Your sniffer keeps water out of the lines so they don’t freeze. The alcohol grabs the water and holds on to it from your compressor. Drain your sniffer every couple of days and refresh the juice. Same principle and Heet for your fuel tank in your car.
Will be moving from Florida to Alaska in the next 6 months Id love some good pointers ! I lived in Midwest my whole life Snow and Cold don’t scare me !
how do you find driving at a young age? how do you deal with being tired and staying awake. I wanna go trucking in the near future but i'm not sure how I'll handle the fatigue while driving
What's a driver gotta do to come home and drive? Got my CDL with tanker, doubles and triples but no Hazmat and can't find an opening. Been driving 7 years now and want to come home
Hey,Dawson what's the point of the plug outside then if it easily trips out????those extra lights on cab helped bud, need some shades 😎 bud, that was awesome trucking 🚛🚛 video great with the information about how you address problems or possible problems in extreme weather ❄️ conditions, man that was cold 🥶 just watching 👀 the video 📹 😂😂😂😂, be safe ❄️ 🙏🙏 out there pal, 👍👌
Hi from Australia mate i would not like to be driving on those road's have you seen the Australian 900 Kenworths the cab is about 300 mm higher be safe
@@TheAlaskaTrucker More clearance under the cab to help move more air out of the engine bay to remove the heat encountered in Australia. Not a problem thou in Alaska hey.
Hey Dawson, I just wanna give you heads up you don’t wanna get caught with your phone in your hand grabbing a commercial vehicle is a new laws are in a commercial vehicle. You can lose your license up to one year it’s called reckless and careless driving and would you advertising like that the laws got it got proof of you doing that so be real careful what you’re doing plus your insurance to go up to cause you get points on your license and you’re only allowed 100 points on your license and and on your airlines electrical cord, they cannot be touching your cat walk At all I’ll be careful good luck driving your truck. Be careful out there. It was a trip.
Well, it looks like we got a new subscriber here I’m Bill US Air Force sergeant retired Went cross country in freight shaker. Doublebunkcabover. Bedbugger lol
You only have farm couplings over in the americas? That is not good for pulling doubles like that, way too weak. unlesas you run light loads. what did you say the gross was? 85k lbs? that's like 37 tons. We don't really use farm couplings for anything over here in the nordics, except the swedish military for some reason used it up untill recently, so alot of military trailers and shit are that style of coupling. Otherwise we use VBG for drawbar applications. Way stronger, way more secure and also easier to use. also safer
Well driver if you were on with your differential on over 45 miles an hour hope you got a lot of money and when you checked on differentials out like that I didn’t good it’s not made for high-speed or height 70 or 80 mile an hour speed but it’s your truck would look
Yeah buddy! Blowing 30 and blizzard down in Juneau! Bummer about your other truck, especially after an overhaul. Hope they get to the root of it. Sounds like 19 has a wee bit of an exhaust leak! 🙃
Thank you for a good video. I am amazed on how poor the latch between the trailer and the dolly looks. It do work, as it is what is used in North America, but to an European it looks like something we used in mid 1900s. Since mid 70s, the only system that is used over here is the VBG-coupling that seems a lot more safe. If you have not seen a VBG coupling before, take a look at Edison motors clip when they were in Europe on a truck show.
after35 years and too many millions of miles under my old ass i do not miss that shit at all, i drove in europe for a few years and africa and australia. the trains. i do not miss that shit at all, and my back is paying for it my legs. my ass, i watch this shit to seehow many other nuts are out there lol
Dang AFF. That sucks they didn’t set up your set. At Lynden the yard guys hooked up the sets and have the sets lined up and ready to go for line drives and owner operators.
I pulled doubles and triples for years in Oregon. You do a pro job young man. Good job! Todd the retired trucker.
That's awesome! Thank you sir
Definitely got a new follower here

Wow man, how did you manage to mount the sun to the top of your truck?! Those lights are crazy.

I had an extension cord with a light on the plug side, worked like a charm.
Great video…That scenery never gets old…btw, if you see a wheel in hurricane gulch it’s mine…
The dolly tow bar may fly up if you unlock the pintle hook with the converter dolly still under the rear trailer.

enjoyed the video, is your oil temp gauge broken ? I seen the temp was below 100. I know it very cold outside, but figured it would make some heat

I always wondering why those trucks looked a little different there. Why do they make them taller?
