Highway 192 leads to Hickory Tree Rd. where Maddie was found, it also leads to Gator Lake that Jen mentions. No way IMO did Jen guess what happened to Maddie with this accuracy if she didn’t know something. SS getting the flat disrupted the plans on leaving her at Gator Lake.
I'm really sick and tired of hearing that everyone reacts differently to stressful situations and shocking news. But there's no way that I can swallow that a mother who says she loves her daughter thinks of the man who hurt her before she gives two cents about her own child.
I couldn't swallow your poem written from poor Madeline Sotos perspective. .

Thank you Sgt Bill. I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this up. She was steering the Detectives away from St Cloud. Just my take.
Stephan was heading to the lake with alligators that Jenn mentioned, but he was waylaid by the flat tire. SS had incompetence as well as bad luck plaguing him that terrible day.
Alligators - no evidence then. It would become a missing person case - eventually a cold case.
If it wasn’t for the person seeing SS on the side of the road and reported it. They might never have looked there.

I totally agree, SS as told where to leave Maddie and the not the smartest guy in the room got a flat and left her there. Jen expected Maddie would never be found.

I heard if it was an app. like Telegram even the F B I. Have a problem getting information from that app The encryption makes it nearly impossible..Telegram obviously doesnt process financial transactions

I dont think she knew about SS murdering poor Maddy. But she knew about the abuse and she turned a blind eye. She didnt want to lose Sterns. I also think the reason he moved to his parents was because Jenn's dad owned the house and her family didnt like him. It wasnt Jenn breaking up with him, it was by necessity. Her folks had better knowledge of him than Jenn did

Some of her word choices hit the ear wrong. I wonder if she grew up bilingual, or in a Spanish speaking household.
She's very articulate in English despite the constant pauses. I find many of her responses unusual and concerning. Lack of empathy or terror one would display for their dead child. She's so "matter of fact" like doing a job interview

Mom and Dad are Puerto Rican … but they are strange too …. Grandma was so matter of fact also during her interview about Maddie missing .. zero passion Hispanics we aren’t like that we cry, we sob, we get mad, we show emotion
@@fabp4289 My ex was Cuban, and I'd have to agree with you 100%, he was very passionate and expressive, especially when it came to his family. As an English speaker exclusively myself occasionally some of his word choices would hit strange in my ears, and I wonder if that's some of what feels off with her interviews. The rest of what's off is obvious (she spoke in past tense, she never said anything positive about her child, and defended ss.) I'm curious about the not so obvious, if that makes sense.

"Every time I questioned him he always had an answer..." Yet she continued to let this guy into her house and in bed with her daughter. JenSo talks out of both sides of her mouth. He probably stole Maddie's birthday money - just like her Christmas money turned up missing one time. She knew Sterns was screwing her daughter. It's why she doesn't sleep with him anymore.
