I like the look of that bike, I could use it as my town and commute to work machine and those panniers actually suite it really well to my eye.

Review was more than Good Mark so don’t worry.
The price seems a little heavy but, as mentioned the TC Super Socco Max is half the range … you’re paying for more range and arguably, this bike is much nicer looking.
Would be interesting to do a side by side with the TC max. I must say, the panniers and tip box make this bike look even more grown up.
The quality will improve I’m sure.

I'm German owning a garage without power outlet. Household sockets for garages aren't part of the local plan towards electric mobility. Do public sockets exist anywhere? I could get along with that bike as is, charging at work and using it mainly to commute there. But I 'd be much happier with something allowing to take the battery out and charge it at home. An ability to fill an empty battery during a single shift at work seems also needed, to make the bike's range "real".
Getting such a bike looks like a tough, environmentalistic enthusiasm fueled, decission to make... My current 125ccm was 2K2€, next would be 2K8. My annual fuel consumption is below 250€. Considering that I 'd have to save up for a battery replacement and electricity is about 0.3€/kWh an e-bike probably has to need zero maintenance to ever break even. But without quick charging it is a one trick pony demanding a 2nd vehicle for travelling and vacations which are, although no real fun, at least doable on a 125ccm.
I suppose I 'd be happiest with a hybrid. Considering my pretty short commuting distance I could also see myself riding a converted MZ or buying an e-bike with much shorter range. Considering battery cost I'd love to see a modular solution where the user can add a 4th third of capacity, when suddenly needed, after a couple of years. - No clue if BMSs could handle such but it feels like a feature worth paying for.

What up with the rev counter, and the speedo (I'm sure I saw it read 0 when you were riding), and it only seems to have a third gear. Bit worried about the quality based on that. But it mostly looks good. Question is where would I (as someone who isn't direct on the road and has no off road parking) would charge it.
I think its still a generation or two away from prime time for electric bikes, at least for me and my commute.

Excellent review (as usual) & a smart looking bike too! The range and charging times will hopefully improve in the future. At the moment they’re perfect for city and short trips, but outside of these areas the worry of not getting home plus the restriction of not travelling further than 45 miles distance (90 mile round trip) is a real pain too. Maybe bikes could be hybrid like certain cars are🤔
Keep the videos coming, really enjoy them👍

Nice bike, but with some limitations. 10-12 hour battery charge time is way too long. Then there is the range, always a worrying thing with an electric vehicle. Recommendations for charging & discharging electric vehicle batteries are; Do not charge above 80% & do not discharge below 20%. This is to prolong the life of the battery, the manufacturers & distributors not always keen to tell people this. So, with this in mind, the range would be considerably reduced. Then last, but not least is the price. Although cheap for an electric bike, I purchased my new Yamaha MT-03, a much more capable machine of better quality for less money...🤔

Interesting bike! Unlike most Chinese electric offerings, this one I have not actually seen in the domestic Chinese market, so that’s interesting as you mentioned, let’s say a similar model from the manufacturer in a different spec, is on aliexpress. I really like the looks of this bike, though a read of the comments section seems like I am in the minority. Good vid, shame about the weather!

So £6300 with 5 year warantee?
That's sounding a lot more reasonable to be fair compared with livewire etc.
Range is ok ish, Recharge time is dreadful, speed a bit on the slow side for me but livable.
So reliability and customer service needs to be seen, what happens when it goes wrong regarding riding something, do they provide courtesy bike till it's fixed?

There's not much doubt that it will be Chinese that capture the mass market in electric bikes, but they have to crack fast charging first. It may be that there isn't a cultural leisure riding thing of bikes in their market yet. As it stands that range would suit me but I'm very much in the minority with 50-70 miles being the max I'd be doing on a ride out. It would definitely go on any list if I was looking at a new bike.

    Honda CB125R is £4,399 new.
    126kgs
    70mph eventually
    up to 100mpg reported.
    No range issues!
    FARSTA for £5,500?
The Farsta has to claw back £1100 somehow to get level with the Honda - that's a LOT of miles ...my guess 10,000+miles(petrol,servicing) or 2 or 3 years.
EVs are not particularly green to produce vs the Honda- 85(say)mpg ICE isn't a big emissions worry.
    Range issues - 120miles/day.
Unproven manufacturer - will it stop one day? - vs a Honda !!!
!!! Ten year life of the motorcycle- the battery will be dead or unacceptably reduced range - throw the bike away after that or spend £3,000 or so(?) on a new battery....the Honda will be still going, CB125s are still around from the 1970s.
Bars - too high yes- better acceleration and range if the rider was more prone.
Slow charge only is good - fast charges knacker battery life, so it's a trade off.
Merry Christmas - love the format and quality - no, it was all good !

It is very bulky for a 125 equivalent and a 180 rear tyre is ridiculous. Think of the cost of replacement for the commuting market it is aimed at. It looks cheap and overstuled. If you want a commuter a scooter makes far more sense. If you want a bike then you can spend £5k much better.

@@motorsforthemasses At full charge i drive to work with relative confidence. Work trip is 85km. Rider weight isd 97kg + backpack + gear, 110kg all together. I drive about 40km at speeds 50 to 65 kmh and about 45 kmh at speeds 65 to 85 kmh. At work i recharge, its a close call isit full after 8.5 hours. When i arrive at work, the battery meter says its at about 50%, but i dont belive it, because last 30% of battery drains really fast.
By the numbers, 72V battery of 100AmpereHours, out of a battery, 80% is usable, it gives you 5760 Watt hours. Most electric 2 wheelers go 30watt hours to 60watt hours per kilometer. 5760 whatt hours divede to 60whatt hours and you have 96km range. If you drive economicly at 30 whatt hours to km you get range 192km. Thouse numbers are on spot to what i get.
      Sum total:
      1. 84km commute is duable if you have a possiblity to charge at both ends. EDIT: AT best, some kind or roof, wind/rain protection. Probably bike weather protection cover will do. What you dont want, is to have rain pouring on charger, or direct sunlight, bot can and will cause .. well..fire accident basicly. Also in big citys, security of the place you charge trhe bike, aslo and factor.
      2. 25amp charger is really handy, to cut charging times. And i still would use slow charger for occaisions that i can charge overnight to preserve battery for long term use.
      3. Driving/handling geometry is just nice, spot on for 180cm new driver. At speeds above 75kmh, i do miss a windshield, and that will be the next project.
      4. 120 amp hour battery, if you can get it, is also nice. The little extra that saves the day.
      5. Rack at the back, would be nice, but that i can make myself.
      6. Manufacture calaming 210km range, at 50kmh is probably achivable with no great effort, my longestr drive between charging so far is 140km, and this is still 5th or 6th full charge, and it takes some time for li-ion battery to achive full potential.
The most important thing; this is commuting capable. Many, many manufacters build bikes for 20 year old elven blue blood millionares, who go off to drive around Los Angeles or Hollywood central, just for fun ands 30km at a time. And while that is possible, 99,99% of customers need electric bikes for something else. That means range, windscreen, cargo rack, a mlittle weather protection for legs, etc. Who can provide it, will be the Henry Ford of our time.
So pelase forget 25000 usd/euro dream cafe racrs, and builf 4000 to 7000 euro electric commuters. And this bike, its close... very close.
