Wow great footage Mustang! I have never seen whales feed so close to shore, never gets old seeing them spout! Man I miss living by the oceans 🌊 Thanks for sharing!🍻
Glad you enjoyed it. The water at St. Vincent's Beach has a very steep drop off to deep water allowing the whales to get so close. I have an even better whale video I shot after this one. I had some very close encounters with whales while kayaking with my friends. Here is a link if you wish to watch: ruclips.net/video/-hTPIXwIKqo/видео.html .....Take care, Bluefin.
How Awesome this was ! Holy smokes was that abundance of fish and those Whales 🐋 I really appreciate you sharing this footage. And all the info in the description box.
Glad you enjoyed it Donna. It was so much fun seeing all the capelin and then the whales. It was a wonderful day. I'm glad you read the info in the description......Take care, Bluefin.
It is pretty cool to see the capelin and whales Grant. I will have another video soon where I have a very close encounter with a whale while in my kayak......Take care, Bluefin.
Thanks Steve, It is always fun to watch the capelin roll in on the beaches. It only happens for a few days each year,. The whale watching is always good to see too......Take care, Bluefin.
WOW!!!!! That was cool!!!!!!! Are we going to see a fish fry video soon or did you put them in your yard? I’m pretty sure Wallace Vivian usually usually does a cook up of those little critters... I thought you’d be out there in your kayak😉😉😉
Thought others may enjoy this one. No kayaking that day. That is a dangerous beach for rogue waves. I never thought about making a fish fry video. They are tasty! No capelin on my yard this time. Wallace Vivian does do videos cooking up capelin. I can't compete with Wallace. My Whale encounter video is still in progress......Take care, Mike.
Hi there. Stumbled upon your awesome video. My husband and I are coming to Newfoundland 2nd week of August. St Vincent is on our list. Is August a good time to try snd get a glimpse of whales?
Thanks for watching my video. I'm sorry for the late reply but I've been busy the last few weeks enjoying our summer and doing some travelling around the province and I have not been keeping up with my channel as I should. June to August is the best time to see whales here. Friends of mine were in St. Vincent's yesterday and did see whales. It is always good to check the weather for the area as it can be foggy there but clear and sunny in St. John's. I will post a Facebook link to a public group that shares the weather and whale sightings on a regular basis. It would be good to check that before going there. Ask any questions you have there as well. Here is the link: m.facebook.com/groups/stvincentsststephenspetersriver/ I hope you enjoy your trip here and have a wonderful time! We are having an unusually hot summer here this year. When you go to St. Vincent's take a light coat or sweater as it can be cool there at times. Enjoy! ....Take care, Bluefin.
Be sure to check out the extra information about capelin and whales in the "show more" section below the video......Take care, Bluefin.
