How to buy your first home in a few step. 1.Get pre-qualified from the bank u will have to pay a small fee for them to check your credit score. 2.Look for a area that is affordable and is in development remember locations is key real estate reason u will build equity faster so if u decide to sell u make profit. 3. I don't recommend putting money down unless u have to. Reason being if something bad was to happen where ur house went into foreclosure the money u don't u would lose. 4. U got probably will have to pay closing cost which can range from 5 to 10k depending on house price. I have even seen and heard Realtors helping with paying closing for there clients not everybody does it now. U also got to pay for a home inspector which cost about 500 dollars. 5. Make sure u can pay all the bills by yourself so if anybody bails on u ur fine with paying the bills by yourself. There's more put this should help u out

I would say depending the price. Its SOOO many great deals out here ive found that with that Condo down payment, you could have a apartment building.
Condo has certain restrictions from turning it into an investment property the hoa is the problem that the condo owner faces
