This will be our first grandaughter's first doll. It is so perfect for a little one. Safe, soft, perfect. Thank you for doing this and sharing it with everyone for free. That is super kind. You must be a very special person. ❤ 🙏
This is one of the easiest doll-making videos I have come across. Explained very well, especially for a newbie crocheter! Thank you so much for making and sharing this video.
A simpler way to do it is to just make a slip knot, chain two, and put your hook through the first loop of your chain. Next, you yarn over and do one single crochet. Then, just repeat that process and make as many single crochets to your liking through that same loop. This will form a circle. Hope that’s helpful!
I've watched so many videos on how to do magic circles and crochet in the round and your video taught me how to do that and how to read crochet patterns and just get better at crocheting! Thank you!!
This was excellent for my first doll for my granddaughters first rag type doll. She’s only 6 months, so opted for thread eyes. This will mostly be a chew toy. But eagerly starting on my next one. Thank you for sharing, you are the best!

Thank you so much for your tutorial. I was able to make my doll. I made him from grey Acrylic yarn. One of his legs is slightly bigger than the other, but it was my first go-round, so I'm cutting myself slack. I also don't have the filling you have, but I used beans instead. I liked the added weight it gave. I also didn't have eyes for him, so I used black yarn for that, and made them into "X's". Then for a mouth, I kind of sewn in a black yarn mouth. So, he basically looks like a really cute voodoo doll, and I'm in love with how he turned out. I plan to continue to use your tutorials to help me with my projects. Much love xx
This is the first tutorial i have watched about how to crochet dolls... Would love to try one very soon... Thanks for the tutorial.. I hope i make one soon for my baby.😊
Yay!!! This is the first thing i've ever crocheted and all I have left to do is the arms. I think beginning it was the hardest, I had to restart like 12 times but once I got past the initial part of it I was able to do it easily. Thanks.
It took me all day to make my first one. Then I switched to a courser yarn, (the cheaper the better it holds it’s shape), and don’t be afraid of getting the stitches nice and tight! You might need a smaller size hook to get them tight enough. You’ll now what will work best for you after you finish just one. You’ll be able to do the second one much nicer in an hour or two! If you have five granddaughters under the age of six, like I do you can get them done in a week! You’ll need another week to do the dress and hair though!
I'm making one as a present for my baby sister for her birthday, it's in December and she's turning 5 but I'm not sure how to really make one though, but it will def take awhile
thank you so so much for this!! i was struggling so hard with crochet and this is the first thing i was able to make and even after making it i was able to make another with my own variation on the pattern, this is so easy to understand and im so happy i was able to make something!

Omg I can’t believe I was able to follow this and make my first doll!! Thank you!
Omg I just finished my doll and it is so cute. Super easy to follow😊

Absolutely the cutest. I made for my granddaughter!!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
This is a great little pattern! It's not complicated at all. Thank you for putting this up here!
Love this! Would really like to see more videos for clothes for them - flared trousers and blazers especially! Xxx
Thanks alot for your advise it really helps me out and making out one of the dolls that l been wanting to make for a long time
Yay!!! This is the first thing i've ever crocheted and all I have left to do is the arms. I think beginning it was the hardest, I had to restart like 12 times but once I got past the initial part of it I was able to do it easily. Thanks.
I really like this doll pattern. It really is so easy! Thank you for sharing your design and tutorial
Yesterday I made one and it took me FOREVER
I'm making one as a present for my baby sister for her birthday, it's in December and she's turning 5 but I'm not sure how to really make one though, but it will def take awhile
@@T0m41_08 that is so sweet , I’m trying to make one for my 6 year old sister

Who else has a lot of ideas of what they want to make but can only do one chain and just sits there and cries and throws a fit for a full on 30 minutes 😅😭 I wanna make a dragon, car, dolls, and xenomorph so badly 😔
Aww I totally get it. That’s how I was when I started. But you will be making dragons one day. Stick with it!
Trying this first really helped me, after years of occasionally attempting to learn how to crochet I finally got the hang of it like a week ago:

Any new dolls or clothes?
I just finished my doll 🥳 thank you for the easy tutorial .
Ya know what. Imma subscribe even though most crochet tutorials get me frustraded because they don't say how long its gonna take. Also i like doing quick easy projects as well. I would like to see more videos like that! ^^
This is great and I can adapt this for a little leprechaun for the holiday 🍀 !

This was going out very good but until you went really fast by the head and I couldn’t see so then I couldn’t make the head and now I’m crying having a mental breakdown
I wanna try making this, then crochet different outfits for the little doll :P
Update: I started on it. I’m almost finished! just gotta do the arms, make the eyes and I’ll be good to go :D
Update 2: Finished!
Awesome! That’s my plan as well, since I can’t find any patterns for the characters from Six.
@@midnightdoodles Cool! Good luck on that.
@@umhello9962 Thanks! I’m starting in a couple months, since right now I’m making a chunky knit blanket :)
I had not thought of using a Bobby pin as a stitch marker! Love it!
Mattia King I love to use them! The mini ones are the best I need to order more
Taiwan has successfully blocked out covid-19 for more than 1 year, unfortunately badly threatened these days. We are in semi lockdown now. Today is my day 7 of quarantine, and this video made my day! I spend 6 hours to make a lovely doll, and I have never tried things like this before! Feel pretty good about myself. I believe the teacher takes most of the credit. Thank you very much. Wish everything will be all right soon.
I love the way you did your legs I’m going to do mine that way from now on thanks 😊 great video
Diana Butler thank you!
She just goes 'yeah so you have to do 6 single crochets' *proceeds to crrochet half the leg in 0.2sec*
You hooked me with the line "for those out there who like to work on quick projects. "
I had only crocheted a length (for practice) before this. Now I have a doll! Your video was great, but as a true beginner I had to look up what a magic circle was and also had to slow down your vid to see exactly what you were doing sometimes. Your hands are so fast! 😮 But thank you 😁
I love this doll so much! I'm going to make so many :)
Anna Lande yay!!! Tag me on insta
This is the best crochet doll tutorial on RUclips! Thank you so much for doing such a detail video on this doll pattern. New Sub!!! Do you have any doll clothes patterns for this doll? Thanks❤
