I'm so fucking mad, that's actually how you're supposed to do chamber 18. I thought I cheesed it somehow. Talking about the first part, I ended up just launching myself to all the robots and knocking them down to pass through unimpeded.

I didnt know how to get to the turrets so I brought some items from ratman's hideout and threw that at them...

@@KurValenti You can get to 3 of the 4 turrets by placing a portal to the top of the closest wall and then jumping on the platform. For the last one (the one closer to the entrance), you need to use a portal on the floor next to the platform, and use inertia to fly off the portal onto the platform (you need to place this portal while flying from some height to get enough height)

I knocked off all the sentries at 18th chamber instead, taking 2 sentries on the right and then launching them into those on the left

For chamber 18's turret room, I suggest walking back thru the portal instead of doing the crazy stunt. Because of the travel time, you shoot at the button platform and hold d at the same time you'll be on the starting platform with your portal ready to walk thru. Also you can fall to the button from the cube platform making that easier

#17 there’s an easy way to cheese the double door. Instead of trapping the orb between the double door, knock down the camera, and you can use it as a stepping stool to put your self on one button, and keep the sphere on the other.

9:55 you can actually save some time by dropping down to where the button is, press it, then jump through the portal

I remember I skipped the entirety of chamber 17 by shooting a portal near the glass that is right next to the button and shooting an orange portal in a specific spot to shoot it through the glass
