I don't wanna complain or whine, but this is so sad and disappointing. Just wait till you see Arthas vs Illidan cinematic. It actually makes me feel relieved that they didn't remake the original cinematics.

Reforged Arthas vs Illidan fight scene is the worst anime battle I have ever seen.

This is a product of an understaffed, underfunded and undercoordinated team, there's lots of signs that there was a want to do more and better but the Warcraft 3/Reforged team wasn't given the time or resources they needed to make it happen :I

I had one gryphon evade my defenses and no one else was near Kel'Thuzad when I did this. My Kel'Thuzad survived the timer and died immediately after. This resulted in a Kel'Thuzadless cutscene playing afterwards... was quite funny.

I'm loving this so much. I wish there were more changed maps but Silvermoon looks amazing!
Watching you clear a stage in less than 50 minutes on hard whereas i had it cleared in 2 hours on easy is a real treat
they changed silvermoon and while it looks nicer the reason they changed it and stratholm was to make them look a little more like the wow maps, so they made the trees orange, when the trees should be green as the sunwell is still pure
The game may not have been how I wanted but the commentary was perfect. A week and a half of warcfrat yo fall asleep from this whole thing. Very blessed I am.
Loving the campaign content keep it coming! As somone who owns the original but hasn't bought reforged, it's cool to get to see what's new (& also reminisce the campaign) 👍
Archimond is alot smaller than i remembered. Wasnt he used to be bigger than arthas and KT?
Actually, he doesn't get super-huge until the last Night Elf level. He actually was fairly small when he first appeared.
Eredar are naturally "only" about 2 m tall, While Archimonde can change his size be somewhere around 30 to 50 meters tall he generally seems to prefer his natural size, also from what I've read Arthas is suppose to quite large for a human.

The Silvermoon and Dalaran terrain objects sure were suprising.
So, they changed 1-2 levels per campaign and a few cutscenes? I also thought they would make cutscenes like in SC2, like we saw in the trailer, but they gave up on that as well? It's cool that it's similar to the original, but it just makes you wonder, since they have shown some of these features.
I heard/read that they had to scrap some ideas because the playerbase wanted the story to be the same and not to much touched on
So they did what those people wanted
They already made an option to just play the original campaign in reforged! There's a button in the campaign menu "classic" - "reforged". That's fine for most people, just don't touch the original and you can make reforged and people can play it if they like it. Just don't make promises of doing something when you are not doing anything.

3:23:14 Look at the gargs shadows, guys..we can say anything about w3 reforged, but these shadows of air units are sick
Unfortunately those shadows mean 10 FPS on a laptop otherwise able to run classic WC3 at 60 FPS :(
Huh I've never heard about the necromancer graveyard tactic on that mission. One other one that seemed effective I've seen was building a lot of Halls of the dead around keltuzad and fitting a few ziggurats where you run out of space for necropoli.
Necros + Graveyard used to be a really strong and popular undead defensive tactic, but not for very long as people started to caster micro more and used the anti-summon spells to cause necros to become one of the worst caster units in competitive play (shame too because their kit is fun as hell).
However, for campaign it's a very viable tactic especially in the final mission of TFT, which becomes even stronger thanks to Obsidian Statues pumping more mana into the necros.
You can get dragonhawk riders from the high elven barracks. At least in classic
That fog is so damn annoying! And Sylvanas' walking/running cycle is pretty weird, for a battle-hardened elf

I love ths campaign of w3 as a whole but idk if i am able to do them on hard... Some levels really are hard to begin with, without difficulty selection.

Does anyone have the same sound bug as me that unit recruitment sounds, like the grunts "my life for the horde", only plays when you hover over them with your camera? Like they save the sound file and only play it if I hover over them, even when I recruited them like 5 minutes ago
I have that big too and there's too much lighting on the character portrait, otherwise the game plays as you would expect
2nd mission used to have a sheep named Tichondius at the bottom and you missed a murloc bottom left in the demon gate mission.
At the top of The Siege of Dalaran map there is a bunch of magical runes in the water. Doesn't do anything but it's a bit of an easter egg. You just missed it!

I think in the last mission the cp accualy cheats, I might be wrong but I think they have unlimited gold and lumber and fast production. Btw u couldve used Death Coils to heal the Infernos, yeah ik pretty crazy

they removed the "what the hell is that?" line arthas had at the start of the second mission, but still have two different voices for gavinrad
To be fair, Arthas would absolutely have seen a Meat Wagon before while fighting against the Undead. It was weird for him to suddenly not know what it is.
Besides, the line does still get used against the Sasquatches :P

There's an archmage to the south west of the map that I think you missed. Also, Archimonde looks tiny :(
Could you try to complete the final map by defeating all enemies, like you did with the March of the Scourge in the Human Campaign?

hmm, the 3 elf gates mission is giving me so much trouble on hard. It starts me off with a gold mine and necropolis.
all maps are pretty easy on hard but the last one drives my crazy, they all rush kel'thuzad when its 1 min left ignoring my army, i have no clue what to do
Something that can make a difference, is giving Kel all the HP and Armor items. The one you find in dala gives 7 armor, i think.

The story of WarCraft 3 is entirely dependent on Goblins. Without goblins none of this happens.

@@Johnnysmithy24 There are no faction specific transports in the campaign. All missions that require them you get them from the Goblins.
Goblin Zeppelins and boats are required to beat specific missions.

I agree that the original mission selection screen looks better, in terms of it was more animated and it moved around, but the reforged one isn't awful.
i noticed that the fall of silvermoon map is reversed.
I dont get all the hate. Half of the community including wtii bashed reforged demo. They wanted wc3 to be pure. Just watch his reactio video when reforged first came out. And now everybody is bashing blizzard because they followed your feedback wtf
Here's how things are, reforged development was handled by small classic team and third party studio that did models from malysia or whatever. In it's current form it is unfinished mishandled mess that was slowly being born in pain due to unskilled management. Classic althou it was also being rushed it was handled quite skillfully. At this day pretty much every menu screen that was changed is design wise objectively inferior to one in classic, not to mention the parts that didnt get changed just make it feel cheap. As a cherry on top you got atleast quadruple reported bugs of classic due to how diversified the PC's are now and because Blizz pulled "patch after release" mentality. The bad parts of reforged are relatively easy to patch up yet that what the beta is supposed to be for! Not to mention it lousy overwritten classic, for example now you are forced to play old campaign on new frozen throne patch which is just dumb. So yea, fans who preordered and trusted marketing are justified to feel scammed currently.
Forgot to mention all the changes mixed with upscaling, they promised everything changed yet there is only one cinematic used for trailer that got remade, arthas vs ilidan got upgraded thou not very fenomenally and rest got upscaled. It really doesn't look professional when you see that good cinematic and right after that prologue one with thrall PS2 graphic upscaled face, then jump into game and thrall model is completely diffrent person.
Don't forget the new TOS which basically states that Blizzard will OWN the rights to every custom game players make with their map editor, with the custom mappers gaining 0% credit. They so salty about dota when they completely ignored it for more than a decade until it's too late.
It's probably mostly wow kids that complain bc they didn't change the game to pander to them

@@mrmarmolerox yeah, from what I hear it has a shocking amount of bugs and has serious frame rate issues.
Which is kinda weird ,cause you can tell actual work went into this game. The models are incredibly detailed and they made alternate ones for the paladins, death knights and dread lords , plus new animations.
So, it makes me wonder what was really happening behind the scenes
Filip Vadas they didn’t use the full strength of their company. I bet 1/3 of the number of people necessary to pull off this game were used. They likely gave them no resources at all
hey i have a question i bought the game and playing the campaign while watching your videos many things are different in the game like items , heros level that attack like sylvanas is 8 for me and 4 to you and they 3 bases attack none stop with no time between and the troops are upgraded more so why its different please tell me i feel my game is wrong and it crashes too , dont know , this is my first comment ever in your tube i hope u answer me thank you

So it was tuned to be more challenging, particularly at hard difficulty
@@WTiiWarcraft i see it's way harder than the classic warcraft 3 and starting troops not same nice layouts in some levels , they just made it super challenging none stop attacks to not give you a window to have it easy , 1 question though how i stop the crashes 3 times now happened

The first cutscene no longer cuts to the villagers and cultists posing as humans like the original. Why? That added to the cinematic story telling feel of that scene. Makes me feel so disappointed with Blizzard.

They need our money in order to finish their products because they put themselves in wayyyyy too deep with what they want and then have no way to actually put it out there right away. They rushed this out, faults and glitches abundant, to make some money in the meantime. They hype up the masses, rush out product, disappoint some, and fix it eventually to make the rest happy
Yer Grammuh they said they would be making changes and fleshing out the lore stuff. Same with the cinematic etc they promised but this is all they gave it to an indie company and launched it half baked

53:20 I love his little extra chuckle at after the "I did not know what it held" line. Even small things, small extras, small changes like this are great, and the character models and levels look great. I do understand people complaining about no reforged cutscenes and all the multiplayer and custom game creation mishaps...but the campaign and the new graphics themselfs I think are awesome, I enjoy both playing it myself and watching wtii. I do not understand why people complain about this, and such things as how the campaign screen looks like...who the hell cares? It is a screen used to select the next chapter/level XD Which other game of any genre ever people complained about how the menu looks like?
Can't you see this is an unfinished game? Look at the animations for heroes death and buildings destruction, also some models are terrible in terms of art style because Blizzard hired a third company to create them...
@@deluxe1075 I like the realistic art style, love how the units look like, and had no problems with how heroes die or buildings collapse. If they are terrible I did not notice, they are probably just the same as the non-reforged. It is not that big of a deal. This is the same shit again as with Pokemon Sword and Shield. There is nothing wrong with the graphics and animations of those games either. People thought just because it is on Switch it will have Monster Hunter World graphics or something. It is a remaster not Warcraft 4. It looks great, the characters are not 3 polygon paper mache figurines anymore.

I'm certainly giving this vid a thumbs up, but the game itself... It pains me, literally AND figuratively, just how... mediocre it all turned out being. Now I'll be honest and I'll admit right now that I didn't like that remaster of the cinematic that they'd shown off in 2018 from the very beginning. Mostly due to bad changes made to SFX.
Still, I was looking forward to watching every single one of them, remade to a stunning Blizzard-grade modern level of quality.
And what did we get?! Do YOU guys remember the main menu design for both RoC and TFT screens? Surely I can't be the only one who got chills from that Arthas screen, with him just standing in that icy wasteland. And buddy Kelthu looked epic on his!
FML. I'm a bit scared to watch the TFT walkthroughs now.
The core gameplay I'm not shitting on, although it looks really glitchy.
And don't even get me started on the updated TOS for the map editor!

IMO this is the worst campaign in the game. You unlock Frost Wyrm before Abomination, for fuck's sake, and you only have Ghouls and Wagons until like, the 4th level.
plus, there's the level where you have to carry a second quest item, making your actual inventory only 4 slots
