Hey coach I’ve been doing meditation like you told me for a few weeks and for the first week it was the best thing that I have ever done and my games have gone so smoothly Except overtime it’s not been as strong and mentally calming that it used to be and I’ve found myself getting more distracted by external things while I’m mediating, runny nose, sibling walking in, postural pain, discomfort and now in games I’ve gotten a bit more lost

Hi, that's ok. We're not going to perform at our best, or be as present as we can be, every single game. What we're looking for is progress over time. You might be a lot more focused one game, and maybe less the next game, but over the course of months and longer, overall you're going to be far more focused. The goal is long term improvement, so no worries! - Simon, Team DeepGame

@@DeepGameBasketball got it but is there a way I can meditate without having distractions or any sort of discomfort, and when can I learn to meditate without a audio guide

@@hass8625 While it's good to have a place you can meditate where distractions are minimized, distractions coming up during meditation can actually be a really good form of practice. It's just another indicator for you to bring your attention back to your breath. When you notice you're distracted - whether in your own thoughts, or in something external - just bring yourself back. For our purposes, that's basically what meditation is. You can start doing unguided meditation whenever you feel you're ready, there's not really a proper mark - Simon, Team DeepGame
