Dr Brenda I wish you were in Australia, I would love to get an adjustment and scrape by you!
Have you treated many patients with Fibromyalgia?
I found your videos a couple weeks ago and decided to scrape my shoulder with a gua sha as I've been have lots of issues and it instantly relieved the pain, I was shocked as its given me so much grief and just by doing a quick 5 minute scrape it felt so much better! Thank you for your amazing videos (hopefully you'll be able to come to Australia one day!)

We'd get you there eventually. Getting older without maintaining flexibility just means it takes longer to get there. Not impossible. That is what Yoga was made for, for example. If you have good muscle memory from your youth, it is easier and faster.

There’s a ton of oil, so there shouldn’t be any friction. I do know when I get it done, the only places I have petechiae are above muscle knots. I believe the purpose of gua sha/scraping is to break up the fascia within the muscle and improve movement.
