Greetings, I'm asking again for more content on Smokey's Hot Vapor Engine. I wish for myths about it to be finally put to rest with some real test data. Thanks for everything you do.
Yep, see folks all the time running a 750 on a close to stock 350 and wondering why it bogs and has no bottom end. Then you get to explain these numbers and venturi effect and runner tuning and all the rest...
I don't have a IPhone 406 sbc forged internal balanced spin to 7200 RPM with 220 cnc ported heads that flow 315cfm at 600 lift. 618/622 lift.. 242@.050 and 200 shot Nitrous.. I have a older barry grant HP950 (proform hp 750 main body and 850 baseplate) that holley say its 830 cfm.. overcarbed? Undercarbed or not bad?
Mr. Soliz I need your help. My car overheated and I don't have a mechanic of trust, aside from that I want to learn how to fix my car myself. Long story short, I had to take the engine out and apart. It has been a long road, researching as much as I can to check that everything is within spec and good. I have learned a lot from you already, I appreciate you share your knowledge here on RUclips. I still have questions that I was hoping you could answer (I know you must be a busy man, so I understand if you don't) Here are the main ones: You mentioned that it is possible to polish a camshaft by hand with emery cloth (In the video with Faye you used a machine) Could you make a demonstration on how to do it? What grit should be used? Can it be done also to the lobes? (There is surface rust on mines) [I understand that we are only trying to remove the high spots that can bind] You also used a die grinder to polish where the camshaft sits, could you give a demonstration of that aswell? (I think you used a sand roll, what grit?) [I don't have a die grinder, is there a method that can be done by hand?] Can all of these also be done to the crankshaft? Thank you very much for your time in advance.
The next cam or head I need to polish I’ll do a quick video on that. You want 320 - 400 grit or finer and polish just remove high spots or the rust doesn’t take off any metal. Don’t change the size of it. Yes you can do the lobes.
@@MrDanielSoliz - Thank you very much, I will be attentive to your next uploads. Another question that came up to me recently is if I should replace the piston rings (my car overheated and mixed coolant with oil) should I use the opportunity that it is appart to change them? (119,000 miles). Thank you again Mr. Soliz, I will keep supporting your channel.
Hi everybody, I hope everyone is having a blessed day
Cool video guys.
Love it , thanks 🇺🇸💪
Hi Danny and Faye! Dan, it would be great to also make it work on Android (Microsoft) phones.
100%

That's awesome!
This is such a valuable app.
That's a great app, it could help more than one out there.
I don't have a IPhone

Nice!
What max rpm and ve would you type in for a stock, non rebuilt '49 8BA (club coupe if it matters)?
339cid @85% VE and @3000 rpm’s the carb would be around 250 cfm’s.
@@MrDanielSoliz I appreciate the reply. Any idea what the stock Holly 94 flows?
So whey does a DZ302 run an 800cfm carb then?
