I love the Spice and Tea Exchange in Mt Dora. It's a little shop that has a big variety of Teas, Spices, Herbs, Sugars, Salts, Custom Blends, Honey, Olive Oil and all kinds of accessories. All of those Spices, Teas, Herbs, Salts and Custom Blends are in jars that you are encouraged to open and smell. This makes this place so enjoyable and addicting, especially if you're hungry. I love to cook and since I stumbled across this little shop, it's always on my list to visit.
A new tip could be to enjoy the night out. There's the cool lit alleyway with live music outside Maggie's Attic, short walk over to The Funky Monkey in the Renaissance building and then The Handlebar on top of the Mt Dora Marketplace.
Nice video. In general I am not a lake person I am a beach person but this is nice. We have a pomme frites in NYC. Fries are prepared in the Belgian style, deep fried twice at two different temperatures. The shop was opened by Susan Levison, a Bronx native, in January 1997 after returning from a backpacking trip through the low countries. This looks nicer than any New England town I know of!
Hi Chad your channel piped up on my feed as we are moving back to Fla and I have been watching shows on things to do. I’ve been gone a while. I recognized your voice! You had a show on PBS about entrepreneur’s and new unique startups- Am I right? I watched it all the time. I love your channel and will be looking forward to visit the different towns! Thank you for the content. 😊🙏🏻
This video is awesomeness!! I love Mt. Dora and have lived in the Golden Triangle for 35+ years. ❤️ I would love to offer you a free class at my new shop in Eustis called Crafted Scent Bar!
You can literally park for free in the neighborhoods surrounding Amy Dora and there are 5 parking lots! Might need to get here early. But we have loads of parking including a parking garage! It’s hot everywhere in the summertime. Also, there are 3 wells kept public restrooms. Very nicely planned tourist town!
Have dinner at Goblin Market and watch the sunset at Pisces Rising!
Yes! The sunsets from Al fresco dinners at Pisces makes Mt. Dora worth every second!
Goblin Market small plates and wine, the library vibe is all so lovely.

The lakeside inn is definitely one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at
Know it well! Born & raised in Umatilla. Gateway to the Ocala National forest!

Me and my Wife, LOVE Mount Dora, I would definitely recommend this place to visit.
We agree!
Love your channel! We watch your videos for great ideas on what to do at the different Florida locations we camp at. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Will do!
Love Mt Dora. Been going to their art shows every year since 2000: great place to visit.
My family just had a great day in Mount Dora. This video was a big reason for that. Thanks Chad! Keep up the good work.
Awesome to hear! We were just there ourselves on Christmas Eve.
Can't forget Village Antique Mall!
Windsor Rose Tea Room is always visited by us. Unique taste of England.
No longer there…sorry to report.
Fiesta Grande on Baker is a must!
Great video! I’d add Artisans art gallery featuring 35 local artists.
The Art Festival, a juried art event, is held annually on the first weekend in February. That is the largest event here, exceeding the craft fair. FYI
I do a lot of work in the Lake County area and it honestly is such a beautiful area. Lido Key is probably one of the prettiest areas ive worked at.
Really nice there Chad. Thanks for the video
I have been to Mt. Dora and Reningers many times but not in the last few years. Wish I had known about some of these places.
Cool video! We live in St. Augustine but are heading to Mount Dora for a day trip. Your video was helpful.
Glad it was helpful!

Excellent video, thank you
Visited in the 90’s & it felt somewhat dated (retirees vibes) in the business district. But time passes & good towns keep up to date. This one has😍🤩
Chad, great video!! I would like to add #11 for Eat At Jeremiah's on Highland St. Great burgers, wings and atmosphere.
The 5th Avenue Streatery is classy food . Huge fried mushrooms an much more
love that area.

Thanks for sharing 👍
Any karaoke in that town?
No. 11, find a parking spot on the weekend.
Can you ride a bike on the board walk and onto the island?

We’d love that Mellisa! Eustis is another one of our favorites! Thank u.
No TV? Most everyone carries their own tv now.
#11 Pet the alligators
You can?!!
Add to the list, venomous spider/snakes and alligator infested water. Oh and no parking can't forget that, so 100+ degree weather means swamp butt.
Tell us more, please!

I looked it up and you are right , cotton mouth snakes , and spiders and gators
I guess you can't swim there.
Mount Dora is geared towards women.
Unless you drink.
As a straight man, I'm down with that!
Watch a show @ the IceHouse theatre. 🎭
