On the subject of artistic gems:
Technically if we include the performing arts we can put Pearls on the list because one of their noted functions is singing and dancing for the pleasure of others. Otherwise I think we have to be kind of roundabout for examples. Obviously someone was making those giant murals of the Diamonds in the Moon Base, but I don't think we've ever been told what gem would perform the function of making them. If you squint Bismuths might count as artists for the buildings they make to venerate the Diamonds and their courts, but it's never explicit how much design/creativity they're allowed in their function as builders.
Could spinel be considered artistic? Her primary job is to play but she also does dances too

Larimar is a direct reference to the Ice King!! Her pointy head and gem is meant to resemble the Ice King’s crown, not to mention that she’s an ice gem. I’m surprised it was overlooked! I love this channel though and their information of the real-life gems.

I think it's more likely Snowflake was under White, because she was made by her, indicated by her color scheme.
@ava avwy Yes, the Snowflake Obsidian depicted in the show is known as a “Leukoflake.” The flake style is indicative of the court they fall under. Leukoflake, Oceanaflake, Tempoflake, Orangoflake, Verdiniaflake, Satenzoflake, and Galactiflake are the different types.
Leukoflake - White Diamond
Tempoflake and Verdiniaflake - Yellow Diamond
Oceanaflake and Galactiflake - Blue Diamond
Satenzoflake - Pink Diamond

It would most likely form a Satenzoflake Obsidian. A Snowflake Obsidian from Pink Diamond’s court, with pink/red flakes, thanks in part to Magnesium.

Larimars voice actress is called swiss at 9:37 but she's actually swedish. Those two countries get mixed up all the time. I noticed that because I am swiss. Hope that helps.

It´s true, as someone who actually leaves in República Dominicana I faund Larimar ´s ice power and her icy vibe both suprising and kinda wrong base on the fact that its pretty danm hot in this country and the only cold place in the Dominincan Republic it´s Constanza and even there snow it´s really rare , but am just talking about the real life gem.

Does anyone wonder about the possible relation between Snowflake Obsidian and the mega fusion of Obsidian? If all fusions have a homeworld counterpart (as we’ve seen with garnet and pyrope and the rest) is there anything there to explore? Both seem to have elemental/world building properties, but specifically from the name we know gems are named by relation e.g. there are several different Quartz gems but they’re fundamentally in the same ‘class’. Maybe there are bigger Snowflake obsidians and this one is smaller

Obsidian somehow fascinated me for years. I'm not a huge fan of Snowflake Obsidian, but I really adore Snowflake

I'm not sure what gem she is, but I'd love to see a video about Crazy Lace. The gem with all the vibrant colors and the gem placement being one of her eyes.
Ms. Crazy Lace Agate is exactly what she sounds like.
She’s an Agate, made to run colonies, but she’s more wild than others like Holly Blue. She’s meant to be fun and exciting to be around. From what we see in the show, she seems to be a fun loving gal! She has a sanguine personality, much like her Diamond, assuming that she fell under Pink Diamond’s court.
The Crazy Lace Agate we meet in the show was corrupted along with the rest of Rose’s followers. She took on a form similar to that of a Jasper, and we see her fuse with main Jasper leading up to Jasper’s corruption. Other than that, we see her several times, mainly fighting Steven and Connie. Twice with Jasper, once with Ocean Jasper.
Crazy Lace is a free spirit, free from the worries of the world. This is reflected with her colours, which are, as her name implies, Crazy Laced. Bright colours wrapped in lace rings cover her body. She dresses in a pinup-esk romper which, as an added bonus, is also laced, paired with some white boots. We never see her eyes, as the left one is covered by her hair and the right one is a rock in her face.
Speaking of that rock in her face, (Was that a good transition? No, no it wasn’t) The real life Crazy Lace Agate is a variation of banded Chalcedony, a type of quartz. Predominantly white, the bands can range from the neutrals like brown and grey, to more exotic colours to gold and scarlet. It is sometimes called the “Earth Rainbow” because of the, well, CRAZY spectrum of colours it comes in. On the more metaphysical side of crystals, Crazy Lace Agate is said to balance Yin and Yang energies, stabilising the soul and strengthening the influence you have on other people.

The one thing that irks me about S.U (just because Spanish is my first language) is the pronunciation of the name Larimar. Considering that the Word “Mar” is a Spanish word meaning Sea, the proper pronunciation is “Mal”.. do not use a long A (i.e like the word “Alpaca”) and do not use a short a (i.e like the word “Awesome”). You’d have to pronounce it using a middle ground for both... idk just a pet peeve.. I still love the show lol

Now there is something i do not get or it is just way to hard hard to process, at least for me personally. Snowflake obsidian is actually a female? (Before you say anything, first just hear me out: I know that gems don't have gender, i only am saying this about the "she" part, how someone refers to the gem, like garnet is a female). Isn't he a male? Because we need more masculine-like gems, because we don't have many, like there is only:
1. Single-gems
- Flint
- Chert
- Little Larimar (You won't convine me otherwise)
2. Two-gems fusions
- Rainbow Quartz 2.0

I don’t think snowflake obsidian was affected bye the corruption at least not physically, keep in mind she was trapped in an object In some kind of structure so I don’t think she has any scars after being healed she may have only been affected through her mind.
