has replacements for this PDB. Williams factory design from factory design files.

Thanks Cary.
Good to know I can keep my Hurricane going if need be

That Williams brand chip tho!! 👍🏼
Need some more options for Williams boards besides Rottendog, when you can find them. Great video
Looks like an awesome product.. will definitely save some games in the future

No damage. You would get a number of errors for switches. It would be somewhat playable.
Killer instinct theme in bg ?
yup!

Amazing info as always. They make a fantastic product and really know their market. Mirco could learn a few hundred things from them.
Do you only replace those type of batteries once every 5 years then or do you still replace annually?

It is so cool!
Mirco, take notice of how to make decent products! 🤣😜
wait, theyre selling a cpu without a cpu?
Yes. The basic version doesn't come with a CPU. To save on cost.
Discount code?
Nope, sorry.
Get those death battery alkalines off that old board!! Yikes......
I want free Pinsound stuff...
