Billy Connolly - DIVORCE (with lyrics)

A parody of the Tammy Wynette country hit of the same name, this reached No 1 in the UK singles chart in 1975. To this day it probably remains better known than the original - in the UK at least! - a fitting testament to one of our greatest comedians.
Billy Connolly released a further two parody songs in the 1970’s, but neither were as successful as this classic.
