  • Wales Campervan Adventure
We have hired a campervan for the week from Thistle Campervan Hire and decided to head over to Wales for a 5 day adventure. The campervan was an awesome choice and have everything we needed and more. Due to the weather we didn't get a change to use the dinghy or paddle board we took but we'll certainly hire this again in the future.
Day 3 we left Abersoch in the evening after a dip in the sea and some much needed fish and chips and made our way towards Anglesey. We managed to find a layby close to Caernarfon which would be our home for the evening. It was WINDY! The cover on the windscreen was flapping in the wind and the van was blown about a but we were warm and wrapped up and still having fun and looking forward to the beach the following day.

Great video! England looks like such a fairytale land. The English accent sounds soooo pretty. Oh my goodness... I never heard of a basking shark before. I'm glad that you didn't encounter any sharks. I hope you will see some dolphins on your journey! I hope you have a happy adventure!

Thank you. There are some lovely areas across the UK especially on the coast of Wales, the southern coast and around the Lake District National Park. No sharks or dolphins but we did see some seals 🦭

@@krisgleave Oh shit! Unsubbed ;) Just kidding. By the way, on Monday I set out to do the Dales Way after watching your video but had to abort at Grassington owing to footwear problems. I was gutted but will have another crack at a later date. I was wondering what app you use for your maps because, astonishingly, the Dales Way is not listed in AllTrails. Cheers and keep up the good work.
