An attorney for possible victims of the alleged Gilgo Beach serial killer revealed "demonic" details about Rex Heuermann's daughter and her penchant for "sadistic" artwork that depict scenes similar to how the women on Long Island died.
Attorney John Ray held a press conference on Thursday to share the chilling information about Victoria Heuermann, the daughter of Rex Heuermann, and the eerie similarities her art has to the murders her father has been charged with.
Ray showed a series of sadistic images that Victoria Heuermann created herself and artwork by others that she re-posted to her Tumblr. He compared these images to the alleged Gilgo Beach murders, making specific references to how body parts are dismembered, the family's house and other cannibalistic fantasies.

I disagree I think it warrants investigation and arrest. They lied about being out of town and Victoria and her mothers DNA were found on victims…those facts combined with the circumstantial evidence adds up to being suspect at minimum.
If the wife can lie about being a swinger and that she was home when Karen Vergatta ran out naked, she isn’t trustworthy at all.
Of course it does - these professionals will be laughed at in the future.
They said they have evidence that the family was out of town when the murders happened. You can’t just charge someone for art or interests there may be! We like true crime does that mean we go around murdering people no!

John Ray is correct to call out Victoria and her art. Too many people conspiring with one another everyday (family and other small and large cults) to commit crimes in plain sight and get away with it for decades.
Wrong, she and the wife need to be investigated completly. Small hoarder house, thin walls, no one travels that much and it is an unbelievable coincidence that the wife and 2 grown adult kids are conveniently "Out of town"? Give us a break. 🤔

@@rachidluildha2676 first of all, VICTORIA did not post any of the crap he showed. Oblivious Benson did a great video on Victorias ACTUAL artwork, you should check that out. She also breaks down the real artists who created the art shown in the press conference. That being said, it’s art. A lot of art is dark. It’s a natural way to express dark feelings and emotions you could otherwise not express. Having that outlet probably keeps some people from becoming serial killers in the first place!

The daughter has an association with the process church, which is a satanic cult. Normal people do not get into morbid or cannabalistic artwork. There's no doubt in my mind that the whole family is involved in Satanism. They are being protected so they don't start naming names in the community. It's looking like a snuff film ring. The truth will come out. Thankfully, John Ray is on it with his associates seeking justice for the families.

You know what's crazy? If we just imagined the daughter had no relation to Rex, BUT LE knew of the searches on the internet and had the hair evidence on the bodies. You better believe they would investigate her even if she didn't live in the house where the crimes occurred and wasn't related to Rex.

Not improbable at all. Att Jon Ray raised some very significant and relative points that should be taken seriously in relation to the case. There is no way.. absolutely no way that the family didn't know what was going on in that house...the mother and the daughter are absolutely part of this terrible case. It would be totally remiss and inexcusable for the police not to place a strong focus on the wife and daughter at least. Unfortunately though it appears that they are being given a free pass by the authorities when it comes to their association with all the murders.
A signed piece of Rex’s daughter’s art is enough evidence for me! The subject was horrible and dark!
No one is saying that she participated in the torture and murders of all those women. What was brought to our attention is the fact that she is into the same kinds of disgusting and criminal things that her father is into. Proof of this is the search of her computer; the sites she visited on social media, the sickening artwork she looked at and created. I myself have never ever visited sited that show canabalism. I didn't even know they existed. How depraved. She also seems to have two personas. Pictures of her two personas were shown. I think bring this out is important and may expand the investigation to include the family. And let us not forget that her hair was found on the bodies of some victims. Keep an open mind. You certainly don't have any more answers to all of this than anyone else.

I think on one show i heard that some of these images may have come from old Tumblr stuff that could be from when she was 20. I really do not know what to believe about this stuff. some reporters (or at least web sleuths -- not sure if it's both) refuted the findings of Ray's "helpers". I hope i can find the articles and read them -- someone on RUclips made referenece to them. What i was wondering was if some of the really sick stuff (the words from some of the Hentai?) were part of the Tumblr of someone else and she just "liked" one or two things in that person's tumblr....

Hi Bill, my thought on this is that Victoria may have seen something when she was young, as children are curious .. maybe she went downstairs and saw something she wasn't meant to, maybe she saw one of her dad's nasty porn films, or photos .. maybe she doesn't even know what she saw or remember it, and it's the root of this particularly nasty and unusual style of art. Especially the one of the inside of her mind. I don't think for one second she was involved, but very possibly a victim of his of a different kind. She definitely needs therapy tho.

R H seems like a lasy & messy guy to me outside of his professional work so running around not caring much & leaving doors open woudn't surprise me, and now seeing V likings, obvious questions need answers. What did I learn from the show? I liked the comment from one of the friends joining the chat this afternoon " The state of your house reflects the state of your mind.
Agree with your comments, Sgt Bill, can not understand how people can live in a house that is stacked with boxes, very untidy, with bad smells. The phrase " A man's home is his castle." This reflects the idea that a person's home is a place of safety, privacy, and sanctuary, where the family have the right to feel secure and be free from intrusion or harm.
How could Victoria and Christopher feel secure in such surroundings.
I tend to believe Dr Brucato's thoughts that Victoria may have Stockholm Syndrome, a coping mechanism adapting to the family life that surrounds her.This could be the explanation for the paintings, definitely do not believe Victoria was involved in the horrific murders that her father committed.

Dr Gary Brucato, in my opinion, is a genuine, honest gentleman.
I believe Dr. Is also but his presence was not appropriate in this setting. I am personally and professionally disapointment in his judgement to be a part of this 'press conference'.

If you listened to the press conference instead of putting words in Ray's mouth because of your bias, you would have understood the point of the press conference and not been so confused. I 100% believe just like you would take your child out to learn how to swim, play baseball, etc. He probably exsposed her to at least one of these crimes, or as a child walked in on him doing something. Yes she would have been exposed to horrific literature , pictures etc… on & offline the kind of things Which are commonly used during the grooming process. Rex Heuerman seems to be very narcissistic personality, for him to mold his own child into following in his footsteps is something I could see such a man be delighted with. it’s only natural for a daughter to want the approval of her father by joining in the enjoyment of his activity’s .

I'm no expert but these allegations are far from inappropriate. Her art while excellent but her attention to detail in her drawings appear to come from bizarre reality, come on. Do I think she killed? No. But she definitely needs help imo. Who knows what she saw in that household.

All those that were present during 911 call have been thoroughly investigated....and medical examiner didn't rule her death a homicide...

The interview with Ashley Banafield with the youtube videographer was interesting. The realty youtuber said that he was uncomfortable prior to his filming with Rex's interaction with his daughter. It seemed to him that he was overly dominant and dismissing towards his daughter, who was present there when it was filmed
And they collected alot of money for that family when my son can't even find a job, Ray is going to break this case so don't put your head in the sand

@@beez991 We interviewed John Ray on our show and found him to be defensive, unclear in regards to time, place, dates. when I confronted him with all of the mistakes with Dr. Baden's autopsy he had no answers. Please do not dismiss my 27 years police experience, 10 in Homicide, and 16 in the NYPD detective Bureau. I am not just making things up as many do who don't have investigative experience. When two attorneys, Macedonio, and Mitev dismiss John Ray maybe you should pay attention. In addition another huge red flag s that ray Tierney never mentions John Ray and clearly stated that John Ray is not part of this investigation.

The point is, NO ONE knows what went on in Heuermann’s home environment.
Nobody but the members of that household do.
So none of us can say Victoria was/wasn’t exposed to such material growing up, and whether it affected her in some way or not.
How deep a dive has the Task Force done on Victoria? Again we the public do NOT know 100% for sure.
Victoria is now a grown woman, of around 27yrs of age.
Her father is an ALLEGED serial killer that potentially began killing in his late 20’s before she was born, and who continued to kill as she was growing up.
But the case against him is yet to be proven beyond ALL reasonable doubt in a courtroom before a jury.
And recently there’s talk of a particular book with questionable content being found during the second search of Heuermann’s house.
It wasn’t found in that house back in the 2023 search by police. So why was that? Was it because the book was temporarily located elsewhere at that time? If so by whom in that household , why, and where?
Or, was it purchased by someone in that household AFTER his arrest?
One of the three people who still resides in that house knows the answer to that question .
So this begs another question. If the book did not belong to Heuermann, who does it belong to, and WHY? What purpose did it serve those people still living in that house until it was discovered by police this year?
THAT question needs answering for sure.
Nothing appears to be straightforward about this case and the persons subsequently caught up in it. There are many many questions that need answering by many people, and it’s likely there’ll be many more questions posed in the future.
Aiding and abetting. See something, say something! Was it arranged to leave when hubbie got the urge to kill? Who stayed behind to lure women under false pretenses? This whole thing and the way it was covered up for years by New York police. 🤢

Remember the pig farm murders in BC, Canada? They were able to carry on killing so many women over so many years because the victims were sex workers and the police were so dismissive.
Shannon's death has this vibe. Why not reopen and re-examine her case? I agree, it's highly unlikely that ahe was a victim of RH, but her death really does have too many questions.

Michael I have to disagree with you on the point you made about these pictures that Victoria has been looking at and creating as some kind of phase that every young girl looks at while trying to figure out who they are! It’s not normal behaviour to engage with these kind of images. She is not that young she is pushing 30! It’s actually patronising to woman to claim this has anything to do with deciding to be goth or choosing what make up to wear? This behaviour signals a mental health crisis that this grown woman is clearly going through. Do not try sugar coat it. The images were horrific they could not even be shown!
A few days before the press conference, John Ray said somewhere that the fact that on Heuermann's prep murder list it said "hairnets" that that means there were multiple people needing/using them. Then Ray went on Scripps News and said the same thing about the hairnets to Ashleigh Banfield. I saw Attorney John Ray's presentation today and tbh found the entire mess to be more beneficial to himself, in so far as creating a 'buzz' around his own name as he took to a podium, once again to emphasise to the media and viewers that were brutally murdered (with a toddler falling victim alongside their mother, which is extremely sad) but interestingly a biological male's body suggested he too had been involved in the "Escorting" scene and had met with foul play‼️ The hunt for Shannon Gilbert, had led investigators to not only finding Shannon's body, but opened up a hunt for a Serial killer‼️
Now John Ray, suddenly feels Suffolk County PD need to pay him some attention as an OG, for some reason or another⁉️ The issue I have with his maniacal accusations, is that he's being disrespectful to the memories of the victims by turning their terrible, tragic individual stories of their final last week they were known and confirmed to be alive, and turned that into some conspiracy 'foil hat' freak show, and John Ray (representative for the murdered women found at Gilgo Beach!) Before today, I thought the man to be honourable, with an eccentric style for ''snazzy' suits. After today's mess, I can't help but reflect on his eye catching, suits and hats as his way to make sure you couldn't miss him, nor forget his name - which is a pretty low move when you're competing with murdered sex workers and insecure that your name isn't "up in lights" anymore‼️ ❤❤❤💕💙 RIP to those at Gilgo

He's going to claim that the family doesn't deserve to profit off of the murders with a reality TV show or movie bc clearly violence, rape, torture were glorified in the household and at least one of the family members takes pleasure in viewing those disturbing images.

Many people love horror movies and many of them have very disturbing content. Doesn't mean all these viewers are intimately involved with that content.
Sgt Cannon has said repeatedly, when talking about hairs and then mentions "BURLAP BAGS" as in potato sacks, which is inaccurate. I myself am a hunter, although I do not use camouflage burlap, commonly used for a blind, and BTW, I am not a duck hunter. But, it is sold, (I believe) in 4 foot rolls, and a person might buy perhaps 20 or 30 feet and stack the roll on end, in the corner of the house where the bottom of the roll will very likely collect random hairs from anybody in the family. And, then it is unrolled, cut off and used for whatever purpose? Those hairs, from other innocent family members are hardly proof of involvement in a crime, or that they helped wrap a body in camo burlap. And, the dusty corners, especially in that particularly dirty house, could easily accumulate quite a few hairs just waiting for that creep to bring the roll into the house and set it in the nearest corner, which is exactly where I myself would likely stack an awkward roll of burlap fabric. It is seriously jumping to conclusions, to connect family member's hairs with any involvement in these crimes. This is simple logic.
The press conference was irresponsible- HOWEVER, Victoria’s “art” and obsession with horrific images is not normal. It’s enough to take another look at what Asa was aware of. Clearly, Victoria is a victim- something dark was going on in the home.

I disagree with you. Please remember that this isn't an underage child. This woman is in her late 20's approaching 30! So why is everyone coddling and speaking of her like she's a child? If any grown woman, let alone one that as a true fact LIVED and was RAISED by a serial killer, had the same connections to murders and drew and liked murder and torture scenes and cannibal scenes, had a fascination with the macabre and had internet searches like she had, they would immediately be scrutinized. But, for some reason everyone is treating her so infantile and shielding her, when she is a grown woman who is completely capable of doing evil if she wanted to. I think there is alot more to this case. The woman they found in that area that opened this all up was calling 911 for help. She even thought the driver who took her was part of a plan to hurt her or kill. Maybe he was! I would not count anything out here And that woman is dead. What if Rex is part of a network of people. I think that could be a possibility. That family is not going to talk if they do not feel safe. They might not even feel Witness Protection would save them. A Hoarder, he lived in that house since in was a child? He ruled absolutely I think.
Wow that photo of Victoria on News Nation looks revealing. I think she knows something. He may have ruled that house absolutely. If he said don't go in the basement, they did not go in the basement. For all we know that whole family is terrified of him. They may think what if he gets out; he will kill us. They are not talking for fear of him. Are we so desensitized to violence that we think her paintings and the media art she follows is normal? Yes she is a daughter of a serial killer. It looks pretty damning for him and she might just be a victim. What did she grow up with and what did he expose her to? Even what did he tell her and did she disassociate from it just to stay alive? Does she have different personalities just to cope with the horror of her father? For you to make jest of this, I think is irresponsible. I think this should be looked into. The Sicko may have told her what he was doing and laughed about it and then threatened her as a child so she disassociated from it to escape. As far as her participating in the crimes who knows. What if she were forced to. Did she see something as a child and then disassociated from it. Did he hurt her as a child. Those are the kind of questions I ask.

Victoria is no little girl she is a twenty seven year old woman. She or her lawyer should be coming back on her behalf. Why are people in the US so set on running away when accused of anything.
For everyone saying that they think the daughter needs to be investigated….do you not think that the whole family has thoroughly been investigated already? The investigators probably know them all better than they know themselves. A young girl being interested in dark art does not make her a serial killer.

Remember: If VH can't be guilty by association with her father, then one can't be assumed to have the same ideas as someone just for standing alongside him. I am totally open to anything with this case. But I think he's right that it's fair to ask questions. I think the most important question he's asking is: Was this really a "double life situation?"

The only thing those posts and that artwork PROVE is that she has questionable taste in art. Mr. Ray is walking a fine line right at the edge of defamation. He’s an attorney, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

Regarding that "picture" of the naked body of a woman impaled with antlers in front of a marsh that was referred to in the press conference and also about 50-55 minutes in on your podcast, it is actually a "still" from the first season of the show Hannibal. That picture referenced a serial killer on the show who had an obsession with his own daughter but managed to NOT kill the daughter or involved the daughter in his crimes, though he tried (If I remember correctly), and he had a "thing" about that form of death. So it's not a drawing or painting!. That was a very popular show which I believe was on "regular" television and had Hannibal Lecter as a psychiatrist who helped with serial killer cases.
