- I've been rewatching this again and again. The cheater is using an Aimbot, Wallhack, a radar, enemy Health / Armour status, and Speedhack for weapons. All possible cheats are enabled.

There is no point in cheating in Arena FPS games. Even if you done your best to hide it, ANY QPL or good player is going to know you're cheating. You won't win money, and you for sure won't win any respect from anyone. Just sad.

@@koffe- totally works, not like youll ever have to go to a quake con lan (or any other comp lan) n get shat on. definitely wont happen because of somethin crazy like, oh idk. instead of building your skills youve been relying on cheats to get you to that point. thats just entirely.

Depends on the complexity of the cheat... some aimbots have locking system.... nothing you do will stop it especially if the cheater is of comparable skill. 😂

@@bibblebabl My guess is that development for Quake Champions has wound down to a skeleton crew, and so there isn't enough people managing customer relations to quickly ban people, like in CS:GO for example. It's sad, I think Quake Champs is a much better game, but apparently I'm in the minority.
@@TheRealFaceyNeck they don't always ban people quickly in csgo either, vac is fucking awful. infintely better than qc though obviously since it has no anti-cheat at all. and if you have a private cheat, vac doesn't stand a chance, nor do most other anti-cheats.

indeed, this is getting me off the game big time. Huge fan of Q but slowly those cheats make it very poor. I might not be the super skilled one but I know hack when i see one. Used to play against aV3k a lot and there is no way some ppl run lg or rail with that much DM instantly and you run them down and its still 100HP.
4 years the game has no anti-cheat.

He had all the hax. wall, fire rate/dmg, movement speed. If Rapha had continues playing like he did the first 9 frags, he might have won, they where even, which is proof of his extreme skills
This is just the same as when you get a hacker on your own team in csgo. Dunning-kruger effect prevents lower skilled players from knowing how it looks like when a good player peeks/moves/makes decisions so its instantly obvious that they cheat. Kinda like "nobody who moves that bad is that bad at aiming".
Then again we should always remember that if a really good player decides to cheat its impossible to eye test him since his natural skill allows him to hide it if hes humble enough to not go overboard...
Totally nailed it however, being a good player that decides to use hacks to elevate their status is contradictory to being a 'humble' individual

You can already tell a cheater just by their anime or cartoon avatars and their dumb immature insults&12 yr old player names. Psychology of cheaters is easy, like little children; they're primarily projecting their problems & inadequacies onto other people. I many times find cheaters with about 4/5 accuracy across any game, if reporting works I never see them again. Beat or compete with the cheater fairly? He says you must be cheating. Be smarter? He thinks smarter players must be cheating too. It's sad as it never used to be like that.. it's usually the scummy people and they ruin any game, so once that happens usually I leave the game, and probably better players will leave as it becomes obvious cheating that isn't stopping; it becomes like an effort while inferior people are allowed to cheat at something others mastered or were just better at. It isn't even funny in a way like these cheaters are rage hacking dumb college kids and 12 yr olds, it's more like their actual IQ is so low they thought no one will notice that the best players in fps would not notice that they are just bad and have 100% accuracy. Same thing happened in CS and the other games about 2 to 3 years after release.

literally half of the tf2 matches youll get put in these days is basically that, theres also a csgo community who does exactly that on private servers.

i feel like keel would be best counter for hacks like this. These morons will hit 100% anyway so why not go heavy for good respawn stack + keel nades can wipe the floor with those noobs around corners and zone them from just jumping on ur head with perfect aim.

yeah the dev team or anyone wont do anything about it if a normal player reports but they only listen to pro and mostly because they got it on stream .

Happened to me when i asked a guy to 1v1 me LG, he had 2% higher accuracy but i kept dying with him still having 80 hp and some armor. He played dumb like nothing was wrong. I do not understand cheaters.

I can say I am facing lots of hackers everyday, I thought I was really bad, but this confirms my suspicions.
Real hackers are people who write software that does all these tricks. It takes a lot of knowledge. This here is just some random looser who knows how to run an exe.

So I guess ruining the game's input etc. with this always online and running the game through servers didn't help to stop cheaters. Now please just port the assets and values to the id engine and we can have a smooth experience.
the whole concept of champions was a bad idea from the start. just remake quake live with modern graphics on the latest id engine instead.

@@DrGetgood no, it's not quake to me. valve has kept counter-strike almost the same for 20 years but with updated graphics, yet no one calls cs players boomers. don't fix it if it ain't broken.
Honestly I agree with both of you. I'd rather see this game without abilities. And I'd very much enjoy some kind of hybrid if we had CTF or something. So that you have movement systems and character stack different depending on if one wants to defend or flag run.
Like, remove the obnoxious quad and give the player an ability for 1-2 minutes instead.
The big problem with this game always was that it was half ass'd all the way, testing ground for bethesda online store and launcher, no proper servers, outsourced to a studio with bad track record for saving money instead of using the excellent id tech engine, slow with all kinds of updates, low on content and it never had up to par servers for a fast fps. Sometimes the servers even today feel as bad as an indie studios survival open world game's server.

Don't know what he was expecting trying to beat the hitscan. Wall cover and peeking to fire rockets is the only way. The point is that even though the wall hack can see still you, you minimise the time spent in line of the hitscan.
To think I even paid for this game at one point...
My last attempt running this game: huge lag spikes, packet loss through the roof, railed a full second after behind a corner, 20 minute queues, cheaters ADVERTISING HACKS in chat.
I wonder how can Rapha endure it.

@@hmr1122 there are often tournaments on the quake twitch channel but i wonder how much longer they can do that considering the game only has 500 concurrent players. it can't be profitable.

Welp, this explains why I can be 175/175 heavy champion and get melted with LG or MG in about a second. I'm sitting there wondering, HOW did I die so fast. This game is so broken and the devs don't give a damn. At least it makes for entertaining "PRO vs HACK" videos. Sad times for Quake.
