tbh in skydiving a lot of things look way more scary then they r an instructor has 500+ jumps and had to go through specified training u open at 1700m and he open at 1000 and can be delayed until 500m thats 14-24 seconds of time for the instructor to pull ur chute in case ur instructor somehow fails and opening it ur cypress will automaticly open at 225m Failing in opening ur parachute is the most common mistakes students do This wasnt even anywhere close to a life death situation

slow it down. the pilot chute wasnt stuck. Be intentional and deliberate on your deployment. Slow is Steady, Steady is Smooth, and Smooth is Fast.
