I agree that plaster of Paris is best for texture paste. Since it dries fast, I've added flour a little bit and I can even do sculpture with this POP paste. Anyway, good review and thanks for the video👍😍
What a fantastic video!!! Oh you've got my creative juices flowing! I appreciate that you took the time to show us the differences in the mediums! Cheers!
very comprehensive, and therefore useful video!! thanks for sharing!! I'm a very old crafter (been crafting for over 45 years) but new to texture paste. and I wanted to know all these things in advance of starting the work. I see the puffiness and porousness of the baking soda mixture as a design choice, not a problem 🤭 best teacher on the youTube! thanks for being you!
Thank you very very much . Actually I was about to order online texture pastes now I can cancel the order and make them at home . Once again thank you very very much ☺️
You have taken pains to give us a thorough overview of the different types of texture pastes ...that's so good...I would love to see a tutorial on the heart mixed media u hv shown here. Thank u dear...stay blessed
Wow. Brilliant idea. 👏👏 I love all of them. POP is the best. One more excellent video, waiting for series of such videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
Creative cat is so creative I can't tell in word 😃 your crafts are awesome... I wanted to make air dry clay but I don't have corn flour, white glue so I used normal flour, salt, water and oil as u shown, it was so perfect 👍🏻👍🏻 thank you so much and one more thing in this texture paste can I use any other glue accept white glue?
I realize this is an older video but perhaps someone will answer my question. If the project is sealed, will the PoP recipe hold up to the outside elements? Actually, will any of them hold up? This was a GREAT video tutorial for those of us new to using texture paste in our projects. Thank you so much for taking the time to "show and tell".
as I said, I'm new to texture paste. however I'm quite an old hand at modeling clays. I know for sure that no modeling clay holds up to outside elements. baby powder and starch clays don't even hold up to inside humidity, nor wet uses. plaster doesn't hold up well to outside even in construction, so I wouldn't expect this one to, either. for papier mache, and paper clay, if you want something for the outside, you can seal it with yacht lacquer when finished. maybe this will benefit from it as well? yacht lacquer is expensive, but a little goes a long way. and since you don't use it for ocean faring, than you don't need more than one layer. good luck!
Thank you for all this research that you present in a wonderful and detailed video. Your projects are so creative, beautiful and diverse. I am learning so much about which recipes work best for which projects. Your videos give me confidence and inspiration to create projects, which lifts my spirits! ❤👋
I used one made of talcum (baby powder) and glue for a very long time, just made it thicker. I loved how good it stayed even if you made texture that was high.
wow!! you are so talented. Thank you for sharing - I want to paint trees on a canvas and I was looking for texture ideas. You're video was very helpful! :)👍
Amazing ma'am. Thank you! Ma'am, may I know your qualification and your occupation. Cause I am interested in art works and would like to go into art side. So hope you reply. Take care. Keep going like this! With loads of love 💞💞😊

Hello. I really enjoy your videos and use them a LOT for inspiration and recipes at the moment. 😊 I just saw another youtuber use texture paste for making faux lace in silicone molds. Do you think any of these will work for that? 😊

Always fantastic information! Love these videos so much Cat!
If you add white acrylic paint in equal amounts to the glue and baking soda, you will have better control over the paste and won’t fluff off.
Very useful, to the point narration. Love watching your videos, inspiring.
