I appreciate this review. I am considering buying one. It sounds like it has some quality issues. I'm considering switching out the sofa with a jack-knife sofa. I definitely was happy to see you can get it with a 450 engine and rear camera. These kind of reviews (year after purchased) are super helpful.

    Hey man,
That's a nice set-up. Once your modifications are all done, you'll certainly be hauling a lot of tools, and the kitchen sink 😂
That rear door would be perfect if your partner snored really badly. Just roll em out.😂
So thanks for sharing Mike it's great seeing you.
I do follow you on instagram.
    ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

Greetings, Nice review Mike. Now it needs the better half review. The reason why I mention it because most of the better half don't like camping🙂.

Haha, she does not really like going to the offroad parks. To noisy and dusty I think for her.

Hey Mike, yes we have been using the RV. It's worked out well for getting the baja to different places to ride. 👍

Sinks in a little bathroom are ridiculous 👍 How about a fuel tank in place of the propane tank??? We use our shower for storage as well.
    Very nice rig overall👍

Hey Greg, that sink is a total waste of space. But try telling that to my wife. I'll work on removing the propane this winter. When it's gone I'll see what I have to work with under there and decide what to do with it.

Are you going to make a video of your trip to Little Sahara in Oklahoma? I go pretty regularly and would love to see your take on it! Maybe some time we can meet up and ride buggies!

I sent you an email about a buggy question, not sure if you saw it. I'm basically just wondering whether mounting a shock on the lower control arm or upper control arm of a baja is more beneficial. Keep up the great content!

mounting on the LCA (lower control arm) is almost always preferred. It gives better shock angles and tends to make things more responsive. The goal of mounting the shock is to have it as close to perpendicular to the arm at full bump, pependicular is basically "100% efficiency" for the shock, and every degree off of perpendicular is quite a loss in shock efficiency. You can obviously tune for it, SXS with UCA (upper control arm) mounts obviously do it and tune the shock accordingly, but moving it to the LCA is a substantial increase in shock responsiveness
Another benefit is, the LCA is already pretty beefy, UCA's don't actually take on a lot of road force and can be built a bit lighter and still be 100% adequate in strength, mounting the shock on the UCA requires adding otherwise needless weight to the UCA to handle the stresses that the shock applies
