Looks like you did a good job ,had my 1.4 tsi done twice in 4 years of having it .3 chains replaced ,last just 4 weeks ago .boom something blew while driving along.like the engine fell apart. Misfire always no 4 but worse than iv experienced .Good videos looks like you did a proper job .
Cheers, yeah the motor is sweet again, and coming back to us for upgrades very soon so more on this to come. Seems the 1.4 TSIs can be fragile. We had a turbo fail on the dyno just the other week 👎
Badger 5 is a great tuner. I absolutely love they're ITB setup. Back in my 16v days when I built a bunch of them they especially kicked ass on all the 16v variants... ABF, 9A, PL... Loving this channel and the 'cheese rods' hoodie is hilarious!!! LOL. Love the 'Rocco. Wish we got the new one here on the states!

Ive got a 1.8tsi Skoda yeti that burns 2 litres oil every 300miles - suspect engine needs overhaul - rebore etc.. how much for this ? (11reg 61k miles)
Thankyou! A mixture of a great teacher (my dad) and then self taught. It seems a little sad to some but I LOVE doing it. I love the little details... I'm probably on the spectrum if truth be known....😬

I'm new to all this, so I just wanted to know. Could you have just taken the car to VW and told them you wanted an engine rebuild or the only option is to do it yourself or find a trustworthy mechanics.

Yeah they are very cool cars. The garage loft i use is an SJR scissor. Search for SJR garage equipment

Without diagnosing it... I'd expect a bill for that issue would see you into the £3-4k bracket.

Hi pal, you can use the ignitron with ME7.5 ecus, and it can be configured to run ANY turbo! 🤙

The original engine was built by VW, and failed. The rebuild was by a reputable mechanic and also failed. This time it was built properly 👍
