Amazing looking fruits on that one, I believe the Pakistani mulberries are borderline hardy for here in the UK 😣. I've got an illinois everbearing and Moldovan pink here in containers outdoors all year, they are a regular size fruit of course.
@@RealLifeFruitopia haha that's what I thought, not a realistic proposition here, my tropicals only grow 6 to 12 inches a year in pots so I can easily fit them indoors in winter, from experience mulberries grow 3 or 4 feet a year , wouldn't fit inside 🤣🤣. As my house is heated of course from October to April probably wouldn't get a proper dormant rest either 😬😬

Hi George, you’ve inspired me to buy a red shahtoot mulberry. I bought a grafted young plant from Daleys 4 months ago and it started to flower, fruit forming this spring. Come the thunderstorms in Sydney and I come out to find all the fruits have dropped. I didn’t net it. I am not sure if it related to the weather or is there any nutrient deficiency I should be thinking of for this plant. Or it’s just a bit young and needs maturity for the fruit to ripe on the tree. Any ideas? Thanks. Anne
Just ordered the dwarf red with the white from Daley's, very excited. Hopefully do well in northern suburbs. Looking at growing the dwarf in container any tips or advice on that, or size?
Daleys ships them small, so grow in a smaller pot until there's an increase in growth. Use premium potting mix in a well drained pot. Place in full sun. Don't add fertilizer till next spring.

You would have to grow this one in a pot, it's frost sensitive at bud stage. Growers only 100 km from me experience fruit drop with them.

The rain would've been the culprit, which is bad luck for you but better for the tree to grow larger and stronger for next year.
