- Many artists have received a plentiful amount of Grammy Award nominations but have yet to get a win. Nicki Minaj is no exception to this, so today let’s investigate why one of the most prolific modern female artists and successful rappers has yet to win.
This is a topic that can lead more into the speculation side; we’ll start with our concrete evidence first and then build off of that. Knowing that the Grammys is a host to scandal, it can’t be far off to say foul play may be involved.
With huge hits such as “Anaconda”, her feature on “Bang Bang”, and her records “Pink Friday” and “The Pinkprint” being up for some of the biggest nominations of their respective ceremony, it still puzzles people why so far into her career, Nicki Minaj is losing out to newer artists despite her innumerable contributions to music and the massive success of her career.

There are many times when the Grammys loses credibility. For example, when Ed Sheeran won Best Pop Solo instead of Kesha, Justin Bieber's Yummy got nominated instead of The Weeknd, Demi, etc. And Nicki should have won that Best New Artist award. However, with or without Grammy, Nicki is the GOAT.
It's a shame how out of all the artists who were robbed and don't have a grammy, it seems like Nicki is the one who repeatedly gets dragged and clowned for it despite the immense success she's had in her career without one

I lost the little respect I had for the Grammys when 'the pink print' lost best rap album, that album set the standard for a lot of your favourite female rappers today - also pink Friday was such a staple but was still snubbed out of every category

The Grammys is a scam! Why do people even give attention to Scammys? Ever since the beginning they've never awarded the most deserving artists but their favorite artist. If I were an artist, I would never submit my music to people who downplay people's talent and artistry.

So many artists experience this Grammy snub. Some of rap music's most notable and influential stars have experienced the same situation as Nicki. Snoop Dogg has never won. TUPAC has never won. Notorious BIG has never won. Ice Cube has never won and more! Also some of pop's biggest acts have also never won. Katy Perry has never won. JLO has never won. QUEEN has never won. ABBA has never won. It's so sad that the Grammys have their biases and their favorites and there are so many artists with exceptional bodies of work and musical influence but they only get nominated and don't win. Sometimes they don't even get a single nomination. So sad.

reasons:
1. Nicki is considered "too commercial or gimmicky" by music industry critics.
2. Nicki was initially compared to grammy darling Lauryn Hill and musically and imagewise, Nicki is a character foil to Lauryn Hill grammy voters.
3. Nicki is now considered "old news" compared to newer artist like Cardi B and Megan Thee Stalian who easily won grammys upon coming out.
Why Cardi and Megan still cant sell out worldwide arenas? Why is Nicki outcharting them?

After the Grammys for whatever reason there may be decided to nominate Jay-Z for 11,12, I don't know 13 Grammy's, put him in the front row, with his daughter to not give him any Grammys for Me personally became the day they became totally irrelevant. It was actually rude and classless. If I was in charge and we had got the tallies together and I realized he was going to win none. I would have called an emergency meeting and say look we gotta fix this we can't invite him here and do that to him. I'm sure Jay-Z is a proud dad and wanted his daughter to see him win. If she’s considered the greatest female rapper of all- time then Nicki should have at least one Grammy award. People can scream politics all y’all want but honestly a lot of her music isn’t that great in my opinion.
