Love your bell system. You should try and show all of us how you gig that bell without interfering with the line. Love you shows and look forward to watching them. 😄
Just a couple lil tip(s) with the netting; let them tire themselves out before attempting to net them, doing so too early just causes them to do deeper runs and wears a spot where they are hooked and causes more fish loss. Second thing is, when pulling them out of the water, put the net vertical (once the fish is inside) and pull up and take to where you want to take the hook out and such, if you keep doing it horizontal like you are, you're just going to end up either bending the hell outta your net handle and/or break your net, no matter how good it is.
What about how he holding his mouth? He might be holding his mouth wrong, he could lose a fish or two that he’s going to toss back anyway. AND i notice every time he get a bite he just up right foot first?? He should try and land on both feet at same time to reduce the chance of missing a fish. He’s been doing this all wrong all this time for his own entertainment and enjoyment. Jeff you can learn a thing or two from this fella..
I enjoyed the video. Got a lot of blue algae in the lakes near me in Kansas so not much fishing for me for now but enjoy seeing you catch some nice ones. 👍
When netting a fish remember 1-5 lbs - small - medium size you can pick up horizontal BUT for BIG FISH 5+ lbs!!!!! Net horizontal and pull up vertical to save your net... l know - because l hooked up to a 17-3/4 carp and broke the net handle the net fell off and I had tied a rope to it earlier and got it all back and we had it for dinner not bad..
Carp are fun to catch because they really fight. When I was a kid we would go below the dam in Adrian, Michigan to catch big carp by hand 2 to 3 ft. long.
Hey brother Jeff I would love to arrange for you and me and my boys to go fishing on the canals I am a novice when it comes to canal fishing we've been doing lake fishing for years but it seems like something else would go to has no trespassing signs I love to learn what you know
Let me tell you I saw an 8 ft catfish all black in the canal about a 100 lbs I did not try to catch it how do you get it out of canal I'm not gonna say where if you get in canal how do you climb out . I had 30 lb and a snagging hook I dont think you can eat them yo to much pollution. But it was big
Hey you if you wanna catch a good fighting fish maybe not to eat but those common Carp not the grass Carp are heavy weight fighters light tackle crazy fun

Any experience with the Zebco 808 Boss Hawg? Considering it vs the 888. I think they are mostly alike.
