I think that we all have our favorites; I love the Disney content, travel/back road trips and the baseball outings. Not really a fan of the conventions but watch anyway. You are definitely a man of diverse interests, thanks for taking us along!
Adam, I am a native Floridian and I want you to know how much I am enjoying your "hometown" Florida series:) I'm 65 now but I remember driving on vacation going through these towns and seeing Citrus Trees for miles and miles. The towns were bustling with people back in the "olden days"- now not so many Citrus Trees and not so many bustling towns but I remember and want to Thank You for the updates. Your one in a million Adam and you have a knack for knowing what people want and need to see in these times. I wish you all the best life has to offer. Your such a good person.
The small building on the golf course was the Pro Shop. My Grandparents lived there 40 years. My Great Grandparents lived in Babson Park. The Mini Mac was once owned by the Macalisters. There was a Grocery Store and Post Office that was the "heart" of Babson Park.
As a UK resident who visited Florida for vacation every year for over 40 years, I love your videos showing the old small towns and history of earlier Florida. I also enjoyed driving to out of the way non tourist towns and exploring the old buildings. I'm too old to visit the USA (80 years) now due to health reasons. I love viewing your videos, brings back so many wonderful memories of my time in your wonderful State.
Your travel vlogs are my favorites! You are the best at finding interesting places to visit. I always look forward to these. I and love historical places.
I'm 26 and I honestly dream of taking trips like these makes me feel like I'm there when I watch your hidden small town back road videos. Thank you Adam
My son lives in Frostproof. It was awesome to see your tour of the area. We live around 2 hours away so always feel like we are going back in time when drive to go visit him.
Loving these kinds of vlogs from you, Adam! It's great to see around the areas away from all the tourist spots, and see the real Florida 😊 That church is absolutely beautiful!
This trip was to the area I grew up, Babson Park. I used to go to the old hotel. There was a bar, restaurant and several stores. In the 70s, the baseball team, Washington Senators stayed at the hotel
The bags are to help keep the trees safe from "greening" disease. It is carried by a very small mite. The disease was devastating to most of the citrus trees in Florida. It was so bad that many municipalities were cutting down and burning all citrus, even on private land. I lost a beautiful variegated pink lemon and a tangerine tree to the disease.
I really could watch these videos all day I love them I was thinking about doing this type of video on my channel all around the back roads of great Britain great video 👍🎃
I visit a lot of the small towns in NC and love the architecture. The workmanship and the designs from the turn of the century through the 60's facinate me. Wish they'd save more of these historical structures.
Super video Adam..one strange thought when you showed that house which was a lab..made me think of the house in the original Spider-Man series from the 60’s where that one armed scientist turned himself into that Lizardman villain.
On the clip about the Barrel restaurant...you see the two dogs but if you look again you see a giant dog face in the middle of the whole picture very very faded. It's as big as the whole picture almost but like a faded ghost image. So there are actually 3 dogs. Very cool pic!
A lot of those towns dried up with the demise of train travel. As folks took to the highways the interstate bypassed a lot of those small towns. It's good to see that some of that has been preserved.
Bok towers in Lake Wales is a beautiful place to vist... have taken our children and now our grandchildren... great job on the videos .. really enjoy them thank you.
Thank you! There really is so much forgotten beauty to see here in Central Florida. Actually, all over Florida, if people would just slow down and take the time to look.
🔥A lot of those buildings looked like old Auto Dealerships, and also some mechanics shops, gas stations...probably a thriving automotive area at one time....Lovin’ these backroad videos..👍🏻
Wakula Springs in North Florida has a beautiful historic lodge that is open still as well as some great filming locations from creature from the black lagoon
Visiting treasure island Florida for the week. We just got back from taking back roads to Okeechobee Florida and going through small towns... hubby and me enjoy visiting back road towns also. Do this at home all the time and vacations . Thank you for your vlogs
Hi, this is 100% exactly what I have always wanted to do. I would love to visit all the little towns everywhere. You are SO BLESSED to be able to do just that. Man, I wish I could be just like you. Thank you for taking us along. We are living through you.
YES I saw the hanging moss and immediately think of childhood Orlando camping and exploring ‘the woods’ after school. Still in Orlando and still plan to let my son explore the woods, too.
Love these kind of your videos. We want more! I’ll never forget my trip to Florida- the small towns between Orlando and Gainesville. Saw our first gators. An egret devour a frog. Came across a photoshoot with a masked guy on a carousel horse - shooting an album cover? A house under a roof. Memorable stuff. Keep it coming
1961 was a good year! The year I was born. Coweta County Georgia.. love your videos of the small towns. We used to be a small town. Not anymore. I miss those days 😪
I love seeing all of the back roads and quirky things you find along the way. Especially in Florida. I have seen some really neat stuff off the beaten path down there. Thanks!
I used to live in Spring Hill Fl population 119,000 people and really did not like it, way too many people. Then I recently moved to Tavares Fl and love it. Population estimated at 18,500 people. The downtown area is very quaint and historic as is the town of Mount Dora. There are plenty of antique shops and also has a lot of history. These town and more are part of central Florida and I believe would be of great interest for up coming videos of "Hidden Small Towns in Central Florida". As you would travel north on SR 441 heading towards Ocala there are a number of towns that might just fit your requirements for hidden small towns. Just a thought for you to capture more of the small hidden town experience of central Florida. Let me know your thoughts on this, okay? Bill
Another lovely historical trip round the back roads of Florida. I do this myself when I’m in Florida. Great to see something other than the tourist trail.
I love these out of parks experience. We really like the smaller surrounding towns near Orlando. We've only done a little exploring so this was really fun.
I loved all the stuff on display in Fort Meade, especially that old crank-start tractor! I’m sure if it could talk, it would have some stories to tell! That local just chilling and enjoying a cigar on a nice day, that’s the life man!!!
I enjoy the off the beaten path adventures! Your backroad adventures are always enjoyable! The murals are wonderful. Forgotten towns have a history that I like to research. Thank you!
Great video! Love these little slices of country that I'd otherwise never, ever get to see. Your road trip and small town videos are my favorites. Thanks Woo!
I love it!! Always like stopping in the "out of the way" places on road trips! What a simpler time & beautiful architecture. Nothing better than finding these hidden treasures! Thanks for sharing!
many thanks for sharing your sojourns, as a native st. petersburger, i can safely believe you are helping redefine florida man! (for the better)live long & prosper☯️
Love your trips thru the back roads. I share your passion for the architecture as well. I’m thinking that structure in Highland Park was pro shop for the golf course. Checked on its history and back in the day it was truly a Mecca for the golfing community. Several years back it’s landlords tried to give it a go but sadly we’re not able to resurrect it. Safe travels Woo 👍👍
I love your backroads adventures. If your dad was with you he would have a story about something he saw in each town. Even if he had not been there. I just love that. Words from the wise!
@TheDailyWoo I love these backroad videos that you've been doing lately. I always appreciate when you get out of the parks and show off some classic Americana... I always find it fascinating that you find buildings in the middle of nowhere that have been abandoned for years, yet are still standing and have never been torn down. Keep up the good work!
It's my understanding that the bags on the young fruit trees are #1 to keep bugs and deer from eating the new growth and to keep bees from pollinating the blossoms until the tree is strong enough to support the weight of the fruit.
Thank you for sharing these old communities that time seems to be from a different time. Also enjoy the movie/television locations, them Park vides and walk though you past and I hope you are able keep the excellent work up for years to come no matter what you face.
We took back roads to get from Bradenton back to kissimmee last summer...the phosphate mines blew my son's mind and the little towns we found really interesting. So, I really love this video.
Hi Adam, watching from the UK really enjoy these adventures that show the real America very sad to see so much abandoned though. Keep up the good videos they are really worth watching.👏👏👍👍
My dad moved us to this part of Florida the year Disney opened. We came from north New Jersey so it was a culture shock for me a young teen. He became one of the head administrators for one of the big phosphate mines. I did however learn to love this part of Florida. My dad was actually ask to name a lake on the property owned by US Agrichem so it could be properly put on the map. He named it after my mom and it’s hidden by Fort Meade. I left the area in the late 80’s. Your lovely video brings me back home for sure. Thanks so much for sharing this with all to see. God bless.
These backroad adventures aren’t for everyone but I truly love visiting out of the way places . More to come
The backroad adventures are my fave videos. Keep 'em coming as far as I'm concerned!!

Sand hill cranes can bite me... 14:02
There's just a certain charm to small towns.. it almost feels like traveling back in time.
Agreed . It’s the best
Frostproof just had a major murder about a year ago. Absolute maniac out of prison killed young kids.
@@rstefanie2622 omg! 😳😔
Why am I sad that the awesome 96 year old golf course was no longer in use? 🥲 In FL. :)
To a time when half the population had opioid addictions, received welfare checks, and had an ultra high divorce rate. Amen.
This is my favorite Adam content and a welcome relief from the other vloggers all doing the exact same Disney stuff every day! Awesome video!
I am just loving these videos maybe it’s because I’m getting older; but a look back to dreams and memories from the past is good for the soul.
Well said. I feel the same 👍
Agreed!
I'm really glad you're back to exploring small-town America for a while, you really are good at it and your videos are excellent.
The small building on the golf course was the Pro Shop. My Grandparents lived there 40 years. My Great Grandparents lived in Babson Park. The Mini Mac was once owned by the Macalisters. There was a Grocery Store and Post Office that was the "heart" of Babson Park.
I'm lovin' these trips through *backroads' Americana... thanks, Adam👏 🛣

Background adventures are literally my favourite ATW shows
Even though Disney brings me to Florida I've always wanted to explore the state. Thanks for spreading out and vlogging us along ❤
Lots of great places near the theme parks . A much different vibe
I'd love to see where they filmed doc hollywood 😏

Old Florida, Real Florida - the BEST part of Florida! Thank you, Adam!
I love these type videos. Back to simpler times. We need a little of that now in this fast pace world. Thank you for sharing Adam.
Man, that little town of Frostproof is very majestic! Enjoying these back road adventure series!!
My son lives in Frostproof. It was awesome to see your tour of the area. We live around 2 hours away so always feel like we are going back in time when drive to go visit him.

These are so much better than the theme park videos. Love it!
Exactly. The cult of Disney is so old. Given Disney recent actions I refuse to watch or be part of their money grubbing schemes.
I Love Your Backroad Adventures ~ So Much History That Shouldn't Be Forgotten in These Itty Bitty Towns 🌹
Very interesting and relaxing. I had never seen those citrus tree bags/nets to protection from insects. Thanks for all you do.
The bags are to help keep the trees safe from "greening" disease. It is carried by a very small mite. The disease was devastating to most of the citrus trees in Florida.
It was so bad that many municipalities were cutting down and burning all citrus, even on private land. I lost a beautiful variegated pink lemon and a tangerine tree to the
disease.
I love driving thru and exploring small towns. It's sort of magical.

These are without a doubt my favorite videos that you produce. Great work on these as always..
Super video Adam..one strange thought when you showed that house which was a lab..made me think of the house in the original Spider-Man series from the 60’s where that one armed scientist turned himself into that Lizardman villain.
I'm fascinated by these old towns you travel through. Suspended in time.
I love the Disney vlogs but I do like the mix of videos thrown in as well.
So glad yu r here. I needed to hear your uplifting video. Wednesday here.
Hope you have a good day
The vintage bicycle looks like it was well loved and travelled; almost looks like it’s never been ridden down a slide, lol!
🤣
You missed Big the Foot atop the Ft. Meade landfill just north of Ft. Meade at Pembroke on 98. I was hoping you would see him.
Thank you for these type of vlogs! So enjoyable to see these charming towns that we would otherwise not know existed.
Amazing 👍
