Every road is dangerous if the driver is speeding.
Stop blaming the lights. People need to slow down.
I don’t feel sorry for any of them
You want to speed and drink 🍺 then you obviously don’t value your life or others lucky for them no innocent bystanders were hurt
Played stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Thankfully nobody innocent was hurt. I hope they can fix those trees.
Stop deleting my comments. Literally everyone agrees that nothing was lost. Again, for the millionth time: graduation isn't an excuse to drink and drive.
Be glad there were no innocent pedestrians around when it happened. You made a decision speeding on a street. Sometimes decisions come with consequences.
One of the victims who died has been identified as Stefan Michael Pfeiffer, an Eagle Scout. The 20-year-old was a student at Pasadena City College.
Co-workers say Esrom Fessemaye and the 22-year-old driver, Mohed Samuel, were also killed.
The drivers sister survived, no thanks to him.
Alcohol was found also - mix that w speed equals death
And the driver was formerly arrested for DUI.
Sad but they were breaking the law and they were drinking they knew what they were doing and have no regard for anybody else safety
🤷♀️ why were they going that fast and out that late?
Because they're cool and invincible!
Need to have speed cameras in LA County or these accidents will continue to happen. Noone drives the speed limit here in LA, always in a hurry. This is what Australia was like 30 years ago until they got serious about speeding.
Slowest Tesla is 272 horsepower. Kids shouldn’t have cars over 200 horsepower, too young and stupid to drive with little experience.
This is by no means trying to provide an excuse for whoever was driving that car, but I can tell you since I moved back to this town in 2007, Pasadena sucks. The traffic lights in this town are set so the next light in front of you turns red the moment the one you’ve been waiting at turns green. You are incentivized to speed. Some lights give traffic in one direction all the time in the world when there’s no traffic, and not enough time for the other direction to clear all of its traffic. Other lights go red at 4 AM in the morning for no damn reason other than to stop you. Take Colorado at Marion for example. Whoever’s in charge of the traffic lights in Pasadena is an wanker, and I want their job. A fifth grader could do better.
What does that have to do with speeding? They had alcohol in the car so chances are all were drinking and the speeding has zero to do with what you said.
For many people, a light that "turns red the moment the one you've been waiting for turns green" has a yellow light in between that is supposed to incentivize people to slow down, not speed up.
I know that area, and I know that intersection. The lights are not the problem, drivers have a choice of how to respond to them. 😟
Tragic. Right at graduation. Suffering families for decades. Before we condemn them, maybe we should each remember the stupid and dangerous things we did, especially when young. We are the lucky ones: we are still alive, and maybe don't have the guilt of the deaths of others....
So sad to hear ( again ) young people driving and drinking alcohol. Maybe in few years there will be a new bill to grant a driver license to any person until 35 years old or until maturity is proved.
Driver was drunk with a suspended license and going 100-plus mph in a 35 mph zone. Nobody to blame but this driver. Sorry but i know that route very well. It's not dangerous or deadly at all. At all. This dude made it dangerous. Thankfully nobody was around when he made himself into a human rocket.
Eagle scout. Smh. Kid had such a bright future.
Drinking in a tesla considered winners at Maranatha High Schools social media platform of course I just try to get a hold of my year book and from 1988 and they give me a problem including past records.
