I got the PJO seires and I was confused because he has so many books! Thank you this helped so much. ((I have watched the lightning thief movie and in my opinion it was bad..))
As someone who gave up reading the books in favor of watching the movie when I was younger (I KNOW I KNOW THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE) and who now wants to get into the series after falling in love with the Lightning Thief Musical, this is really helpful but also makes things seem so much more complicated than I thought they were. Turns out I have way more book searching to do now.
So I've been eyeing the Riordanverse for a while, trying to decide whether to start reading the books due to a friend who's obsessed. I have never read a single book, and didn't even watch the movies. Watched this video trying to see if I could get a hold about where to even begin, but this just made it more daunting and intimidating ☠☠☠ I get the impression the Riordanverse is just Kingdom hearts with a Greek mythology flavor in book format, huh??
I stumbeled upon your channel through this video, and I love it! More PJO Fans!!! Wohooo! And you're ace as well? (your flag in the banner) Very sympathetic xD I finally found my people!
Wow, this video's detailed! I read most of the Riordanverse but not in this order (hides face, hehe) But this is a great vid! Just one thing, what abt Camp Half-Blood Confidential and Hotel Valhalla guide?
So I came into all of these series in a really weird order. In 4th grade, I read the red pyramid and Kane Chronicles series, then in 6th grade I started the song of Neptune, and got halfway through then to realize that the lost hero was first, read that, then the rest of son of Neptune, and I think I might have read part of Mark of Athena. And then I didn't touch any of them other than relistening to the audio books of the Kane Chronicles until now, where I am in college now FINALLY getting to the original series where I am in battle of the laboranth now lmao
I read the first two books a long time ago and stopped because of, well...life. I remember thinking I would continue reading when he was done with the series. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Unclaimeddemigod Went back through the video when writing down the list and wondered if there was a reason you didn't include _The Diary of Luke Castellan_ and _The Son of Magic_ from _The Demigod Diaries?_ I haven't read anything past book 2, but used wikipedia as a secondary checklist with your video and got curious when you didn't put them on the video's list.

Also I started reading the serpent’s shadow like a few months ago(3 or 4 I think but idk) and I’m not even 100 pages in. I can relate to starting a book and then taking forever to finish(don’t ever think I have taken a year though). The tyrant’s tomb also took me quite a while to finish.
Edit: Finished Serpent’s shadow :)
oh the tyrant’s tomb took me like a day-
i respect opinions though :)
I see that you too are someone who likes to read fantasy books with conveluted backstories
I wrote a chronological order reading all 32 Rick Riordan universe books right now watching your video to fact check my self just Finished “The Last Olympian” was gonna move on to “The Red Pyramid” of the Kane Chronicles
that sounds good :)
As a kid reading these series’s I enjoyed the Heroes of Olympus series way more than the Kane Chronicles I wonder if I’ll gain more respect for the Kane Chronicles this time around I can’t wait to get to the 2 newest books of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series
Chalice of the Gods and the 2024 one I also never finished Magnus Chase or Trials of Apollo
*my friends who* _still_ *haven't gotten to Titan's Curse* : " _what's happend to her? is she crazy?_ "

About to attack this series for the first time! (I have read the first four chapters of the lightning thief). Inspired to start the series as I'm going to follow along with Mike Schubert reading the series for the first time on his podcast "The Newest Olympian"! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And thank you so much for this - I am already in love with the books only 4 chapters in, and planning to purchase the lot
THANK YOU! I already read them but this will help my friends (and me)
Love this🔥 he’s a brilliant writer

Omg I just finished reading the pjo universe book and thank u so much cause this really help me I firstly started reading the pjo book in August 31 and every time I finished a book I came here to see witch book I needed to read next / but so I really appreciate this book 🙏🏻
I wish I saw this video before I read the books. I didn’t know about the demigod files, and I read the first ToA book before the Lost Hero. I didn’t understand it at all.
Thank youuuu! Trying to figure out when and where to fit in the companion stories
Plsss do the readathon! I have just bought the entire percy jackson saga to read it for the first time (at 23 lol) and I am excitedddd
Thank u do much I just got the percy Jackson Books and I wanted to read all of his book and I been looking for the right order for the past week to this is going to really help me
@@Unclaimeddemigod what the difference between the heros of olympus the demi god diaries that the front cover is red and the demi got dinars that the front cover is green
So actually, demigods and magicians was the first Rick Riordan book I ever read and that was in 4th grade, that book was what got me hooked!
@@Unclaimeddemigod it was in the library in my classroom! And I was attracted to the title, since, even before my love for Rick's books, I was a fan or interested in greek mythology. Or any type actually!
i made a list of the order to read the books if anyone wants it:
percy jackson: the lightning thief
percy jackson: the sea of monsters
percy jackson: the titans curse
percy jackson: the battle of the labyrinth
percy jackson: the demigod files
- ONLY READ: the stolen chariot, the bronze dragon, the sword of hades
percy jackson: the last olympian
heroes of olympus: the demigod diaries
- ONLY READ: the staff of hermes
the kane chronicles: the red pyramid (if you want different characters)
the kane chronicles: the throne of fire (if you want different characters)
the kane chronicles: the serpent’s shadow (if you want different characters)
the heroes of olympus: the lost hero
percy jackson: the demigod files
ONLY READ: leo valdez and the quest for buford
heroes of olympus: the son of neptune
heroes of olympus: the mark of athena
heroes of olympus: the house of hades
heroes of olympus: the blood of olympus
demigods and magicians
magnus chase: the sword of summer
the trials of apollo: the hidden oracle
magnus chase: the hammer of thor
the trials of apollo: the dark prophecy
the trials of apollo: the burning maze
magnus chase: the ship of the dead
camp jupiter classified (not necessary)
the trials of apollo: the tyrants tomb
the trials of apolllo: the tower of nero
Thanks a lot for this guide!! I hope we will get an updated list soon after the new book releases.
@@Unclaimeddemigod Lol
Thank you so much! I was so confused on how to read them! The first time I read one of his books was at school (PJO the lightning thief) and I was so interested. I got the PJO seires and I was confused because he has so many books! Thank you this helped so much. ((I have watched the lightning thief movie and in my opinion it was bad..))
currently making an amazon cart full of all the books im going to need for this journey when i reread
I'm 10 years old and I love the Percy Jackson series, I'm really obsessed!
So I've been eyeing the Riordanverse for a while, trying to decide whether to start reading the books due to a friend who's obsessed. I have never read a single book, and didn't even watch the movies. Watched this video trying to see if I could get a hold about where to even begin, but this just made it more daunting and intimidating ☠☠☠
I get the impression the Riordanverse is just Kingdom hearts with a Greek mythology flavor in book format, huh??
PLEASE DO A READING VLOG FOR THE RIORDANVERSE BOOKS
I stumbeled upon your channel through this video, and I love it!
More PJO Fans!!! Wohooo!
And you're ace as well? (your flag in the banner) Very sympathetic xD I finally found my people!
I LOVE YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!😭
I'm glad it helps!
I just decided I’m going to start reading these books(it’s 1:00am and I’m impulsive) but this video is going to be so much help
@@Unclaimeddemigod thanks☺️ I’m already on ch 4 and it’s already sooo much better than the movies
Incase you don't know, The heroes of Olympus series has NEW COVER ART!!! They look 15x better than the original art (in my opinion)
I have to check that out then
Wow, this video's detailed! I read most of the Riordanverse but not in this order (hides face, hehe) But this is a great vid! Just one thing, what abt Camp Half-Blood Confidential and Hotel Valhalla guide?
After I read all of these books I read all of the Spirit Animals Books and I have to say I love that series just as much
So I came into all of these series in a really weird order. In 4th grade, I read the red pyramid and Kane Chronicles series, then in 6th grade I started the song of Neptune, and got halfway through then to realize that the lost hero was first, read that, then the rest of son of Neptune, and I think I might have read part of Mark of Athena. And then I didn't touch any of them other than relistening to the audio books of the Kane Chronicles until now, where I am in college now FINALLY getting to the original series where I am in battle of the laboranth now lmao
what a WILD ride that reading experience must have been
I never read them but i just the first book of heroes of Olympus the lost hero for 1$ at a thrift store yesterday.
I love your vibe sm!!❤
I'm just starting sea of monsters so this will be really helpful for me in future :)
I read the first two books a long time ago and stopped because of, well...life. I remember thinking I would continue reading when he was done with the series. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're going to have to wait a while
@@Unclaimeddemigod Went back through the video when writing down the list and wondered if there was a reason you didn't include _The Diary of Luke Castellan_ and _The Son of Magic_ from _The Demigod Diaries?_ I haven't read anything past book 2, but used wikipedia as a secondary checklist with your video and got curious when you didn't put them on the video's list.
I’ve read all of the books in the order of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods, Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, Magnus Chase, and the Kane Chronicles. I've never read any of the companion novels or short stories.
I think most of them you can skip no problem, but I recommend reading CHB Confidential, I remember really liking that one
i see seventeen albums in the back. you have good taste
She's so pretty ☺️
😳
@@Unclaimeddemigod ah!!!!
i just got into the fandom, i’m reading sea of monsters and i’m loving it but i have to say i come from the harry potter fandom where you have 7 books, just 7, all in order so i’m trying to keep up here ahahah 👀👀👀
Hahaha welcome and good luck!
So no one asks you for reading orders however! Shall I be the first for an updated video?? And a percy shelf tour!!?
I will make an updated version once the TV show comes out, and I already have a video with my PJO collection: ruclips.net/video/ya8Q_ru8KBg/видео.htmlsi=xCUgQcMyGz637mkh
i am doing percy jackson then heroes of olympus then percy jackson#6 then trails of apoolo than the nico di angelo book then the kang cronicles then magnus books.
That works, there’s no specific spoilers in PJO 6 to HOO but be careful!

Yesssssss PJO CONTENT!!!!!
me when I realize there are short percy jackson novels that probably include the fact that percy knew what the inside of a dragon's throat is like:
**surprised pikachu face**
I am taking notes 😂
Not finishing the sim of Neptune is crazy cuz I was JUICED when I seen Percy on the cover😤I was like wait is that??? THATS MY DAWG!!!!🤣💯😤
Same
@@Unclaimeddemigod I seen it in my school library grabbed it and seen it was book two still didn’t care j went back to the lost hero after 😭😭I was like naw fuck that I thought Percy’s story was over till now I’m not goin back
Wow you are so passive aggressive about this. This is the content I live for. After each book performance, you need a side video discussing the themes and developments from each one
I messed up. I read PJO, HoO, and then ToA. I'm plan on read Magnus Chase next, and then Kane Chronicles. I will re-read the stories your way when I read them again.
Same
Thanks! I started the series not realizing how big the universe was lol
Literally needed this I read everything but I’m mixed it up 😂
I’m basically am reading them in this order
Percy Jackson and the Olympian’s (done!)
HoO (on son of Neptune)
ToA
Kane chronicles
Magnus Chase
I will read that Leo thing I’ll find a audiobook :D
Wowww this was so confusing but so helpful at the same time haha. But I've got a question:)
Is there a book about nico and will?
Thanks to anyone who might answer and thanks for making the video!
Here's an updated version with the answer to all your questions: ruclips.net/video/oOwkimFaHao/видео.html
Why I don’t read the last Olympian then I read the book that u showed isn’t the order the batle of labyrinth then the last Olympian?
Thanks for this I needed it
Super interested!!!😊
Have fun reading!
Hi liked the video, i'm preparing to go through them all again with th TV show hype
Did you not mention the Luke and Thalia stories in Demigod Diaries as they could be considered spoilers?
Also assuming as the Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods/Heroes are more background info instead of story they can be read at any time (also Hotel Valhalla guide to Norse Worlds)
I know someone who says you should start with the Heroes of Olympus because they're more exciting. I think if you're a older human this is a good idea but you'd get spoilers.
I love to see a riordanverse reading vlog.
@@Unclaimeddemigod AWESOME
Hi! Question… you say to read specific chapters of the DemiGod Diaries: Hero’s of Olympus, when is a good time to read the whole thing???
Great vid. I'm currently reading PJ at the mo. I have Kane Chronicles and Magnus also. What would be best order to read these?
Me, who’s read through PJO, HoO, and ToA and is starting Magnus Chase: well, I’m doing it all wrong. Guess I’ll have to do it right in the reread.
In all seriousness this was a helpful video tho! 😊
you should read percy jackson and the stolen chariot after the second book!
When she said you'll need tissues for the mark of athena ending and that its shocking it felt so relateble because i have a friend at the moment who is borying my copy's of the hereos of olympus series and I can't wait for her to get to mark of athenas ending
Love the video. Thanks.
Thanks for the recommendation but but here's my way
Lightning Theif
Sea of Monsters
Titan's Curse
Battle of the Labyrinth
Last Olympian
Lost Hero
Son of Neptune
Mark of Athena
House of Hades
Blood of Olympus
Magnus Chase series
Trials of Apollo books
(That's all my attention span can take)
I just finished all the hero toms of Olympus. I continue with what? Thanks
This is how I read the books :
1 Lightning Thief
2 Sea of Monsters
3 Titans Curse
4 Battle of Labyrinth
5 Last Olympian
6 Demigod Files
7 Camp Half-Blood Confidential
8 Greek gods
9 Greek heroes
10 Lost hero
11 Son of Neptune
12 Mark of Athena
13 House of Hades
14 Blood of Olympus
15 The demigod diaries
16 Red Pyramid
17 Throne of Fire
18 Serpent's Shadow
19 Brooklyn's House Magician's Manual
20 Demigods and Magicians
21 Sword of Summer
22 Hammer of Thor

28 Burning maze
29 Tyrant's Tomb
30 Tower of Nero
You can of course tweak the order but don't make MAJOR changes, or else you will not be able to enjoy it.
@@Unclaimeddemigod Yes, I like to go with the series order, but you can mix it up if u want to read it in the publishing order!
@@pranjalpatankar5566 i want to go with the series, like Magnus Chase first and trials of Apollo after but I'm afraid there's spoilers in the Magnus Chase books. What do you think??
@@MariangelyRodelo I have read the books, I would say that there aren't any major spoilers at all. And you probably won't even remember them when you read Trials of Apollo, But if you are very specific, then you can read it in the publishing order - which is switching between the 2 series. Hope this helps :)
@@pranjalpatankar5566 thank you so much :)
I completely went against all of this because I have read all of those books but only NOW am seeing this
Wish I saw this when I started
