Both are great bikes. However to be fair, the Sinnis is the cheaper version. It has a smaller dimension fork, a more simple central frame with fake trellis to make it look like the Benelli. Furthermore the engine is the same basic unit, but Sinnis cheaped out and made it a 2-valve head instead of the Benelli 4-valve head. They also ditched the twin-spark ignition, the replaceable proper oil filter of the Benelli, and the oil level sight glass also featured on the Benelli. All these things add up to something that is more “Chinese”, less desirable, and less of a real bike. At least that is my opinion.
The Benelli is also 2bhp more powerful due to 4 valves and twin-spark. The torque is ofcause the same, but the Benelli comes alive at high rpm where as the Sinnis dies off above 8k.
I owned and ran the tnt owners group on facebook and best mod is ngk cr7hsa plugs and ngk plug caps as they are poor and right one keeps popping off, sound good with an aftermarket pipe and actually a bit better than a msx/grom in some respects comfort wise and up hills.
P.s i have had 2 groms, better quality but i paid 2k new for the tnt opposed to over 3k now for a grom, tnt more comfy, better suspension, 5 speeds, sounds good out the box, grom needed extra money to change crap seat, poor rear shock and oil in forks for thicker stuff and an aftermarket exhaust so its a no brainer really but lack of aftermarket parts and tuning ability on the tnt lets it down should you want more power and bling.
I would pick the Akuma any day. The seat just looks more comfortable and it's better for short riders like me. But Benelli has cheaper insurance and Akuma looks like the Brutale which is my fav bike.
@@JamieLee. yeah I use it for commuting to work 60 miles round trip it sits at 60 comfortablely with me on it. I have ridden it round Norwich no issues at all to be fair it's small and can nip down anywhere on it.
The side stand hitting the floor and you don't think that's an issue? These bikes are essentially for learners i don't think a novice or daily commuter for that matter will enjoy that feeling when doing "normal" riding, any biker knows you have to be on high alert 24/7 so having an issue with the side stand round subtle corners hitting the floor is beyond a stupid and ridiculous design fault, that reason alone id go Benelli.
Hi , mark I’ve just bought a 2022 tnt , I previously had a 2019 monkey which was written off , I’d been trying to do 1000 mile in a week on it and got up to 950 when a jeep had other ideas!! I missed it so much I vowed not be be with a small bike again , since then I’ve 2 groms and a mokeybike the five speed models , the benelli is a great bit of kit , I’ve done 6000 miles on the groms and monkey combined this year, 500 on the benelli so far I’m impressed, it tops out at 68 mph, larger fuel tank , front forks are better and the brake are better too , it’s a looker too, yes people are going to say it’s Chinese ( but do they actually own a Chinese bike !! ) I’ve bought to to compare it to the Hondas and yes I’m impressed , I’m going to buy the sinnis akuma next , theses small bike are a riot , yeah big bike are great , but if you want fun go small ,their a blast , more miles and smiles guaranteed 🏍🏍🏍🏍👍👍👍👍
just got the benelli tnt. its may 2021 model with 1k mls on it. fitted michelin pure power tyres, and a tail tidy. the headlight is weird at night, better holding the pass button or you have a rubbish main beam as the dip goes out.
I ride at night every night commuting from work through a deer infested canyon. The TNT light where absolutely not acceptable. I love everything about this tnt 135 except the lights. I just ordered a rigid led bar from steady garage that mounts under the headlight. I am really hoping that will more then fix my nighttime driving dilemma. Put a chimera straight pipe muffler delete and my TNT SOUND DOPE! Super loud and growling. TNT 135 ALL DAY BABY!
@@motorsforthemasses Off camera eh 😉 Small wheels are better for acceleration so makes sense. Big wheels make for a smoother ride and better top end experience
Hi mate if your city is of low traffic volume, and you do not need to use the motorway (it is called highway in US?), and you are not over 6ft, then it is a good bike for the beginners. Make sure you do go to the shop and test ride it before paying. Always negotiate the price mate!
If it wasn't for the Akuma's headlight i would have a hard time picking one of them. The Sinnis Akuma looks like a Honda Grom, a Benelli TNT and a Ducati Monster had a threesome (aka "menáge à trois"), and the Sninis Akuma one was born.✌😆
Lol at 10:30 when them seagulls started making a fuss i thought it was some madness going on outside my house... took a few pauses to figure out the sound was coming from the video...
Splitting hairs ,there both cool looking bikes, great value compared to the Grom, better still I would prefer the retro Honda Monkey bike for it simplicity but pricey $$$ :-(
Great vid 👍 does the Benelli still have a 4v head? A surprising lack of tuning parts for that engine. I thought tuning companies would be all over it (engine parts, not exhaust)
@@motorsforthemasses take the fairings off and powdercoat the frame and you have a naked bike. Might be fun to watch if you take a old japanese banger and do it up just to compare it to what you can get new (sinis).
@@motorsforthemasses true ,take a look at spikeys youtube channel hes owned one for a year or 2 and now wants rid of it due to problems, but as you say not sure how much abuse its had.
I don't get the small wheels. I know they're trying to compete with the Grom, but you hardly see any in the UK, so why bother? People who live and work on the Mediterranean coast will lap them up, but not here.
The Sinnis looks utter ponk and thats coming from an ugly duckling vstrom 1000 owner! No doubt the sinnis is a rust bucket too like every other sinnis also that stand scraping would bother me. The Benelli looks thought out, the sinnis looks like its been thrown together with mixed parts by a blind designer.
Interesting. I feel that was one of its best features. All tastes are different and that shows we all love different things. Makes riding more interesting.

TNT for the win. Had one for 2 years, rode it through sun, wind and snow. No issues.
I would pick the Akuma any day. The seat just looks more comfortable and it's better for short riders like me. But Benelli has cheaper insurance and Akuma looks like the Brutale which is my fav bike.
The 4v head and oil cooling put the Benelli ahead for me.
The sinus had a better shaped wheel, so round then ! Wonder what the fuel capacity is and how much you get out of a tank
They have different looks. Sinnis looks like a naked bike and the Benelli has the looks of a supermoto. Like the TNT better.
Sinnis looks 100x better tbh
Another awesome video, happy, funny and lots of info. Thank you 🅰️➕
I have a Honda grom only in Gorleston and will be popping down to have some bits fitted more than welcome to have a go 👍
Hi, do you use it for commuting? Wondering how many miles it's comfy over, and have you rode it in Norwich, if so was it scary or not?

Benelli looks way better I am currently looking at getting the tnt135 here in Australia love your review lol there funny
And who doesn't like a bit of guff. Great review guys I'm with Malcolm on this one I prefer the benelli TNT.
Fuel injection? I like the Akuma better. Thanks
Yes, all euro 4's are except for a couple of geared 50's
I'm loving my 21 135 Benelli. I own 22 Grom also but stock the only advantage with the Grom is resale value especially in Victoria Australia
Which is the better ride?
On can you ride it OK on 60mph Country lanes
great vid guys, gotta be the TNT though !! even tho the seat on the Binelli is like a paving slab, helps you getting off for a leg stretch :)

Any suggestions on what aftermarket exaughst to fit on the akuma?

The Lexmoto XTRS totally caught you! 🎉
Actually, we pulled away from the lights at the same time, so as you brought subject up, the Sinnis left the Lexmoto standing!

I think they are made for making fun, enjoying and increasing a sense of control, not really for commuting, long travelling or racing (of course).
I heard they are called "play bikes" 👍

I'd love either one...or a Honda Grom.
They both look amazing, thinking of getting the TNT... just for fun... what the top speed of either one?
they tell you at 21.26 its 65+mph depends on rider weight and wind direction
tnt because can get the Akuma in my contery and Honda Grom is just to expansive cost 4x the tnt

Well....Bullit have one coming out very soon. We will get it to review.

Yes, indeed
Sinnis akuma, all day long. I believe that the engine is produced under license from Suzuki.
not all sinnsi ones do. i think the one on the akuma is a cbf copy. same with the lexmoto zsxf and the sinnis hoodlum and the sinnis rsx
@@jismy012 Yes, correct!

The Akuma for me
Sinnis all the way. But my old 2005 cbr125r would probably still run as good as both those bikes

seen a few people have problems with the tnt, gearbox problems, fuel injection problems, lets hope the sinnis is better

Chris, my MOT tester is almost 60, rides a fireblade.....and loves his TNT
The Grom is embarrassing ugly, and slower than either of these bikes.
Sinnis looks 100x better tbh
theyre literally identical. both are grom copies. you could just pick on price theres no difference apart formt that

Useless at night. Looks great yea but like I said. The only downfall. Easily fixable with an au I’ll dry like set up though
